One of the top Sri Lankan food. The chef takes time to say hello to the table once food arrives on your table. And also got a chance to meet the owners of the place. Very humble. The food reminds the proper traditions and ethos of home cooking and simple. Will visit again to explore the menu.

The egg hopper was so good. The lamb breast and fried okra were also delicious. Mango papaya salad was good. Mango lassi was a good drink

We had a double birthday celebration in the family, and wanted to have an authentic Sri Lankan meal. We were not disappointed. We had hoppers to start with. They were light, crispy and delicious! Next we had seafood fried rice, crab curry, aubergine moju, cashews curry and fish ambul thiyal. Each dish was delicately spiced and cooked to perfection. We also had their signature kithhul cheesecake and chocolate biscuit pudding for dessert. All in all, a lovely meal, and topped by great, friendly service by Keshara.

I’ve passed by this restaurant countless times over the past year, and I had become familiar with the friendly face of the person who always stood at the entrance smiling warmly, holding the menu, and inviting me in each time I walked by. Somehow, I never had the chance to stop in. But tonight, on my way home from work, he greeted me again with the same welcoming smile, and this time I simply couldn’t resist. I finally decided to give the place a try and I’m so glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious, and I honestly regret not accepting his invitations sooner. I also learned his name this evening: Dinu. Thank you, Dinu, for your wonderful service and for making my first experience at Colombo Kitchen such a memorable one.

Such incredible food... I hired Colombo Kitchen to cater for an event I did at the National Archives, we ordered the Lamprais for 20 people which was exquisite... Not only that, but they went above and beyond to get the food over to us on time after I'd made a mistake about the timings. I called and they sent it in an uber right away an hour earlier than I'd originally asked... amazing service, really responsive and more importantly, fantastic food. Everyone who ate the Lamprais commented on how delicious it was. Couldn't recommend more highly :)

Ordered egg hopper, chicken kothu and lump rice. Chicken kothu was ok but for me it needed a bit of more salt. The egg hopper was amazing. The best lump rice we ever had in the UK which has original Sri Lankan taste. We had some juice and its was also good. I only give 4 stars because of the chicken kothu. The atmosphere was amazing lots of British guys enjoyed their food.

Feeling ripped off. I love this restaurant, so we ordered take away. Dishes were restaurant prices. Quantity was so stingy. £14 for chicken curry with 6 cubes of chicken. The prawns and fish were £17 each. Shocking!!
