DON'T APPLY FOR A JOB HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE THE OWNER'S PERSONAL BABYSITTER!!! please read to the end, this cold stone should be held accountable.
my friend worked here and had the same experience, and i should've listened and not applied. I trained at cold stone in hopes of a calm summer job; my first job too! All was well until my second day of training. Apparently I still had stuff to work on, but they made me feel inadequate for not picking up the skills instantly. the next day, the owner's wife (Naaz) told me that i should try babysitting for them. What originally sounded like an offer quickly turned into a demand. She said that the only reason she hired me was because i had childcare experience and she needed a nanny, which made me feel obligated to do it just to keep my job there. I decided to do it despite not having a baby sitting job in a year or two. when i arrived, there was a 4 year old and three toddlers (2 and younger). I was severely unprepared, only expecting one or two kids. I was overwhelmed, running from one room to another to make sure they were safe. while i was checking on the babies in one room, one of them fell in a different room and cut his lip on the inside. I panicked as his mouth filled with blood and began to cry as i contacted my boss. After this i had one more shift at cold stone before they decided to stop training me. that day, Naaz had brought her child into work. She was crying and being loud and running in the areas we were working in, so Naaz took her to a part of the store with no cameras and started to hit her. She was only four. I was told that they wouldn't need me after that day.
