Collective - Review - Kennington - London - The Infatuation
"Every morning at this Kennington Park cafe feels like the weekend. There's something about the white picket fence that surrounds Collective—and the fact that it suddenly comes into view, beyond fluffy trees, like a fairy tale cottage—that just melts stress. We like to sit outside, by the thick wooden counter that looks out over the park. Because watching this many dogs tumble about while drinking a good-quality hot chocolate is a dopamine hit we usually don't get until Saturday. The pastries are pretty decent, but really they're an accessory to your wholesome morning and the feel-good scene, rather than the main reason to go here.

Such a stunning cafe in the cutest park! Love how dog friendly it is and kind everyone was from staff to the other customers. I got a tea and brownie and wrote in my sketchbook and felt so cozy. Then we played ball after. Can’t wait to go back for the pizza!

Delightful Sourdough pizza at Collective. I had a Napolitana and it was how you would hope for from such an establishment and arguably more reflective of the kind of pizza which may be bought in a specialist sourdough pizza restaurant rather than a hit within a park with other offerings (including high quality ice cream).
There were no dips on the menu but upon asking I was given a choice of either chili or garlic oil to have wirh my pizza. I opted for the garlic oil and this too was high quality and hydrated my crusts adequately for me to enjoy them more than I would have without this being the case.
As this establishment offers pizza for both eat in and takeaway, and is situated within Kennington park, I opted to takeaway my pizza and sit on the grass within view of the restaurant where I was able to drink a San Miguel which had been purchased from a nearby shop.
Service was friendly and amenable, I would not hesitate to return or recommend Collective to anyone in search of Pizza in the Kennington area.

Wonderful park cafe with mouth-watering, organic, sourdough pizzas, homemade pastries, bread & great coffee. Taken over by a lovely, young local family a few years back who do all the baking on the premises. Beautiful (& historic - Chartists) park views, the warmest, friendliest staff, highly recommended!

My favourite local pizza place! The staff are always super great and sociable, they've been a lovely touch point through a tough year. I think the pizzas are fantastic, well made, flavoursome and speedy. I have had so many on the park, to take away etc and really I'll keep recommending them as they haven't disappointed yet. Well done for being such a wonderful business and really being quite the cornerstone to Kennington through these months.

Very sweet and low key breakfast/brunch and coffee place in the middle of Kennington Park. There are lots of families, but also remote workers and couples flock to their terrace to grab a pastry or a drink, especially during a sunny day. Also suitable for children and dogs.

Best, best bread & butter pudding EVER! Lovely little cafe in the park, always seems popular. I popped in for a tea and treated myself to a bit of bread & butter pudding - I think made from the left over pastries, as it had little pops of flavours along with a crispy top and warming cinnamon. Lovely surprise, thanks
