First visit and we were only disappointed we didn't come here sooner!! Magnificent location and view, the signature menu was superdelicious! Accompanying wines were excellent. Highly recommended, we will be visiting again!!

This is arguably the best Michellin experience thus far in Europe in my humble opinion. I can even tell it's better than Hof Van Cleeve, the best one in Belgium. On the treat of my bro & sis in law, they already informed the kitchen I am allergic to gluten and dairy, and stick to vegetarian diet. They prepared accordingly. Every dish was fantastic. For amuse bouche, I did love this lovely tomato gazpacho. It's truly one of the best for its taste and texture. They use agar agar make it lumpy but not slimy! This beautiful mustard sorbet is phenomenal. And this beautifully prepared white asparagus was absolutely fantastic. Usually the European food is heavy with so much dairy and seasoning, but every dish I got served this time wasn't overpowering and really Great. Cannot complain for their foods. Ah, their gin tonic with their homemade gin is also great. Citrusy and some sort of elegantly bitter botanicals. Really great. Already convinced from the beginning indeed. The head chef is renowned for top notch quality of cooking for the EU meetings and state visit. This is truly Flemish-Belgian! One thing tho, i didn't know the service lasted 5+ hours. So the dinner ended at 00:20.. besides that amazing experience and beautiful lake by side.

My recent lunch at Colette de Vijvers was a significant disappointment. Despite the beautiful scenery, the dining experience fell short of expectations. The staff were static and showed no passion, and the service was slow. The food was merely okay, the appetizers were ok, but the rest was not up to the standards of a two-star restaurant. The main course, particularly the summer venison, was not well cooked and visually unappealing. Overall, the dishes lacked surprise and excitement. While the scenic surroundings are lovely, the overall dining experience does not justify a return visit. Probably the dream had a bad day.

One of the best diner experiences I have had. Professional and friendly staff, hostess and chef. The food is absolutely finger-licking good, from the amuses up until the cheese and dessert. The extra sweets you can choose together with the coffee are brought to you at the table, and there is simply too many of them and they all look so good with a taste to match. I am normally not a wine drinker, but the paired wines were all spot on and enhanced all the courses.

Our dinner at Colette - De Vijvers was absolutely amazing. Every moment was a true experience from the mokent you arrive until you leave. This might possibly be the best Wagyu I have eaten in my life and to top it all of the chef put such an amazing Belgian twist on the way it's served that made it only more amazing. We will definitely return here and I recommend everyone else to do so as well.

Among the best restaurant I have been. Food is delicious based in few ingredients and used in their full respect. Drink pairings are very good and the setting is fantastic. Some might say portions are small (and they do are), but for me given the number of servings they are big enough.
