"You won’t find fideo on every Mexican restaurant menu across Los Angeles, but that’s okay — it just makes the trip to Colonia Publica in Whittier all the more special. Chef Ricardo Diaz is doing strong bowls of the home cooking favorite, a sort of Mexican take on ramen that includes noodles, meat, chicharrones, and whatever else you want to include." - Farley Elliott, Eater Staff

I love the tacos. My favorite are the pork belly and cauliflower tacos. They've got delicious sopa de fideo. You can customize it with your add ons. The service is great, too. They have tasty Micheladas and the cocktails are good too!

If you are someone who loves a good bowl of Fidello I guarantee you will not be disappointed when you come check this place out! We were able to get additions such as Avocado, a fried Egg, Queso Fresco, cilantro and Sour Cream to name a few. 10/10!

Came the for the sopita de fideo you basically get to pick from a list of ingredients to add to it and it was yummy. They have creative miche options but the best one for me was the Roja.

Had dinner there recently with my family and we were all pleased with the food and service. And the pricing was reasonable. We all agreed that we would be returning to try more of their dishes. We tried the Fideo, the Pork Belly Tacos, and the Mushroom Quesadilla. All were winners but the pork belly tacos were especially impressive.

First Off Customer Service Is Great, And Friendly. Went For Lunch. Got Myself A Torta De Asada Which I Didn't Take A Picture Of, But Is Really Good. Tacos De Papa, And Tostadas De Ceviche. Wait Time Is Fair With All This "Covid-19" Going On. I Definitely Recommend This Place.

The bar was small, maybe 5 or 6 chairs. They should rearrange the bar supplies, as it takes away from the bar's ambiance (see photo). The place where they store the supplies makes it look like a fast food joint. The food looked good but I only had guac n chips, but it also came with chipotle black bean dip. Very yummy!😋

Did not disappoint once more. Brought babe because he was under the weather but also hung over and he loved the soup! For me it was the pork belly tacos and michelada flight! Very interesting flavors!

Customizing your own sopa de fideo is the greatest idea ever! Broth is so delicious and perfect for any day! Tacos de Ceviche are amazing and Michelada choices are even better! Must try! Loved the dark relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. Definitely coming back!
