Colony Square is one of my favorite places to go for cool sights and good food. It's located in a busy and exciting area of Midtown Atlanta. It's popular for travelers and offers so much for the whole family to enjoy. The great variety of restaurants are curated to suit a diverse palette.

Google
Never knew colony square exited till I was on a hunt for a quick grub. Searched for Chick fil a in my google map & pops up Colony square. This area is such a chill spot to just unwind. There’s a lawn area with plenty of seatings & other outdoor seatings. Most of their restaurant are family owned. There’s also sit down restaurants. Second time around here. Lovely spot!

Google
Love the environment of Colony Square. Great restaurants and activities. Also close to piedmont park if you want to go for a walk.

Nice vibes with variety of eateries. They all look great.

Google
TERRIBLE customer service. Our parking pass was taken by an employee while in the shops and scanned and we were informed we would be good to leave. When leaving, the parking garage we were then informed without the ticket we would have to pay $90. We paid the $90, it stated approved and it was taken from my bank. We called for help and were told we would not be let out unless we paid this for a second time. We had to pay OVER $180 TO LEAVE. Absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional.

I liked the scenery, the people, and the services but not the sudden rainstorm. Can't control the weather though.

Google
This is a modern food court area, which also features a theater and a lovely green lawn where you can relax and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere during your weekend. The location is excellent, and if you make a purchase at any of the restaurants within the food court, your parking will be validated, making it a truly convenient experience.

Google
I visited Rumi at Colony Square this Mother’s Day and it was such a treat! The food was incredibly flavorful — every bite was rich, fresh, and beautifully spiced. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, perfect for a special occasion without feeling too formal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything from the appetizers to the main course felt thoughtfully prepared. A wonderful place to celebrate and savor. Highly recommend for anyone looking for elevated Persian cuisine in a beautiful setting. I’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Big complex. Directories are located at the main courtyard entrance. Lots of shops, restaurants, fast casual eats, coffee and businesses too.

Yelp
I've lived and worked in Atlanta for decades and somehow have never been down to Colony Square. What a special vibe this place has. Amazing buildings and architecture and design throughout. Several great restaurants and eating areas and places to meet. I highly recommend this for a lunch spot or to simply walk around and enjoy.

Yelp
A nice vibe. Stopped through here to get some food and a drink. Since it was raining earlier it wasn't super crowded. We got food at the Caribbean spot then got drinks from the bar. I chose a glass of Prosecco. Can't go wrong with that! The music was on point. No live dj but the playlist was hitting. Parking was $18 for 2 hours because something was going on at the movie theater. Madness!

Yelp
I love the vibe at Colony Square! It's a short walk away from Arts Center MARTA station. I've dropped here a few times to meet up with friends for dinner and drinks. There are a variety of restaurants and bars, and tons of outdoor seating. Occasionally, there are also events on the Square, including free yoga in the summer. The architecture inside Politan Square is awesome! The only downside about this place is that food is expensive. Most of the entrees I've had were mediocre, including bubble tea.
google avatar

Shani H.

Yelp
Great spot in midtown. They have lots of events on the outdoor patio from skating to Halloween parties. It right off the Arts Center stop on the train so its easily accessible. I also love the vast dining options in the area. Definitely recommended for an easy night out.

Yelp
Luco's pizza sucks. ordered a simple Margarita pizza. The guy taking my order seemed off or drunk. waited 30 minutes. walked over and asked about my pizza. The General Manager was like maam Injust got here and don't know what happened. I will get you this pizza. was very rude. Go somewhere else if you go there.

Yelp
Super cute area. Lots of food and nice wall art . If you in to like photos or just Aesthetic it's def a vibe . They have fire pits in the middle area that are good for seating if 4 and you can have drinks , read a book , or just chill and people watch (one of my favorite things to do lol ) . It's def a vibe . It's connected to a really nice food court as well but a more modern food court than what you would think of inside like a mall. Anddddd it's connected to a beautiful hotel . Honestly there is so much to do you could spend your whole day here especially if you are staying at the hotel and kind of want to stay low key .

Yelp
Arrived here Sunday morning before meeting up with friends and there was so much going on I convinced my friends to join me there. With lots of delicious food options (I had the jerk chicken which was delicious!), a live dj playing hip-hop and Latin music to drag bingo happening outside. I'll definitely be back to enjoy the other food options

Yelp
Colony Square is totally revamped and revitalized from what it used to be! It underwent a complete facelift and now it looks unrecognizable in a good way. There are brand new restaurants and shops lining the perimeter of the square and a spacious, grassy courtyard located in the center. The courtyard is a nice gathering space and a good place to bring your pets. Several brand new, classy restaurants have opened in Colony Square including: Rumi's Kitchen, Serena Pastificio, Saints + Council and more. The food court here has every kind of international cuisine available and an awesome DJ playing on weekends. It was like a nightclub food court in the middle of a Sunday afternoon. Check it out!

Yelp
I call Colony Square an adult playground, instead of juice boxes and swings, you have swinging lounge chairs and cocktails. They recently opened up their food hall to the public. Some food vendors include yom, pretty little tacos, bun mi, and tandoori. You can also find Caribbean food, burgers, and Neapolitan pizza. There's a bit of something for everyone. A lot of people seem to hover and gravitate towards tacos for their birria tacos and dipping sauce, so the area could get a bit congested there. Food comes out fairly quickly upon placing your order though. There is a bar area in the center which is an awesome centerpiece to the venue but also gets congested. Their bartenders seemed stress, but it was their opening weekend so they had a lot of people to tend to. There's a stage area outside of the food hall which is cool too. Towards the back of the food hall is a photo booth where you can email yourself the photos for free! This was sweet. There's plentiful seating and standing tables so you can always find some place to relax. Definitely a cool date spot or spot to hang with friends.

Yelp
I love coming here. So many different food places to try. The food court is elegant & chic! Super cute hang out spot. The iPic movie theater is located in the middle. The food court isn't quiet, so if you're looking to focus specifically on work, it may not be the best spot. Only downside is, the "Space" Charges you to sit inside of their lounge to do work. That sucks to put a place like that in the middle of colony square & then require a membership to enter. There are free working areas outside in the common area & food court. I just really liked the Space, but I didn't have a membership to connect to wifi & do work.

Yelp
Very poor communication and installation on product that has been paid in full but no service at all just recordings no answers

Yelp
It is a really cool place to hang out to grab drinks and food/movie but I have one form of advice. DO NOT LOSE YOUR PARKING TICKET! If you lose your parking ticket they charge you 90$ to get out of the parking structure. RIP OFF and extremely excessive!!

Yelp
10/10 dining, retail, + events! Would always recommend ATL natives and visitors visit this amazing property!

Yelp
Loved it. So many great restaurants I want to try. Very clean, lovely, great service with a smile everywhere. Parking on side streets was easy. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This is such a hidden gem in Atlanta! Colony square has a whole bunch of dining places, and it's a clean and modern indoor/outdoor dining and shopping area! There's also a movie theater. This is a very fun place to walk around and explore.

Yelp
I arrived at Colony Square and dropped my car off at Colony Square's valet service at 5:50 pm on a Saturday. They parked my car into the garage on the first level aka the red level near section G6. I was at Colony Square for a few hours and returned to valet at 10:45 pm to pick up my car. The valet let me know there had been an incident and that my car was damaged. My car's front bumper was on the ground. At no point did they call me to alert me when they discovered the damage, which they claimed to had happen at 6:30 pm, which makes me believe that they are responsible for damaging my car. They offered no help, refused to take responsibility, and quickly left the scene. There was an off-duty police officer on site who called dispatch but Atlanta Police Department never arrived, so I filed a police report online. I got my car towed out of the garage via my auto insurance. As my claim adjuster is investigating, they told me that the valet manager claims that my car was damaged because it was parked on the street. However the manager was not even present/working that day, and I have photo evidence that my car was parked inside of the garage next to the valet parking area signage. F*** the valet staff and the manager, Kevin Walls, for trying to lie to cover their own behinds. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am currently working on a lawsuit.

Yelp
Decided to explore the city ( after 10 years, I'm still exploring) and venture to Colony Square. I love how they have added to this location. It is a great place to bring family and friends and just relax. The food options are nice, restrooms are clean ( major key) and there are lots of sitting options. I really like the projector screens that have on the lawn to watch games or movies they have playing at the time. It kinda gives you the feel of the renovations they've made at Atlantic Station. If you're looking for something to do that's family abs dog friendly definitely check out colony square.
google avatar

Malav G.

Yelp
One of the worse parking situations. I can go to Atlantic Station for free, and other places to park for free. What's the point of this. You're spending $10 on parking minimum for a good 2 hours, plus food and activities. Absolutely bonkers. Food is also over priced for what it is. I'd rather go another chill place, and Atlanta has many in midtown. You have other places that validate parking, and for similar or better dining experiences. The reason for comparing Atlantic Station, is that they are similar in location and in population. Both have good food options and without a doubt there's ample space at Atlantic station. It's crazy to think that just to park there is expensive and then to spend more money which isn't justified by all the food and activity options. Just go anywhere else and you'll probably have more fun than Colony Square.
google avatar

Airiel J.

Yelp
Dope vibes, great food, beautiful people! I love it here!!! Putting with friends or date night this should be on your list!
google avatar

Jay G.

Yelp
Be prepared to spend some money for parking. I visited this location on a Sat. Had no idea the Square was even there even after visiting a restaurant at the same location. Great spot to go to get out of the house and enjoy the city. Parking can be time consuming. They have two entrance for self parking on 5th and 14th and they also offer valet. The food court is really nice with indoor and out door seating. Many restaurants to choose from. I ate at Rumi Kit hen and stopped by Jojo's Beloved for drinks. Rumi provided parking validation but still paid for parking when leaving $22.00. Make sure to pay attention to where you park can be a little confusing in the parking decks.

Brad G.

Yelp
Predatory parking fees. We met up with friends for dinner at a restaurant at Colony Square and ended up misplacing our parking ticket (our fault and something we shouldn't have done). However, despite the restaurant validating our parking (via license plate), the parking garage would not honor it. Security told us it would be $90 for a lost ticket and hung up on us when we explained we had only been there for 2 hours. $25 for a lost ticket? No problem. $90 is so predatory it's laughable. This is not reasonably affordable for most people and makes it clear what kind of business Colony Square is.
google avatar

Brooks P.

Yelp
It's a great concept but has a lot of flaws. Took clients to look at a place here in Colony House and when we left I went to get my receipt and the door shut in front of me. I had to pay sixty six dollars for a "lost ticket" - I literally tried calling everyone and couldn't get a hold of anyone. After leaving a comment on their Facebook, they said they would reach out that day - they still haven't. Cmon now, Colony Square!
google avatar

Ruchi G.

Yelp
Check out the pizza and charcuterie board. This was the small size ( which was plenty of food for 3 people). Beautifully done and delicious!

Susan T.

Yelp
Parking $22. Almost all restaurants are a disappointment. The one that's decent is very expensive-$35 for a single lamb kebob. The Starbucks is great-Josh is wonderful, greeting all returning customers by name and so friendly. Loud awful music in the food court and inexplicably an open bar in the center is just wierd: This is not a dining destination when parking is $22 and who drinks at their work lunch hour for co-workers to see? Upsides? A nice furnished outdoor gathering area. Outdoor concerts. Kept very tidy. Interesting artwork. But this Colony Square is not nearly as cool as the super cool Colony Square of the early eighties with the Peasant Group's Country Place restaurant and the ice skating rink and AIA with exhibits and the wonderful lobby of Colony Square at Happy Hour.
google avatar

Dej C.

Yelp
I love this whole atmosphere this place gives. They do yoga on the rooftop grass area, they have great restaurants in this cute cafeteria style, and they have a hotel connected to it that has a chic retro type style. I love it I love it I love it ! We come here all the time. PLUS how could I forget they have a full service bar that makes the best cocktails.
google avatar

Bruce B.

Yelp
As a service provider, Colony Square has had no consideration of my need to retain my profitable status. I come there on business, not to shop, and am given no option but to pay for parking, or spend money for validation. I am a delivery driver, and because Colony Square cannot survive without charging me parking fees as I facilitate profit for it's business residents, my only option is to scratch them off my list. Until Colony Square can help us help them, I will not accept jobs there. It's totally asinine. I'm pretty sure other vendors aren't paying parking fees, why are we any different?
google avatar

Dwayne X.

Yelp
Great Date night.. food, drinks, movies, or just relaxing on grounds. I love this place. Zaddy's is my favorite. Fresh soups, sandwiches and more.. healthy eating. My new go too place.
google avatar

Jeremy D.

Yelp
This place used to be sketchy and horrible and had a big glow up. It's fine now. Not much to do aside from eat. I sure wish Atlanta would get some good retail.
google avatar

Ashleigh K.

Yelp
I always enjoy visiting colony square. Not too many people know about it somehow. It's typically pretty quite in my opinion for how great it is. There is a food court area with indoor and outdoor seating and a giant bar in the middle. When I say food court I don't mean like a mall it is very upscale with unique food vendors. Outside they have a movie area and during the winter they even had a ice skating rink. The parking here is easy and has green lights to show you what spots are available to park in. However, this is paid parking rather then free. Some places will validate the parking if you ask such as the movie theatre.

Chad J.

Yelp
They decided that designating a "section" for people with service dogs was OK and that "section" was outside. Last week it was in the 20s. The code requires that people with service animals are accommodated. In case they don't know, this is the code: The service animal must be permitted to accompany the individual with a disability to all areas of the facility where customers are normally allowed to go. An individual with a service animal may not be segregated from other customers. DO NOT GO HERE.

Katrina C.

Yelp
Cristian was amazingly helpful! Highly recommend looking for hiM when you are here ! He's the best

Yelp
My first time at the Colony Square and what a quality and inviting area. I was here for Yoga in the park. The MIDTOWN sign is so creative and inviting. I instantly wanted to take pictures to show I was there. It's a nice area to just go chill after work and soak up the active atmosphere. I'm excited about returning and enjoying some of the restaurants in the surrounding area. I was able to park on the street and walk to my destination which made it easy to site see and no parking fees!! If your ever in the area on a Wednesday day join the Yoga group right by the Midtown sign you wound be disappointed and it's also a free event. Thank me later

David M.

Yelp
A group of friends met at Colony Square to dine on Saturday night. On our way to leave we were trapped in the parking garage for an hour and a half! It was a bumper-to-bumper traffic jam in a parking deck. If anyone had an emergency, they would have been out of luck! My friend's left their car and took an Uber home. I was not driving so I walked to the exit and asked one of the attendants about the situation. He said one of the exits was out-of-order. I told him that none of the attendants were directing traffic and no one in line were informed of the situation. I told him we had been in line for over an hour. Could they just not open the gates and let the trapped people out? He said he was not able to make that decision. (Probably because they were charging $22 per car to park there). Greed gets in the way of customer's convenience and safety. Thank you Colony Square Parking for making our dinner on the town a nightmare. This is a crowded, poorly run establishment and I will not be returning.
google avatar

Robin S.

Yelp
Solid food court. If I worked here or in the area, I'd be happy with the lunch options. Parking can be an issue. I've come here a few times to see a financial advisor. One time I trolled the garage for quite a while before finding a spot. Two times, the validation system didn't function properly so I paid full price. This last time, I chose to park in the High parking garage instead (I was going to the museum afterwards and didn't want to deal with the Colony's garage).

Eric B.

Yelp
I discovered this place for myself a month ago. I've been there 3 times. Each time I ordered food from different vendors. Each time there has been something off putting about the food. The first two times it was an obvious lack of skill. My naan pizza and gluten-free hamburger both tasted like I had gotten them from GT cafeteria, the former poor quality ingredients and poorly put together, the latter an insanely overcooked beef patty. Yesterday, I went to the King of Pops and got their soft serve ice cream, which was obviously rancid. It tasted liked moldy, spoiled milk. The attendant agreed, after sampling some himself. Strangely, he asked me if I wanted something else, thinking he was also going to give me a refund. He gave me no refund and only gave me something that cost $2 less than the $6 soft serve. I didn't want to make a scene over $2, which does seem to be the nature of Colony Square businesses. All three businesses I've tried and mentioned have incompetent staff and seem to take everything for granted. They are as spoiled as the food they all serve. This place is a tourist trap and I would avoid buying anything there in the future.

Yelp
Colony Square is one of those places in my neighborhood that I visit infrequently, but I'm sure glad it's there. Within walking distance of my home, it houses a large Suntrust Bank branch - my bank of choice - along with a gym, myriad dining establishments, a convenience store, and lots of shopping kiosks peddling various wares. During the week the joint gets packed during the lunch rush, as various offices pour into the space for a fast casual meal to be enjoyed at one of the cozy tables inside or taken to go for the al fresco experience. Fun fact: there's a significant piece of art hanging in the large central area of Colony Square -- an Alexander Calder painting. Enjoy!
google avatar

Yancy T.

Yelp
$22 for lunch. $22 for parking. Coloney Square parking considers 2 hours and 50 minutes "overnight parking. Insane (and should be criminal). Great lunch at Establishment though.
google avatar

Jane E.

Yelp
I read over a few of the reviews and it's mixed, but mostly low for people who visit and use parking. If you're local/live nearby like me you like it, Like another reviewer mentioned "it's a place I visit infrequently, but I'm glad its there". It's home to several restaurants and mainly offices. It's not really a mall, it's more like a food court with offices and a luxury hotel attached - W Hotel. I like it because it has free wifi, so it's an additional place to go and do work in which I don't feel obligated to buy a coffee or drink. It's also a nice place to send people who are intown visiting. I haven't utilized the parking but I know some places like the gym covers parking for up to 2 hours.
google avatar

Paige N.

Yelp
This is a cool little food court I didn't know existed until today that's right across the street from my office building. Although the Colony Square doesn't look like much from the outside, it's hiding a bevy of decent lunch spots within its walls. My co-workers wanted to grab lunch and we wanted to enjoy some of the spring weather that's finally come, so they decided a trip over to Colony Square was in order. Inside the food court (which is much larger than you'd first think) are options like: Tin Drum, Moe's, a Mediterranean food place (appropriately run by Koreans), Goldberg's Deli, a crepe and salad restaurant, Chik-fil-A, Starbucks, a little newspaper / snack stand, and a couple of out of place stores like a chiropractor, a tailor, etc. Plus, the ever-present kiosks peddling sundresses, homemade jewelry, wine bottle holders and other miscellaneous tchotchkes. There's some indoor seating in the middle between all of the store fronts, but it's a little dark and not particularly inviting, so we got our orders to go instead. For convenience, price and speed, though this place does well. They've probably got a bang-up lunch crowd during the week and the variety of options to choose from is nice when you've forgotten to bring your lunch.

John S.

Yelp
$22 for parking for this filthy place, seriously do you think you're park ave NYC? I mean this parking lot smells like a dirty bathroom At lease fix the service first then you can charge whatever you please I will not park in there again
google avatar

isis m.

Yelp
This place gouges for parking $22/day is robbery! They overcharged me for an additional day and there was not a single person that I could speak with at the parking lot.
google avatar

Benjamin G.

Yelp
Finding a parking spot is just abysmal. I'd much rather find myself in this area on a bicycle. I was recently in the area for a few meetings and lunch and have to say that it isn't my jam. Once you make your way into the food court-ish area, there are some dependable, though lackluster options. I'm not really looking for a Moe's, Starbucks, or other quick-service places......kind of ever. It's busy as junk, too. People come out of the woodwork for lunch and meetings. It's the kind of place that is subservient to the office folk around it. Although, the hustle and bustle of this part of town can be a little intoxicating. Makes you feel like you're in NY crossing the street with a bunch of other business-y types. Pretty gnarly.
google avatar

Shellie C.

Yelp
I am a city of Atlanta resident and just met a friend for lunch at Colony Squares's The Establishment. When I left, I had to pay $22.00 for parking my car there! I was furious and felt robbed. I will never ever go to Colony Square again!
google avatar

Jeffrey I.

Yelp
I was hoping to go shopping there on a Saturday, and literally there was nothing there! What a waste of a space. No restaurants were open, no nothing! it's right next to the W Hotel, and I thought for sure I'd be able to buy a shirt, etc. But NO! And they are correct about the parking which sux! Not only do they charge you 22.00 after 2:50 hrs, but if you accidentally park past 11pm, you start the clock for a second day....For example, you can park there for literally 6 hours and your bill will be 44.00. That is awful. I will never stay at W Hotel again in Atlanta. I'll pick other places like Ga Tech Convention Center that is actually close to real shopping.

Kashmir M.

Yelp
Do Not Park Inside the Colony Square parking garage. There are no security cameras on the premises to monitor break-ins or crime inside the garage. On 9/6/2020 my car was broken into while parked inside the Colony Square garage while I stayed at The W midtown hotel. The security staff Terry although a little too late on the scene was helpful but once he referred me to management it was a different tone. Dominique was at first concerned but once I asked about checking with security for camera footage she changed her demeanor and tone. No one was empathetic from Dominique to Zack the OM who said it was out of their hands. I asked How so when the security property has the means and decision making power to Install more cameras to monitor the premises. Im sure my car won't be the last to get broken into but I plan to escalate this issue so that some type of light can be shown onto this unsafe, unmonitored garage. Imagine what other incidents have or could take place given the fact people know they can get away with crimes inside this garage.
google avatar

Beth B.

Yelp
This is prob really awesome if you work in the building. But since I don't. it's really not that great.. everything seems to close around 4, and not open during the weekends. I haven't ever been during the day but there are lots of restaurants and little shops there, just haven't ever caught them open. I do go to the gym here. It's nice.
google avatar

Katy M.

Yelp
Hey, I'm glad this place is here. I work just down the road and wind up eating here a LOT for lunch. After eating here once or twice a week for months on end, the food options do get sort of repetitive and boring, but that's probably on me for going here all the time! My usual spots in here: Blimpies, Moes, and Jaffa Cafe. They've got a JR Crickets in here if I'm there later at night, but I'm not a huge fan of their food. Even if we're going with a big group from work, seems like we can usually find a clean table with enough seats for everyone.
