I could not Beleive, in the year of our Lord 2025, a hot quality breakfast for two could be served to our table for under $30. The price is the most shocking thing about the whole menu when you take into account how GOOD the food is, how fast it came to the table, and how FRIENDLY the server was. The interior was decorated in a fall ombre of colors and was the perfect ending to our amazing weekend away from the city. Could not recommend enough to someone

Colleen's Kitchen --- ✅ Highlights - Homestyle comfort food with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. - Friendly, welcoming atmosphere with a cozy, neighborhood vibe. - Great breakfast and brunch options, especially their pancakes and omelets. - Attentive and warm service. --- 👎 Considerations - Limited dinner menu; mainly breakfast and lunch-focused. - Can be busy during peak hours, so expect a wait without reservations. --- 🎯 Overall Colleen's Kitchen is a go-to spot for hearty, comforting meals in a relaxed setting. Ideal for casual breakfasts or lunch with friends or family. Rating: 4 / 5

I stumbled upon Colleen's Kitchen by chance after missing my exit and taking a wrong turn, and I’m so glad I did! This charming little restaurant in a small-town setting turned out to be a delightful surprise. The cozy vibes of the place made me feel right at home the moment I walked in. I ordered the corned beef hash with a Belgian waffle, and it was hands down one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The hash was perfectly crispy, and the waffle was light and fluffy, made even better by the rich, local New Hampshire maple syrup—just heavenly! You can tell that Colleen, the owner and cook, pours her heart into every dish. I also had the pleasure of meeting Colleen’s husband, Steve, who was helping out and adding to the family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The waitress, Tara, was such a sweetheart—attentive and friendly, she made sure I had everything I needed. What started as a wrong turn led me to this hidden gem. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Colleen's Kitchen for a warm, home-cooked meal and a cozy, small-town experience. I know I’ll be back every time I come to visit this area!

The food was incredible. I ate way too much! The homemade banana bread French toast is a must try! Staff was very welcoming and friendly and very gracious about the fact that I had to run to the nearby ATM since they're cash only.

My husband throughly enjoyed his meal, however what sets this place over the edge was the staffing. Both waitresses were extremely kind, but Steve he was extremely thoughtful. i was sitting outside with my little dog, waiting for my husband to have breastfast, and he asked me if my dog liked bacon- of course he does! he brought out my little pup an egg (made to his liking) and a piece of bacon. i know it sounds so little but it meant a lot to us. thank you for being so kind, and we will definitely be back!!

This place is the best of the best..... The owners there have been in the customer service industry for years and it shows. 3 eggs over easy, 2 orders of bacon, home fries and toast with extra butter !! The Cholesterol Special"

While traveling with my sister, her 6 year old son and my 6 and 3 year old children, we stopped in to Colleen's. The kids were a bit out of control, but this did not stop the staff from being kind and welcoming. The food was amazing, and Colleen even stopped over to ask how things were. This was such an incredible experience for us all, and my son even said that his waffle was "the most delicious waffle ever in the world" - wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Yelp
Saw on fb new breqkfast place opened in Ashland. We tried it. Entering, we immediately noticed they remodeled and lightened everything up. Decorated in a country motif. The kitchen is visible and new and clean. The waitress was very nice and was prompt with everything. I had the western omlet which was very good. Veggies still crunchy. His breakfast was over easy eggs with ham, and he enjoyed it. Coffee had refills and good. Menu items were good along with the prices. Only suggestion was to have a sampler meal, ie, pancake, eggs, meat, beans and potatoes. Our bill came out to 26.52, very reasonable. They also has specials on the board. What sold me on this diner was an elderly man left his lab in his truck and when cook saw that she cooked bacon for the dog!!! First time seeing that. The waitresscame over several times offering coffee and checking how we were doing. We will be back!!!!

Yelp
Ehhhh. Bakery breakfast items, ftench toasts etc very good. The eggs bfast and potatoes are bland and taste like they have been sitting on the grill for hrs, old and greasy. Serve fresh please!!! Give it one more try, be third. Raisin toast tastes like store bought n white toast also cheap. Up your game people, your a new establishment in Ashland!

Yelp
Newly opened breakfast spot in Ashland, NH on Main Street. Quaint, clean, small place (around 20 seats). Basic New England breakfast menu (eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, pancakes and waffles). Great service, good food, friendly staff. Highly recommend! CASH Only!!
