Normally go to the one in wicker park but for a chance to try this one out. Space is a bit tighter and there's less seating available indoors, but during the summer there a much larger patio. Menu is just as solid and employees were friendly. Worth going out making it your regular go to option.

Google
A very interesting and hip space. The sitting areas are all wooden tables and benches, and I prefer cafes to be a bit cozier with couches, with a warmer or more community-oriented atmosphere. Lots of outlets though. The tea I ordered was a bit bland. The foods do look quite tasty though and I am interested in trying them next time.

Google
This is one of my new favorite spots in Chicago. The staff is amazing and so nice, the atmosphere is great, and I was able to get some good studying in. I had a vegan green smoothie, a cold brew, and a blueberry muffin. I also ordered a BLT to take home and a bag of whole bean coffee. Everything was amazing! Even if you’re not vegan I highly recommend that vegan green smoothie. It’s delicious and filling.

Google
The mocha shake was exactly what I wanted it to be and the sausage egg and cheese English muffin was average (it came with a sweet spicy sauce that definitely upped the wow factor) but all in all exactly what I wanted from a cafe breakfast. The service was awesome on a busy day and the atmosphere was excellent. The outdoor patio was such a lovely place for a catch up with my favorite person <3

Google
The staff at the Logan Square Colectivo are what keep me coming back. Shout out to Forest who always makes my experience the best by being kind, welcoming and friendly! Aside from the staff, the coffee is amazing. No matter where I go in the world, I am always happy to come back to drink the delicious, well balanced coffee at Colectivo!

Small and quaint the vibes be reminding me of Austin. Was able to enjoy a coffee and catch up with an old friend for a good hour and never felt rushed. The majority of the patrons here were on their laptops working away. The bagel was mid. as it was slightly burned but all in all a good place to chill.

Sabrina Mendoza

Google
Cute & chill place to get some work done or for some coffee dates. Outlets all over the place (if you’re seated along the window, look underneath the table for the outlet.) Currently they discount you .25 cents if you bring in your own mug for your beverages! They also had some indie rock playlist while I was there that I enjoyed :) Two unisex bathrooms in the back I was a bit concerned with the lack of upkeep with cleaning/wiping down tables in between patrons that are coming and going. Good menu with a variety of beverages, food, more fulfilling meals, & merchandise. They have a crate with games & such for people to enjoy while at the coffee shop which I thought was pretty neat.

Google
I love Colectivo and have been going here - and many other locations - for yearssss but lately it feels like they almost intentionally mess up my food order. 3x now they've forgotten the chips with my sandwich and the salsa with my burrito. I can accept the shrinkflation that's occurred over the years and I can get over that food no longer comes with sliced orange, but please give me all the food I pay for. I'll be back because it's good, but just passing on some feedback :)

Yelp
Fantastic management, super helpful staff. I love visiting this place nearby. The app is clutch too for skipping any wait time. Big fan! Also great vibes overall!

Yelp
I came here for a quick cup of coffee. This place was packed when we arrived and had to wait a little bit to get our coffee. They seem to have a pretty decent food menu as well, but we had just eaten so we didn't get a chance to try their food. I did take a croissant home, it looks really good, but it definitely didn't tasted all that great. My wife tried ordering their smoked vanilla mocha, but they had ran out of smoked vanilla, so I honestly don't remember what she had ordered. I wanted something spicy so I ordered their Winter Spice Latte. It came with spiced syrup, smoked cloves, and peppercorns. Sadly there as much spice in it as I had hoped but it still tasted good. Overall they seem to have a fun selection, an I can definitely see myself returning more frequently.

Yelp
Big fan of this place, good coffee, nice staff. Cool beatnik vibe inside. I wish they would quit giving me my dine in orders in "to go" boxes and bags. Happens all the freakin time. Huge waste of paper products. Just put it on a plate.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop with plenty of seating inside and outside! The outdoor patio is actually quite large. I came by for lunch and ordered to go via the app so I can't say much when it comes to service but the food was ready during the time the app said it would be. The impossible burrito was delicious and had a kick with the salsa. I'm not vegetarian but enjoyed it. Wish it was a little bigger. Almond croissant was also good although shaped a bit funny.

Yelp
This place is hipster and cool, clean and organized. It was a little weird that there is a wall separating the dining rooms, but oh well who cares. I got the tiny tiny little coffee cup, but my drink was too strong. It's a cute place, but not sure i would come back if i came back to Chicago
google avatar

Maria L.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my meal here, as well as my coffee. If I lived in the area and wasn't just in vacation I would probably co-work in the space. I appreciated that the big tables had signs asking people to be 2 or more to keep enough space open for others. The employees all had masks and honestly I still appreciate that too!

Yelp
Hipster vibes and creative coffees and pastries. My favorite is the oatchata (basically and oat milk horchata latte) - equally delish hot or cold. They have a lot of fun seasonal flavors as well as staff favorites/creations. The patio is very chill, dog friendly, and makes for fantastic people watching.
google avatar

Natalie K.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Sunday and loved the vibes of this place. We got a matcha latte, a maple cardamom latte (seasonal), and a piece of banana bread. Everything was phenomenal and the service was great! It looks like it's dog friendly so we'll be back with ours next time.

Yelp
Good spot for studying. Cute indoor and outdoor seating. Baristas we're nice and have helpful suggestions on what to order. The honey lavender coconut latte was sweet and tasty. But the real star of the show was the BBQ brisket sandwich. This sandwich was heavy and hefty but so so so good! Great balance of sweet, savory, and tangibles. The horseradish sauce on the side was a great addition. I could barely finish the sandwich on my own so my boyfriend had no issue helping me finish! 10/10 recommend!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing coffee! We got the impossible burrito and a nice vanilla latte with oatmilk as we were passing by for a stroll and it did not disappoint. There were lots of customers around and it was super nice and busy, so definitely a popular space! If you want the impossible burrito highly recommend getting there early tho, they run out pretty fast. It was phenomenal though, absolutely loved it! Staff was very quick with their service and super friendly as they gave suggestions on which coffee beans we should buy. Would come here again!

Yelp
We have been buying Colectivo regularly for years, but the Logan Square location is upsetting. The oatchata has gone from a delicious drink, to one with barely any flavor, to today, when we received a cold brew coffee with zero flavor syrup. So you break out the thimble to measure coffee flavorings now or...? We've also received inconsistent food, lots of burnt stuff. Logan Square is the only location with this problem. Wicker Park isn't too far away, head over there.

Yelp
I really enjoy this place! The cafe is cute and different from others. The coffee is wonderful. I had a chocolate croissant and it was great. The staff was super patient and helpful. Love this place! They have a patio as well as an indoor space-both of which are spacious.

Yelp
The only Colectivo in Chicago that the Wi-Fi is nearly unusable on their patio. It's sad cause patio-life is what Colectivo does well. So bring your own hotspot or forget about it. Also they reinstated the 60 minute Wi-Fi timer inside, which guarantees an unceremonious sudden cutoff to that work zoom meeting or web edits. Have lost work to this multiple times. You want to bang your head against the wall. :-7 And the little things: they out of the blue decided that their perfect "medium" sized ceramic mugs are no longer available for customers: you're required to pay for a large. I don't like cold coffee at the bottom of my mug so this just isn't what i want. (esp. hard to know what the trouble was). Still-- I'm very glad they finally (after 2 years) did return to offering service options that don't use landfill disposables.

Champalula S.

Yelp
I never received bad service in a coffee shop in Chicago until I visited here today. I came many times to this location and enjoyed but wow they were rude today!! I order a medium mochi and tasted it, it was bad, and although I LOVE mochi in general that one here was super bitter. I returned it back and asked if I can get a regular cappuccino instead and they said NO. They said that they can charge me for a new cappuccino but not exchange it. I showed them that the mochi is full since I did not drink it because of its bad taste but they said that because I tried it I can not ask for an exchange. Go figure...

Yelp
Best Matcha Latte I've ever had. And such a cool little spot. We went every morning we were in Chicago.

Yelp
I will drive all way to the city just for their Iced Cold Brew Oat-Chata. SO GOOD!!!! and I am not an ice coffee lover to be honest, but this one is heaven! Perfectly balanced cinnamon flavored and especially refreshing for this way too hot summer! Also, their patio. OMG! Their patio is amazing, a must-go if you are around the neighborhood. I haven't tried their food, but I am so looking forward to it! Definitely a great spot to enjoy some coffee with friends, or work/study from there!

Yelp
Came here to work this morning as my Internet was down. I enjoyed brewed coffee and an everything bagel for breakfast. I also had several glasses of water, which you could get sparkling or still. The bathrooms here are clean but there was only one in service. They have paid parking nearby or if you walk about 2 blocks out you could probably find parking in the neighborhood. I like the fact that it's close to Dollar Tree and Dollar General so I was also able to get some household items on my way home. The cafe seemed to have it all: outdoor dining, indoor dining and Internet ordering. ALSO a reward system for frequent customers.
google avatar

Nina A.

Yelp
Good drinks, good food, and a great outdoor seating area! I loved coming here to enjoy the sun and get some work done. They do sell out of some of their more popular items (they were sold out of their chorizo burrito at 11am on Sunday), so go early if you're craving something specific. I think I'll be back here regularly!

Yelp
Their lattes are delicious. I don't know about the food yet because today will be the first time I've had any food from there.

Nastassia K.

Yelp
Repost since they deleted my original review.. can't handle the truth, Colectivo? Firstly, atmosphere was chill and fine. The person at the cash register was very kind and helped me make my decision. The matcha latte I drank was good. Controversially, I find the Starbucks equivalent better. The burrito was fine too. However... the process to receive my matcha was a whole other story. I had ordered my meal with my friend, who ordered a spritz drink. A drink came out under my name and had my order sticker on it, but it was my friend's spritz. We figured it was fine and my drink would come up under her name. That was NOT the case. My friend's drink came up - another spritz. We pointed this out to the shorter barista. They said we could keep the drinks since my friend took a sip. We said she didn't take a sip of the newest spritz, to which the employee sassily replied "Just keep it. I don't have time for this." Well I've never... how rude! I work in the service industry and can't fathom saying that to a customer. Especially if it was my mistake. The shop was not busy enough to somewhat justify this act of rudeness. Nice neighborhood, but I won't make a return until the barista starts to mind their manners.

S H.

Yelp
Don't go to this location. They don't move quickly... at all. They also don't seem to help each other, and seem oblivious to the fact that there people waiting MUCH longer than they should.
google avatar

Cinthya Q.

Yelp
Great lattes (try one with oat milk!). The location is convenient and they have a large outdoor patio where you can work or enjoy a nice breakfast. They even have large fire pits for the colder months.

Yelp
It's official. They are my new favorite coffee spot. WTF do I know about coffee? Well here were my favs before I found Colectivo: 1. Philz 2. Blue Bottle 3. Peet's 4. Intellegentsia 5. Sightglass Yea maybe it's a lil boughie...but if Starbucks is in your top 3 we can't be friends. Anyways, I've only ordered online and have never been to Colectivo (life in pandemic) so can't rate the ambiance. But if coffee that takes 20mins to get to me is still hot and awesome imagine what it's like fresh. Coffee: Iced horchata latte and Mexican mocha are my favs. Food: And don't get me started on the food. They have my favorite English muffin breakfast sandwich. And the bakery desserts are insane. Pretty sure the orange gingerbread cookie w/ cream has crack in it. Yes...crack. It's that good. Side note: I've never done crack but can only imagine this is a similar high:) They also have a breakfast burrito that while small in size is tasty AF. Enjoy this place before it franchises everywhere!

Yelp
My friends were happy with their coffee and teas. I was happy with my berry smoothie - flavor, sweetness, consistency. Staff were very friendly with smiles even though we arrived close to closing time. It's relatively more spacious and has more tables than your average city coffee shop.
google avatar

Angie T.

Yelp
A fantastic coffee spot with a lot of great choices for food. The avocado toast was on multi grain bread and topped with a sliced deviled egg and pickled onion...it was super fresh. The burrito looked deceiving small but was very filling. Unlike a lot of breakfast spots on a Saturday morning in Chicago, we didn't have to wait!
google avatar

MR. F.

Yelp
Smooth and bold. Like velvet. Nice selection of sugar free syrups. Just try it once. You hate it then don't come back. They need more Chicagoland locations. And stay open later. I need my fix at night to.

Yelp
I'm glad that "Colectivo Coffee" has made their way from Wisconsin to Chicago! They recently just had their 25-year anniversary. Wow, for a regional business like this, that's incredible! This particular location is off the CTA California Blue Line station, so hubby and I often utilize this place as our after-work meeting spot on Thursdays or Fridays. They have a minimalist, yet beautiful patio open during warmer seasons. Nevertheless, they have enough indoor seating for all. Those who want to work solo can sit against the windows, while the tables can reserve for guests in party of 2 or more. Coffee there is already solid and fairly-priced for the city of Chicago standard. They also offer some creative beverages, such as sparking fruit espresso (stir it before consuming...taste a bit similar to caffe Medici if you ever had one before) and horchata latte. Breakfast items and sandwiches are served all day and that's a plus if you would like some light meals to go with the coffee. For non-coffee drinkers, they have fruit smoothies, tea, and even keg beer brewed locally. In other words, this coffee shop is truly family-friendly because there's something for everybody. Workers there are chill and nice. I haven't had any any negative experience and I'm there almost every week, if not, every other week or so. It looks like they provide limited WiFi service on the weekends (a sign indicated by the register), so put down your laptops, grab some coffee, and hang out with your family and friends at "Colectivo."
google avatar

Auden S.

Yelp
I've tried Colectivo a couple times now and as much as I tried to like them and support my local neighborhood coffee shop, I simply wasn't able to. The prices are expensive for such small portions, and the coffees I ordered tasted strange and almost spice-like, despite never having ordered a chai or PSL from here. Their "large" size is disappointing as it is not large at all. Unfortunately, it's a no for me.
google avatar

Isaly G.

Yelp
this place is so awesome! it's a very yummy cool girl spot right next to the blue line! i usually get an iced chai with extra espresso and it's delish. i went there before taking the train tl a date cuz i didn't want to be too early HA, the date was a success i also did my hw here and passed maybe this place is good luck!! average overpriced coffee shop in an up and coming gentrified neighborhood but alas i still go there what can i say‍ they close at 6 which is sick cuz sometimes i have nothing to do all day and i can just spend time there! cool bathroom too.
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
The only thing consistent about this location is their inconsistency. Ordered a specialty drink today and they left out the flavored syrup that comes standard in the drink, which they do often. Was also missing the salsa with my burrito that also comes standard with that order. This happens all the time at this location. I filled out a survey for Colectivo weeks ago letting them know, and received a form response saying this isn't how they want things to be, apologized for my experience, and that they would review all this with the manager. I don't think this happened, because this is still an issue. Conclusion: if you enjoy guessing wether or not you will get what you paid for, go here.

Brian T.

Yelp
I've never seen a food place be out of menu items so much. If you don't get there first thing in the morning I wouldn't even bother. Not only that but they are extremely slow if you're ordering anything but plain coffee.
google avatar

Yelp
I was excited to stop by yesterday morning. I have seen a few of the yelp reviews and I wanted to see for myself if this place was holding up to the good reviews. Nice trendy and hipster coffee shop. Outdoor Patio With A FirePit Great Customer Service Helpful and friendly staff. The space has a nice size to sit and enjoy a nice Hot Expresso, Coffee Etc. Enjoyable Music playing in the background. There is a nice back area where you can come and sit for a few hours to work on your laptop or just come and read. Colectivo Coffee has a variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches along with a glass display full of different delicious Danish, Bagels and other sweet goodies. Street Meter Parking along the streets. Thanks to Kelly & Austin for being so nice, attentive and patient with me.

Yelp
This cute cafe is perfect for work or lounging with friends. I had the macchiato and almond croissant. The almond croissant was full of flavor with every bite. Definitely will return.

Yelp
Great coffee, food and service. Clean and lovely vibes. Lots of variety (vegan options too). Love sitting outside on the big patio. Great place.

Yelp
I'm definitely a fan. They've been open for about 2 months now and are a great addition to the area. I used Yelp to find nearby coffee shops and this was one of the closest, so we stopped by to get some work done. First of all, the design is so cool! The outside area has a fire pit and benches (unfortunately covered by snow from the storm Chicago just had), but a large space that I'm sure they'll take over when the weather warms up like they did with the Lincoln Park location. Inside there are plenty of small tables and a bar area to get work done. Plants, vibrant colors, and free wifi make it a great place to hang out. The staff is incredibly friendly and will give you food/drink recommendations if needed. The biggest surprise from this visit was that my boyfriend told me that the beer he ordered was one of the best he's ever had! I probably wouldn't order the coffee cake muffin again, but all of their baked goods looked tasty. TLDR: Great place to chill or get some work done.

Yelp
Stopped by for a hot drink to sip on while starting a new book on a dreary, rainy day. They offer an extensive menu of unique drinks(hello horchata cold brew) with a variety of different milks available. I settled for a medium bonfire mocha that cost me about $5. The space is trendy with low lighting, host to students, families, and professionals alike. There is ample countertop real estate for the single patron, and additional table seating in the back. The background music has a presence but it isn't overwhelming to the senses, though like with many coffee shops the acoustics aren't great and the side chatter from other tables can muddy the airwaves a bit when it gets busy. The drink was pleasant, a spiced chocolate-y espresso with oat milk, though it was a bit heavy on the cayenne. I like spicy things but I could feel it hitting the back of my throat, and it left a thick dangerous sludge at the bottom of my mug that I almost forgot to avoid. I didn't order any food so I can't speak of its quality. There was an altercation between a customer and the barista concerning the contents of some burritos she ordered. She was rather rude about it but the staff seemed to handle it well even though she left in a huff. Colectivo provided a nice little getaway from the house to warm the ol' bones on a cold day. The book wasn't good, but the drink served its purpose.
google avatar

Bernadette D.

Yelp
All the Colectivo shops are all bright, colorful and give off the same cool vibe. This Colectivo has plenty of tables and seating available. They have some creative drinks available like their Horchata cold brew with oat milk. This time I ordered the Matcha latte with soy milk. I thought the drink was alright. I think it needed more matcha or something to make it more flavorful. Other than that, I enjoy coming here and getting some work done on a Friday afternoon.
google avatar

Jess R.

Yelp
Super good stuff here. I like that most things aren't too sweet. Coffees are STRONG however. Like, go right through you strong so be aware of that. The chia bowl is one of the most tasty comfort food snacks I've ever had. I recommend it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Gina D.

Yelp
First time here: aesthetically pleasing with the hip colors and plenty of outside seating. I ordered a chai latte which was up there with my fav cafe , bf got a matcha latte (pretty good). Breakfast burritos are small, which I prefer for breakfast vs a large burrito and delicious Great place to bring a laptop and hangout.

Yelp
Good vibes, great coffee, tasty food! Stopped by on a Sunday because I wanted to explore the neighborhood and walked into Colectivo - beautifully quirky interior design and awesome selection of food. Most of the time, I walk into cafes that have nothing but pastries (which I love, and Colectivo has them too!). But sometimes you crave something more than just caffeine and flour. :) Got avocado toast, which I was pleasantly surprised had also pesto, tomato, lettuce, and a fried egg!! Oat milk latte was velvety smooth and didn't have any bitterness at all. Also got to converse with the barista, who was super friendly. Super filling and peaceful way to spend my Sunday.

Yelp
Great compcet, delicious coffee excellent coustumer service from Stephanie she give us a quick tour about the history of the coffe shop. Defenally recommended

Yelp
I've been coming to this location for years. I love the southwest burrito and the cranberry muffins. The employees are friendly and the location has a nice ambiance. The outdoor area is very cool. I don't know of any other fire pits but we definitely need more of them in Chicago! I no longer pass Colectivo everyday on my way to work, but I still make the effort to get there weekly!

Yelp
Just curious... 2 times when I've stopped by to grab a coffee, I've been asked by an employee to step back while waiting for coffee for social distancing measures. I was at fault and applaud the enforcement of protocol. Why then are folks allowed to enter with masks under their noses? I see a guy at the register for several minutes asking questions about items on the menu with his mask under his nose and this is ok? I then have to stand in this spot to place my order? I get that enforcing protocol is not easy and appreciate what I feel has been excellent service under difficult circumstances. Any chance signs can be posted to address this improper use of PPEs? When customers crowd your space, you guys rightfully enforce protocol. But when there is a more egregious violation where customers queue, these nose breathers are contaminating the area where someone just moments later will occupy the same space. recent studies have shown that the virus is transmitted via aerosol. Why have a very good protocol in place and allow these selfish folks who can't cover their noses for 5 minutes undermine safety? I'm sorry if I sound hyper vigilant. I hate wearing a mask too. It's the right thing to do. Thanks for your service and stay safe.

Yelp
Got my stuff to- go and coffee was super yummy. The matcha was the right amount of sweetness. The person at the register had great service too.

Yelp
I came here on the absolute most perfect day. It wasn't too hot but they had half of the doors/windows open. I sat facing the street, sipping my horchata cold brew and people watching in between studying. I saw a pug wearing socks walk by and then a minute later saw a guy wearing a pug shirt. No relation. It was the ultimate perfect morning. I was such a huge fan of the horchata cold brew because it wasn't overly sweet. In fact, if you're wanting a sugary type of drink, this isn't it. It's more cinnamon-y than sweet. All of the employees had smiles on their faces and there were plenty of seats. Free wifi, clean bathrooms, and a cute water station for all your hydration needs.
google avatar

Charisse B.

Yelp
It took us a while to decide on what to get because there was just so much too choose from. They have a good mix of beverages from coffee and tea to beer and smoothies. They have tons of food options as well. We ordered special drinks they had that day - the cold brew mojito and the Tahitian Sunset smoothie. They were alright. My bf and I ended up switching drinks because the cold brew mojito just tasted weird for me. I was feeling adventurous but it didn't work out this time :) It was a particularly sunny and humid day, and because the entire front part of the shop is made of windows, there was lots of sunlight coming in and it made it unbearably hot and muggy inside. It seemed like they had no a/c or fans to help cool down. We opted to sit in their huge patio, where it was actually cooler. Major plus for having lots of seating options inside and outside. Milwaukee is a very busy street but parking shouldn't be too much of a hassle as there's plenty of metered parking. FYI, they turn off their WiFi for a period of time on Saturdays (I believe from 11am-2pm?) .. not too sure of the start time but something to consider if you're going there to do work or surf the net.

Yelp
I really love this place! Our first visit and we will be back soon. Super friendly and helpful staff, huge menu, decent prices and lots of seating...including a sweet outdoor patio. They also offer to refill your own coffee cup with drip for like $2...awesome! We had pour over coffees, fantastic. Partner had califlower curry soup...VERY good! Bowl was $5 with 2 slices of toasted homemade bread that was great. Complimentary still and gas water available, LOVED this station! Baked goods looked incredible here so did other food.

Yelp
Good spot to meet with folks and grab a bite or drink. Their London Fog is delicious and try the broccoli and cheese burrito. I appreciate the fire pit to keep folks warm outside!
