I stumbled upon Colleen's Kitchen by chance after missing my exit and taking a wrong turn, and I’m so glad I did! This charming little restaurant in a small-town setting turned out to be a delightful surprise. The cozy vibes of the place made me feel right at home the moment I walked in.
I ordered the corned beef hash with a Belgian waffle, and it was hands down one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The hash was perfectly crispy, and the waffle was light and fluffy, made even better by the rich, local New Hampshire maple syrup—just heavenly! You can tell that Colleen, the owner and cook, pours her heart into every dish.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Colleen’s husband, Steve, who was helping out and adding to the family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The waitress, Tara, was such a sweetheart—attentive and friendly, she made sure I had everything I needed.
What started as a wrong turn led me to this hidden gem. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Colleen's Kitchen for a warm, home-cooked meal and a cozy, small-town experience. I know I’ll be back every time I come to visit this area!
