Crazy P Colour Factory 15th August 2025 This was an absolute joy to catch up again with Jim & Chris. Love the short film clip of us together, I was 'persuading' the lovely lady in the red top to join us for a lol very grainy photo, this 'fan' had travelled all the way from Mexico for this gig! From day one I fell in love with Crazy P my first encounter was years back in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, there was no stage, with dear Danielle wearing a plastic raincoat right in with the crowd, yes singing in the pissing rain! BTW: Colour Factory what an ace venue! with just one main room ('Less is more') with fab extensive raised platforms and terrific views from the first floor gallery. Terrific reasonably priced bar and the outdoor garden is something else. Lovely 'no attitude' Rainbow friendly crowd and it never felt 'rammed' on the dance floor. Also BIG HIGH FIVE to this venue that I was able to dance barefoot (24/7 since March 2022) throughout, not all venues are so accommodating! Friendly bar staff AND security who had a presence that was very much 'in the background' a perfect balance.

Went for Fist Club queer cabaret wrestling and it was SO MUCH FUN. Performers were amazing, bar staff were great, atmosphere was off the charts. Really fun venue.

Not the best sound system. Also the wait time to enter was extremely long. However the crowd was friendly and the staff as well. Especially the bar staff. The venue is nice and somehow unique.

A buzzing bar in the middle of Hackney Wick. Great food selections via a virtual food hall - 4 stand alone menus. Cool tunes, relaxed vibes.

I didn't eat at Colour Factory. I went there to see bands as part of a label night. The venue was good for viewing & the security were ok. My only problem was the bar closed very early, before the main artist came on stage which I didn't understand as it was not a very late night show. I wasn't the only person who thought thus was odd & slightly inconvenient. Still, a good venue to see bands & the audio sound was good

Tinzo and JoJo, 12th September 2025- Easily accessible from hackney wick station, 2 minutes walk from the platform to the doors ID/security checks and were prompt and efficient, no waiting around or crowding, staff kept people informed well. Main cloakroom is based on lockers with a QR code which were fairly expensive but probably big enough for 2 or 3 people to share at a pinch Venue is beautifully old school, bars are London prices but.... it's in London. Nice to have outdoor areas but I spent almost all my time on the dancefloor- sound quality was okay where I was but will note other people stood different places had some complaints there. Toilets are a bit rudimentary but easily accessible and I never had to queue, so in that respect, for club toilets they were great Staff were absolutely lovely to deal with all night- there when you needed them but never in the way, friendly and chatty Absolutely would return, breath of fresh air compared with some of the larger clubs/venues that are entirely up themselves

I was really disappointed with how security handled my experience here. When I arrived, I had a small jade green box with me that was empty apart from some residual powder on it. Security checked me thoroughly, found no baggies or prohibited items on me, but still confiscated the box. I asked if it could simply be rinsed or cleaned (I even had water with me), but was refused and told I could collect it when I left. When I did leave, none of the security staff knew where my box was, and it had effectively gone missing. This was especially upsetting as the box was extremely valuable and very sentimental to me, as it belonged to a family member. The lack of communication and accountability from security was extremely poor, and it completely overshadowed what was otherwise a good event. I would expect much better handling of guests’ personal belongings. Security ought to be ashamed of themselves.
