Colors Urban Hotel Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki, Greece) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"If ever there were a boutique hotel that does exactly what it says on the label, it’s Colors Urban Hotel Thessaloniki. From the outside it’s a classic century-old city-center building, blending in tastefully to the historic cityscape. Inside, however, it’s a different story: a riot of, well, color, its 37 rooms never lacking for visual interest, whether that means ultra-saturated background colors, street art–inspired murals, or both. They range in size from the aptly named Medium Doubles to the very large King Suite, which comes with its own balcony, terrace, and outdoor jacuzzi." - Tablet Hotels

Really good stay. The staff were welcoming and polite, check in was easy and we got a room upgrade. The room itself was clean and bright, excellent air conditioning and the bed was comfortable. Had a good powerful shower. Excellent location, really close to the seafront and the Ladadika area with lots of restaurants and bars. There is a lift for taking your cases to rooms on higher floors. You can leave luggage if needed for a later departure. The only criticism would be that, as mentioned in previous reviews, the street noise is unusually loud. We managed to sleep through it, but really it was constant all through the night and do if you’re a light sleeper May need another option.

Nice hotel, well decorated, great center location. Here are the problems: - The room had some smell, probably because of the air humidity, once ac started and window opened it went away. - THERMOSTAT has 10 buttons, no instructions, all night I was turning on and off the AC. And yes somebody tried to set it up, didn't work -

We arrived early in the morning We were greeted by a guy whose name we unfortunately don't remember. He kindly took our suitcases for safekeeping, opened a map, showed us what to do in the area, and recommended. Amazing hotel, excellent service, the room was cleaned and tidied up every day. Sufficient and delicious breakfast. The hotel is on the main shopping street 15 minutes from the White Tower, less than ten minutes from the port. A 5-minute walk to the taverns to the right of the hotel. Highly recommend

The absolutely worse hotel experience I have had in my life and I have travelled all around the world. My room was basic and facing the tsimiski street which they like to call as "sea view" which is heavily obstructed and the sea is very far away. All in one soap dispensers in the shower are acceptable at a hostel not a 4 star hotel. Toilet paper dispensers that dispense 1 sheet of toilet paper at a time are acceptable at an airport bathroom not a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was basic AF. No croisants, only toast bread. Again not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast photos they have on their website are not accurate at least not at this time. An overall sense of a rundown hotel which was confirmed when the air conditioning broke down for the WHOLE hotel in the middle of a very hot June day. People were complaining at the reception. The manager was not at the hotel and I was told he will be back tomorrow ! And the inexperienced staff kept repeating that they are sorry but no word about compensation. I was robbed of my money . Go and read the BAD reviews. Obviously the positive reviews must be fake. It was daylight robbery.

Although the hotel was fairly good regarding the room facilities and the nice breakfast we were not able to sleep at night! There was a lot of noise coming from the street below. It was like we were sleeping on the street regarding the levels of noise! The windows were thin and wooden and didn’t seal so all the sounds from the street were coming in. We were on the second floor. They did provide earplugs in the room which proved they are aware of the issue. For a four star hotel it was very disappointing! We were visiting for an important chess tournament for my son and we didn’t get any sleep or proper rest the night before. We had to check out and find alternative accommodation in the morning. They didn’t compensate s in any way for the extra night we didn’t stay! Also the person on the chat that I complained about the hotel was very unhelpful and disregarding!||The room had a vent that worked all the time and made it cold even when turned off. The balcony they advertise they had was just a window door and was very dirty as was the ceiling that had a disgusting stain (see photos).

Grate location and nice crew. It is a very simple hotel close to everything in the main road. The crew was very helpful and they have an agreement with a parking lot about 200 meters for 10€ a day with is very important because there is no parking in the era. The room was very basic but we came to see places and not to be in the room so it was perfect for us.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, acting like every request was a burden. The beds were made of metal frames that squeaked with every movement and felt incredibly uncomfortable. The parking is not on site, it's about 200 meters away, and to make things worse — you have to pay for it! That should have been clearly stated in the listing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It felt dishonest and unwelcoming from start to finish, and definitely not worth the price.

A very well renovated hotel in the city center. Wise and humorous notes placed throughout the hotel. High ceilings are very good. Breakfast is excellent. Friendly and helpful staff
