"In 1935, the original Colony Grill opened in an Irish immigrant neighborhood in Stamford, Connecticut. The brand debuted in Clarendon last fall, bringing “hot oil” bar-style pizzas to the Northern Virginia nightlife district. Colony Grill pays tribute to its Irish roots with a thin-crust pizza topped with corned beef and cabbage ($13.45). Available Friday, March 12 to Wednesday, March 17, from 11:30 a.m. until closing." - Tierney Plumb

"Virginia allows full-capacity indoor dining as long as tables maintain social distancing. For those looking for a different view than their living rooms, Colony Grill in Arlington will be showing the game on all four of its 60-inch televisions. The pizza parlor, serving crunchy thin crust bar pies, will also provide large order delivery for Arlington residents (10 diners or more)." - Vinciane Ngomsi

Best pizza ever(for me). Never thought I would like a salad pizza but ended up loving it and their cheese pizza with stingers is my all time favorite..

Street parking was very hard to find- how ever there is a parking garage for this building. The cost for parking was $7.00 you have had to pay the meter anyway. This also a great spot if you are a new york rangers fan. The local dc rangers fan club meet up here during playoffs. Great atmosphere and staff. AS ALWAYS LETS GO RANGERS

Nice, relaxing place to have a meal, especially pizza. I loved that they had Gluten free pizzas! Great flavor, fair prices and great service.

Even though I looked at the menu online before I went, it was still surprising to sit down in a nice brick and mortar restaurant with table service and the menu literally has one item… pizza. There’s no sides or other options, no size choices. You’re getting a 12 inch pizza or you’re not eating food here. Just pick your choice of toppings. That being said, I went there for pizza and I was completely satisfied! I had hot oil (hot as in spicy made from peppers) and pepperoni and it was delicious. Super thin crust was perfect because thin crust is best crust. If you want a 12 inch thin crust pizza, this is the place to go. If you want literally anything else, you’ll be SOL. But please go because the pizza is so yummy!

Good pizza! I like crispy, so I'll try well-done next time. Like the hot oil. Excellent service and staff was very friendly!

The pizza is different than anything I've had before, but it is excellent in it's own right. Went to watch the rangers playoff game and the crowd was great, as was the service.

From the moment you step into Colony Grill, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. Located in Arlington, Virginia, this spot has quickly become a favorite of mine. The pizza is the star of the show here - thin crust, perfectly charred, and topped with an array of fresh and high-quality ingredients. The signature 'hot oil' pizza is a must-try, offering a unique and tantalizing flavor that keeps you coming back for more. The service at Colony Grill is nothing short of exceptional. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely seems to enjoy what they do, which makes a tremendous difference in the overall dining experience. The ambiance is casual yet charming, making it the perfect spot for anything from a family dinner to a casual date night. Cleanliness is also clearly a priority here, which is always appreciated. In a city filled with dining options, Colony Grill stands out for its quality food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through Arlington, I highly recommend a visit to Colony Grill. It's more than just a meal, it's an experience.

Wasn’t a fan of the pizza… barely any tomato sauce, the crust was ok, pepperonis were paper thin, and barely any sausage. The staff were nice though.
