We wanted to end our 2 week trip in Europe with a nice dinner and found Colette on the Michelin Guide. We were the first table to arrive on a Monday night but by the time we left every table was full. We chose to order A’ La Carte instead of the La Selection menu. We stared with the lettuce heart and onion soup. The grilled pineapple on the salad was delectable. My husband really enjoyed the onion soup and said the cheese made the dish. For entrees I got the Boeuf Bourguignon and my husband got the Fillet. Both were out of this world excellent! The fillet was huge, cooked as ordered, and was very tender. The Boeuf Bourguignon was so tender and I loved the richness of the sauce. Instead of dessert we ordered another glass of wine. Overall this was a wonderful experience and a beautiful meal. We enjoyed stepping out of the tourist parts of the city and enjoying a restaurant that was truely local.

Great food! I would highly recommend trying something from the set menu - I got the Wagyu and the Tarte from it and absolutely loved them both! Beautiful flavours! The beef bourguignon was a bit on the salty side. Banana (dessert) was slightly too sweet, go for it if you love bananas though. The highlight was the Tarte. Would love to try the full 4 or 5 course menu the next time. Seating is slightly uncomfortable- we sat in the 2 person corner booth. Our backs were hurting by the end of the meal.

From the moment we arrived, the charming ambience set the tone for a memorable evening. The option for outdoor seating added a wonderful touch, perfect for enjoying a relaxed yet refined dining experience. Service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and genuinely engaging. The team ensured we felt welcomed and well cared for throughout the night. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. We began with Oysters and Bouillabaisse, both bursting with flavour and freshness—an excellent introduction to what was to come. For the main course, the Pulpo and Rinderfilet were prepared to perfection, each dish showcasing both creativity and culinary expertise. Dessert was another highlight: the Birne 1001 was a delicious and elegant finish to the meal. Complementing the dishes was a thoughtfully curated wine list, offering excellent pairings to elevate each course. Overall, it was a truly lovely evening filled with fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be returning!

My long-anticipated visit to Colette last night regrettably fell short of expectations, resulting in a merely acceptable, yet ultimately disappointing, experience. Service was a notable concern. Despite the restaurant being only half full, the staff seemed overwhelmed and rushed. Interactions were brief, lacking the warmth and attentiveness one hopes for, which detracted from the overall dining atmosphere. Food quality was inconsistent. The prawn starter's pistachio crumb was excessive, overpowering the prawns. Steaks, ordered medium, arrived medium-rare. While a complimentary dessert was offered as compensation, it didn't fully compensate for the main course issue. On a positive note, the wine list was excellent, proving to be a highlight of the evening. In summary, the meal was just okay, and the price-to-performance ratio was significantly off. Despite the gesture of a free dessert, I would not return, sorry. It was an adequate, but ultimately disappointing, visit.

Overall a great experience .. service was awesome .. thank you for such a service in Christmas Day. Sadly dogs are not allowed .. but it was told us on advance ! Improvement could be on the vegan carrot main dish. Some different textures would have been great. Classic menu was awesome ! I will return !

Very good food and service. And the best part was the atmosphere. This is such a wonderful and elegant place, with lots of attention to detail. The octopus was delicious and so were the cocktails. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

We had an amazing evening here. The place has a French Bistro experience and very modern and classy decor. What was added along with the delicious food was was the amazing customer service of all the female staff. They were so accommodating and welcoming that they made our dining experience awesome! They have a nice selection of French wines to pair with your dishes. Finish you meal with the chocolate mousse and you will definitely thank me. I recommend reserving ahead. I highly recommend this place for a nice cozy dinner with your special one.

Lovely restaurant by the looks. However, a dreadful experience. The artichoke was hard, and raw. The soup was excessively salty and nothing close to a French onion soup. The service was sloppy: if you want to clutter the table with stuff, be my guest but then don’t push the dishes on the table to make room for them. The waiter was disappointing, over the course of the meal as he noticed my lack of excitement and of ordering expensive food, treated us colder and colder, peaking with the end that did not even bother to give us our coats that he so pompously collected upon entering the restaurant, and just shouted goodbye when we were at the door. A disappointing 160€ meal you did not deserve to earn from me.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. Almost every plate was covered in foam, which became quite repetitive and lacked the creativity that I was hoping for. However, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable, with their attentive service and warm hospitality. I ordered the crème brûlée, which was served deconstructed with poached plums. While the flavor of the custard was good, the missing crunch of the caramelized sugar coating on top was a disappointment. The poached plums didn't seem to add much to the dish and felt out of place. Despite the shortcomings, I appreciated the effort put into the plating and presentation. The atmosphere of the restaurant was chic and modern, and the attention to detail was evident in the décor and lighting. Overall, while my experience wasn't ideal, I would be willing to give this restaurant another chance in the future to see if my experience changes.

Prawn starter was fantastic , steak and suckling pig were both awful. It is a beautiful restaurant but such a shame that food was really disappointing.

The thing I love about brasseries in France is amazing flavour, good sized portions and good value for money. This place was none of that. It's average food, expensive for what it is and flavors just were not there. It has lovely interiors, nice ambience and that's where it ends. The food was pretty average I am afraid. The oysters were ok nothing special, the foie gras was claggy and lacked the punch I expect from this classic French dish and the fish dish was too salty. Two of us had the exact same comment, the sauce was far too salty and took away from the dish. The crème brûlée was also average and lacked the rich custard i expect from this classic French dessert. Service was nice but a bit sporadic and we had empty glasses more often that we would have liked. The waiters were nice and friendly but lacked attention to detail. At this level I expect more. I wouldn't rush back here by any means. The wine list here is the best thing with a nice selection of well priced wines. It's a shame as I have been meaning to come here for the last two years and it was disappointing to say the least. I am giving 3 stars for the overall experience but the food here deserves no more than 2 stars.

Summary: Incredible food, very attentive service, reasonable prices for the quality, good portions, and a casual (but classy) fine dining experience make this place a must visit. Lentil soup, tuna tartar, and steak filet with frites are fantastic. After seeing the Chefs Table episode about Tim Raue, my wife and I knew that we wanted to visit his restaurant in Munich while we were in the area. We made reservations for 6:30pm on a Saturday evening. When we arrived, there was only one other couple occupying another table in the whole restaurant. The next couple that came arrived at around 7:30pm, but the place started to really fill up after that at around 8pm. It might be because diners eat later here, or maybe it was because there was a game on TV that night, but either way it was empty when we started, but filled up by the end. After being seated, we were given the menus and told about the prix fixe menu for the day. We perused and asked for wine recommendations, then made selections for a champagne and a glass of Cote du Rhone, as well as our food orders. Lentil soup with bacon and creme fraiche - Unlike any lentil soup we have had before. My wife doesn't like lentil soups and she fell in love with this one. It was savory, creamy, warming and excellently enhanced by the truffle oil, crisp bacon strip, and dollop of creme fraiche. Amazing! Tuna tartar - Delicate little chunks of tuna with skinless cherry tomatoes that had been soaked in something spicy, flavored with citrus and served with a side of brioche toast that became very sweet when combined with the tuna and tomatoes. Very well crafted and complex. Filet of beef with salad and fries (200g) - When this first came out and we cut it open, it was VERY red inside (for medium rare). I was initially concerned, but then I took a bite and was shocked by how great the flavor was in combination with the temperature and texture. It was a perfect filet. The Bearnaise sauce that accompanied the steak was excellent, but was actually better served as a dipping sauce for the fries. The fries were hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, savory, but well balanced with some sprinkles of parsley flake. The salad on the side was very fresh, lightly sweet, and paired well. After dinner we ordered the papaya creme brulee with a small glass of dessert wine. All throughout the meal we were well attended by the staff, whom were very friendly and helpful. Everyone was great with the English translations as needed, and we were just amazed by the food. The whole meal came to a little over 100 Euro, which is a bargain given the quantity and quality of food. It was an amazing experience that I'd highly recommend for everyone.

I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. We have been here 3 times now and all have been very nice. Good to have a restaurant if this quality in the neighborhood. Typical French food. The fish is always cooked perfectly. Appreciate the simplicity of freshness of the food. Nice flavors. Good service. Excellent presentation. I would give it a 5th star if they offered more vegetable choices for those who are being healthy or who are vegetarian. This is my only complaint on the restaurant.

The interior was nice but the food is average at best. Tartar is overly sweetand the beef was stringy. Ended up sending it back. They offered to remake it but it would have been from the same beef and we were informed that its the cooks thing to make everything sweet. But they didnt't offer to take it off the bill. Also no toast is served to eat it with. Fois gras was ok but not enough toast to for the amount. Tuna was overly sweet. Special nut butter in the beginning practically frozen.
