9 Best Brunch Restaurants in Savannah, Georgia | Eater Carolinas

"Savoy Society’s younger sibling, C&L, opens at noon on weekends and stays open until midnight — meaning patrons could indulge for two hours or 12. Helmed by uber-cool Jane Fishel and friends, this Habersham Village bar spins a curated selection of vinyl records while food specials and wall galleries by local artists rotate. Gluten-free versions of toasts and sandwiches are available upon request." - Colleen McNally Arnett

24-Hour Staycation Guide to Savannah, Georgia | Eater Carolinas

"In Midtown, Colleagues & Lovers serves grown-up, nostalgic sandwiches on sturdy housemade bread — a roast beef with griddled onions and sharp cheddar or a turkey club with thick-cut bacon and avocado — inside a sleek, retro space awash in pink with a bar that beckons. The cocktail program is playful and sizable, from shaken and slushied drinks to pickled cocktails, and they even offer a craft-your-own martini setup (classic, dirty, pickle, or ginger) available as a mini for $7, a standard for $10, or even a pitcher." - Kayleigh Ruller

I love this place! It’s my home away from home. The staff are always delightful, the food divine, and the drinks on point. C&L is a perfect date spot, a place to bring your parents for dinner, or a great location for a solo cocktail. Warren always makes me a Negroni with love (and a P carved into the orange rind for my name, Paige!) and that effort means a lot. Really great group of folks behind the bar and in the kitchen, definitely worth a stop once a week (or more!) xoxo

Had a great pickle martini and a bowl of olives as a starter amazing! Liked the atmosphere and food isn't bad. Breas for sandwiches is a little tough. Only real downside to this place is one of the bartenders. Very rude and disrespectful. Not sure of his name but he is the lighter haired and one with the least amount of facial hair. The two dark haired bartenders were great.

Only been here once but I'm definitely cooking back. Lots of industry folks have been recommending this place and we decided to check it out. Loved it. The atmosphere, the cocktails, the food, and the vibe here were all great.

This place is a true gem! I live in the neighborhood and am so glad they have opened! The atmosphere is lovely. It’s really a great place to unwind or just go to and feel comfortable and invited. The service was amazing and the drinks and food were delicious!

Google
Don't walk, run. They have just opened and word is already getting out QUICK. Eat all the food and drink all the drinks. The staff here is marvelous and you'll feel right at home if you're already a fan of their sister bar Savoy. I'll be back!

Everything was perfect. Scallops - perfect. Service - over the top good. Pickle martini - one of the best I've ever had. Atmosphere was excellent - Sunday there's a dj who sets just the right vibe.

Yelp
Quirky spot in a very traditional strip - very large bar with a few tables & booth seating in front & back - went for Pizza night on Wednesday... square style - enjoyed it immensely. 2 servers held down the large crowd & did a great job.

Yelp
We arrived at 6ish on a Friday night to find an almost empty restaurant. By the time we left around 8 pm, it was pretty full. I really enjoyed the more cosmopolitan vibe and amazing service. Alexis, our bartender, really knew her cocktails. The East meets West was perfect and boozy for my "Friday after work" hit. I had the Grouper Ceviche, big marinated chunks of fish with light veggies. Seasoned well, but I would add a wedge of lime to squeeze on top to add a little citrus zip. I also tried the chopped salad with chicken. Nice Asian spice on the chicken! We also had the Braised Beef and Bucanti. A beefy noodle dish to satisy any hungry carnivore. All in all, I had a great experience and so glad we checked it out. I'm going back for sure for the Martini happy hour weekdays 4-6pm and Saturday chefs plate!

Yelp
I took a girlfriend here several months ago to celebrate her birthday. The atmosphere is very "Savannah", casual, laid back, but also a bit edgy. Our service was great. We were seated quickly, placed our order quickly, and our food came out shortly after the app and both meals were delish! This spot is within walking distance to my home and it's a place I would happily take visiting guests for a nice meal without having to travel to downtown.

Yelp
Cute new bar that's away from all the other busy bars. The drink selection is superb and the decor makes me feel like I'm in the 70s. They music on records which adds a nice vibe, but don't seem to take requests - so that's a bit of a bummer... I hope this place stays the way it does and doesn't get too busy. It's a great place for a nightcap if you live on this side of Savannah. I love that it's here, it's a nice alternative to other bars in the area and gives you the downtown bar kind of bar without going downtown!

Yelp
I came here on my own but ran into another Yelp Elite we had a really nice time! It's very small but so cozy I love the low lighting and the drinks were really good! I had the Bloody Mary which had really good flavor!

Yelp
Always a vibe. Phenomenal music, food and drinks. Not pretentious. Great gem of a place in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Got to visit this new-ish bar for the first time tonight and I definitely will be returning. It is a fun place with a great and friendly staff. This is co-owned by the Savoy Society bar and they are their own place for sure. Zach was my bartender and was a great conversationalist. The drinks are well made and their intent during the Martini happy hour is to ensure people aren't afraid of martini's. Weds is their pizza night so their normal menu is not available. They play vinyl records for their music and it really creates a cool ambiance and vibe. The location is easy to get to in Habersham Village and I think if your looking for a cool, local, and friendly bar this is for you. I will bring local and out of town friends here for the experience. It really is a fun place and I'm glad I've been and looking forward to coming back again and often.

Yelp
Love the cool and casual ambience and food! The meals burst with flavor. The service was kind and efficient.

Yelp
Went last night and was less than impressed. I've been a few times for their drinks but never food. I ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo and my friend the chorizo meatball sandwich. It's insane to me that the pasta dish was over 20 dollars and I felt I could've made a more flavorful meal at home. Really could've used some fresh Parmesan and cracked black pepper because overall it was extremely bland. Despite ordering a sandwich my friend received a bowl with two mystery meatballs not tasting or resembling chorizo whatsoever and not even in sandwich form they gave us the meatball appetizer. If you must go for food get tapas. Crazy to buy a 10+ dollar drink in a strip mall adjacent to a Walgreens and sports grill but what do I know?

Yelp
A great place my friend and I went to on a Wednesday evening. What I loved the most was the ambiance and really the orangish hue of the lightning that mimicked the sun setting or "golden hour". We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were quick to take our order and get us our drinks; shout-out to warren for exceptional service. I forgot to get pictures of our drinks but I ordered an espresso martini and it was very refreshing and was not over powering. The food selection was also interesting as the menu is small but it definitely gives an opportunity to refine and perfect the dishes that are on the menu, which they did. Pizza slices had wonderful crisp crust and was not cold when served. The bolognese was also very delicious and it came with a side of fresh mozzarella. Overall, a wonderful evening out and I highly recommend this place for a date night or just somewhere to talk over drinks.

Yelp
Very friendly staff serving up great cocktails. I didn't get a chance to try the food but I will return based on the staff alone.

Yelp
Really liked the vibe of this place. Had a turntable and actually played records on it. Had the crab ravioli and flatbread. Both were tasty but the ravioli simply melted in your mouth. Drinks were good as well. I had the Sex at Savoy.

Yelp
Went in yesterday for the first and last time. Staff member goes out of their way to be smug and rude, leaving a bad taste for my four top. Speaking of bad taste, your 5 year old could make their food. Pretentious place, instead of C&L, it should be called CYL, Cut Your Losses. The cocktails were good though and there are a couple of nice bartenders to cover for the unfortunate punk who thinks he owns the spot.

Alan G.

Yelp
Boring, boring, boring. The new bar/restaurant in the BarFood space is dreary. Seating is uncomfortable. Unfriendly bartenders and service personnel, slow deadly boring music. Customers were playing Gin Rummy to entertain themselves. If you are depressed and want to wallow in self-pity this is the bar for you. Drinks were good.

Yelp
Not only the sister location of my favorite bar in Savannah, but also a whole new favorite. Vibes immaculate. The staff are all sexy and knowledgeable of all the goods to give you the hottest and best evening ever. If you aren't a colleague or a lover... what even are you? missing out
