Andersonville’s Getting a Colectivo Coffee Cafe Later This Year | Eater Chicago

"In Lincoln Park their space features a lively patio area—the designers even transformed a former Einstein Bros. Bagels parking lot into that patio." - Ashok Selvam

Colectivo in Lincoln Park is a fantastic roaster and coffee house, perfectly located right off Clark with an awesome patio for nice days and a cozy indoor space for the colder months. The coffee selection is top-tier, and their merch is great too. Every drink I’ve tried has been excellent — the Almond Brittle Latte was unbelievably good, and their Snow Day coffee was also right on point. Food-wise, you can never go wrong with the chorizo breakfast burrito. It’s consistently delicious and pairs perfectly with their drinks. All around, an amazing spot for coffee, food, and a great vibe. Highly recommend!

While the food and drinks are good, I'm not really a fan of the space. Is nice to have this large outdoor space that can be enclosed, but if you don't like eating outside you're a bit out of luck. The other miss this spot has is a huge lack of plugs relative to seating. If you want to work or charge your phone there's maybe three plugs along the wall and that's it. Most other locations have a ton more and you're able to charge up no matter where you sit. Grab something to go, but if you want to sit down there are better locations.

Busy mainstream bean tavern with good coffee and quick service. Tucked inside here to warm cold blood and found it packed with people doing the same. It's filled with loud fun convos, warm food, aromatic coffee but few open seats.

Corner cafe with great bakery selection. They have plenty of space to meet up with friends or to study. They play background songs and it is very relaxing environment. In general I love their coffee and I tried pistachio latte this time. It was too sweet for me I don’t like sugar in my coffee at all. They are quick with service.

A lively café with a spacious patio and energetic vibes. The drink menu features a great mix of seasonal and specialty options. Perfect spot for catching up with friends or getting work done - there’s Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets along the walls for laptop use.

Beautiful building and nice patio, and amazing smoothie - but that’s where my positive experience stopped. Waited 20 minutes for my breakfast sandwich before realizing I’d been skipped over. The counter guy just said “uhh someone must have taken your order” and then put in a new one. Would have maybe been nice to expedite that 2nd sandwich for me considering my friends were already done eating and ready to leave. But no, I waited another 15 for my sandwich which turned out being quite mediocre, the bread is not your typical English muffin its gross like a churro donut and the egg gave me the ick and wasn’t fresh. Probably would give this place 4 stars if their staff wasn’t so clueless.

A nice spot to hang out in the summer. Their deck is very large and you can always find a spot to sit. I love their garden goddess sandwich (I hope they always keep this on their menu). The sandwich bread is a good quality sourdough always tasting fresh. I am happy to say that there is still at-least one place in the city that is reasonably priced to get a coffee and sandwich. It seems like the prices have gone crazy high but Colectivo is still reasonable. It is my weekend go-to!

As a local real estate agent in Lincoln Park. I’ve been coming to Colectivo Coffee for over 7 years — since my college days — and it’s still one of my favorite spots in Lincoln Park. As a loyal customer and now a local realtor, I often bring clients here for a casual meeting or just to enjoy a great cup of coffee in a relaxed setting. One of the best parts of Colectivo is the outdoor patio — it's spacious, inviting, and perfect for catching up on work or having a conversation in a more laid-back environment. Whether it's sunny or just a mild day, the patio always has a great neighborhood vibe. The coffee is consistently excellent, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere makes it easy to feel at home. Colectivo has been a part of my daily routine for years, and I’m always proud to support a local favorite that’s truly become part of the community.
