Coltan Electronics

This store is an absolute scam! Why they have any 5 star reviews is absolutely nonsense. They won't allow you to return anything, not even 5 minutes after you buy it! They break laws with deceptive sales practices, misrepresentation, aggressive coercion, and exploit vulnerable consumers into buying things they don't need or can't afford. They use unfair, deceptive and abuse practices. Their salesmen are snakes, and they lie about every product and it's actual price and quality. When they get a bad enough brand reputation, they just change their brand name. They try to sell you a phone case for "a deal" @ $125, but it's not worth even $5 on Alibaba. Then they try to sell you "½ price" APEX headphones for $150 that aren't worth $10. These things are all knock-offs that break or don't work at all. They're junk! There is no warranty as they claim and they have no live customer service to assist you. Then they claim they have an APEX projector worth $5,000 that they'll sell you ½ price, but it's more junk and sold on Alibaba for $50 - $80. They'll show you fake listings on Amazon. No one on Amazon buys their junk for hundreds or thousands of dollars like they claim! It's an absolute scam and their salesmen are as shady as they come. I'm not sure how they sleep at night, nor do I understand why the Flamingo Hotel or MGM allow these scammers to rent their store space. They'll act all nice like they're giving you such a great deal and all sorts of freebies, but you will way over pay for absolute junk no matter how much they say they're giving you for free! They scam people out of thousands of dollars. Buyer beware! Don't buy anything from them. You've been warned with my honest experience. Research it for yourself and ignore these 5 star ratings, as they're ridiculous.

Really good & quick service! Moh and the other guy that helped us were super nice and easy to deal with. Got me a phone case and screen protector for our 2 phones, the prices were great too. Would definitely recommend if your in Vegas

We spent over 4000 in this store and was lied to about products and the fact that we would have a great experience with the products we purchased. I was hit by a drunk driver head on and can barely walk. We paid 3000 for the rideable suitcase so I could still enjoy getting out of the house some. Within 6 months it was broke. We have called and called. We were told they would send us 2 batteries in hopes of fixing the problem. Still nothing from them. Won't answer our calls or return our calls. I recommend this store to so many people and now lm like a disabled women who cant walk and am out over 3000 for a suitcase that hasn't worked in 9 months. Think twice before buying from this place. They knew my situation and took advantage of someone disabled.

Please be aware the "reviews" by people with one review and glowing praises, no profile picture......probably need to be taken with a grain of salt. This company is BAD NEWS. There is no way this place legitimately earned the 5 star reviews. PLEASE BE WARNED!! That said, the brothers who run this business are .....smooth. I was led to a pair of head phones that were SUPER comfortable and the sound quality was amazing. They pulled up the "Amazon headphones on sale(same headphones) for $499.00.....BUT WAIT!!! Yeah you get the picture. I bought them (half price of course because they are SO NICE), and the headphones I got when I got them home and tried them....were cheaply made and uncomfortable. I thought..."WTH , where are the comfy ones I had on?" I was there for an Animal Expo, and we were staying at the Flamingo...so we stumbled in to the "trap." Also included (because they are so nice) was a phone charger case. 250 dollars....but for you....blah blah. Phone charger case is ok....eh. Not worth the money as there are equal quality less expensive options. However at least they still work. My best friends charging phone case stopped worked a few days after she got home. She is still trying to get the $20.00 lifetime replacement charger. They "include" these plastic cards that are "warranty's"...but no where on their "website" will allow you to register. Buyer Beware. I expect more faceless positive reviews after I post this. My advice....stay away. Scammers.

Absolutely snake oil salesman. I'm mad at myself for allowing their predatory sales tactics to work on me when I only went in for a pair of ear buds for my flight home. Got persuaded into buying several other products I did not need because they pulled up the items on "Amazon" and "Best Buy" to compare pricing and tell me they would give me an amazing "deal". Everything happened so fast and by the time I paid I immediately felt like something wasn't right. When I tried to search these same items up on Amazon and Best Buy with my own phone - the items did not exist on either sites, whatever they showed me on their phone was completely phony. Specifically these items are the "Ai Pro" cell phone charging case and the "Apex Pro" wireless headphones. These are cheap Ali Express type products and of course, they do not offer refunds. The whole time the salesmen was running his mouth about the deals on these amazing products, he was standing in the way of the very small "all sales final" sign so I did not see and and he never once mentioned it to me. I didn't realize until I looked at my receipt after spending hundreds of dollars. I went back in shortly after and they tried to give more free fake junk and tell me how they aren't allowed to give refunds. I intend to file a complaint with the FTC about this company as well as contacting the flamingo hotel - this company is using fraudulent and unethical business practices. Oh and not to mention the fake chargers they threw in "on the house, the cords literally are worthless. BUYER BEWARE!!!

BEWARE! Coltan Electronics is an absolute scam with relabelled knockoff products. All of the salesmen are liars and thieves. I left 1 star because Yelp doesn't allow minus 100 stars. The salesmen at Coltan Electronics will keep trying to upsell you and give you all kinds of "free" things. Nothing is free here and none of their products are of any quality. None of them! What they show you is not what's in the box, and when it breaks, their promised "guarantees" are lies. Colton Electronics claims they do not give refunds, they try to claim that they cannot give refunds in the store, but it's a lie. They try to NOT give you your receipt, which is stamped on the bottom, "No Refunds". Their products are so terrible that they obviously don't stand behind any of them. They do not have any quality in that store. The headphones you listen to will not be the headphones in the box. The phone case with the charger doesn't work, doesn't charge and can damage your charging port. The projector they try to sell you for $5,000 or half price, bla bla bla is sold on Ebay for less than $500 and it's all junk. Go read the BBB complaints and other YELP reviews. The 5 star reviews anywhere are all fake. Read the real ones. They are very expensive horror stories. You can't reach anyone on their 800 number....1-800-977-5179, but if you call that automated number they'll attempt to sell more... The Attorney General says it's not legal to sell electronics with no return policy in Nevada, and also it's not legal to have no blatantly displayed sign stating they don't accept returns. All illegal trade practices. They are not accredited with the Better Business Bureau and have a long list of complaints there where they avoid resolving issues. They are in several hotels along the strip and those hotels should be ashamed of themselves for allowing them a presence in their hotels that scam their patrons and visitors. The Flamingo and MGM to name a few.

My Mom & I happened to walk by this store on our way to Shin Lim show & back. The suitcases that you can sit on & ride caught my attention so we went inside. Man was that wicked small!! You can't pack enough in there for a trip, its way too small!! I think its just meant for riding?? They had some cute plastic animal speakers on display, saw a couple massage chairs, cell phone covers, ear phones, laptops...such random stuff in this store. The suitcase was expensive & a couple was looking at one & talking to the employee there & I heard him say "we can ship it for you for free." Definitely a cute little mixed gadget store to stop into while walking thru.

I recently bought a case and some headphones from them. Products aren't bad at all really well and they even gave a lifetime warranty with everything! I got a business card so that next time I'll be able to upgrade to the projector they had.

This was a really cool store the customer service was outstanding. Haku was an amazing worker and the store had a great selection of cars, cases, and screen protectors.

We were in Las Vegas and got scammed by this company in the Flamingo resort. We were shown that the Alpha headphones were worth 499.00USA. They in fact are 50.00AU each! The 2 sales men worked as a team. They did the whole you get this and this for free when you buy the head phones but in fact we scammed! We paid USA$1083.95 for USA $250.00 worth of goods. Do not go there! They are crooks!

I simply needed a phone cord charger. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right??? Naw...clerk said no and tried to sell me a $100 case with charger inside. I said no again, tried to sell it to me AGAIN and I said NO a second time. Just give people what they want and stop the upsale.

We bought a number of items from this store when we were in Vegas with the promise that warranties would be sent to our e-mail addresses and a receipt. Two weeks later we are still waiting. I sent an e-mail to Aviv, my spouse tried to call the number that Aviv gave us (his personal number). There was an Hispanic woman who answered - we tried the number of the site and it went to an unknown number. We got screwed BIG TIME

When me and my sister where in Las Vegas in September we stopped by Coltan Electronics. I purchase a new charger for my telephone that you only charge say about every three days and it works GREAT! I love this charger and the best part if you change phones you have a lifetime guarantee to send in for a new charger for your new phone. I also purchased the headphones, absolutely amazing! The quality of the sound, totally awesome. You can hook up to your television for the surround sound effect/theatre effect it is PERFECT! Last purchase I made was the projector. Fabulas! Excellent picture showing off your garage door, brick wall, inside or outside good quality picture and sound. Affordable with payment plans too. Take on your family trips to have movie nights inside our outside. If you go camping you will need to purchase a screen. All items I purchased I LOVE and recommend you going with Coltan Electronics in Las Vegas! Oh yeah, Great customer service also!!!! Piglet 65A$

their products are pure junk. bought iPhone charging case and headphones in October. by november, my case was black it was originally rose gold. the case makes my phone overheat. the button on the headphones broke in November. these came with a warranty, but you have to pay about $35 fir shipping and handling. that cost is about the same as buying a similar product off of Amazon. salespeople are definitely hustlers! buyer beware. I paid $200 for case and headphones. not worth but about $50

Fantastic new electronics store at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. As a regular guest of the Mirage, I wandered in to see this shiny new store in the lobby, and was greeted by the most friendly staff I've ever met. They noticed my iPhone case was slightly broken, and showed me one of their battery powered cases. I've never really liked them because they're heavy, but they showed me a sleek, lighter case, which I instantly liked, and they even through in a free glass screen protector, a heavy-duty charge cable, and a dashboard adapter for my car. Right when I thought I was done, they showed me an chic set of wireless headphones, but I was resistant to any new purchases. That's when they offered me an incredible deal as a new store. Buy one, get.... not one, not two, but THREE extra headsets. I guess that filled my holiday shopping needs for the kids and wife. But what about me? Ugh.... this is where I ended up buying a video projector. But seriously.... not only did I get an amazing deal, this the coolest projector that links to your TV, cable, or cell phone, and comes ready with YouTube and Netflix capabilities. AND.... it fits in my jacket pocket, and has 4k resolution! Honestly, I never thought electronics shopping could be so much fun. I'll definitely be back. Ask for Yossi. He'll take care of you. Oh... and if you're an influencer... ask for a special deal!

Not only do they not get back to you, but they sold us over $600 worth of merchandise and NEVER SHIPPED IT! Do not trust these guys, they are crooks! After several attempts, we are still unable to get through to them. We sent an email and surprise surprise, we got no response. We've called several times, and the phone always rings busy - or the 800 number is an answering service, still waiting to hear back from them! WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN! Buyer beware! I am updating my review to 4 stars. The lack of communication in the beginning is why I'm not giving them 5 stars however, once they became aware of the issue, they reached out to make sure the it was resolved. Thank you for doing that!

Total rip off, I bought two Formula 1 remote control race cars for around $325 and found them on Amazon for $59.99 each!! Lesson learned, don't buy anything on the strip, especially from the hotels!!

I filed a Small Claims case in Las Vegas against Coltan Electronics They allowed me to return the highly overpriced items I was sold in Las Vegas for a full refund Additionally thy paid for shipping fees and court costs Clearly the business realized that the sales people scammed me. The preferred that the case be dismissed instead of going before the Judge

I walked into the store looking for a phone case for my daughters older iPhone XR. They sold me a case and a "free" (actually charged me $.10) glass protector. After getting to our room we realized it in fact did not fit her phone. We immediately went back downstairs to exchange it only to find out they actually had zero cases that truly fit her phone. The guy told us "that's why I gave you the free glass protector", which by the way still offered zero drop protection. Then he proceeded to try and sell me a much more expensive case that had "better protection". I asked for a refund and was told I had to call the 1-800 number on the receipt. So in the end I paid triple what I should have for a phone case that doesn't even fit her phone!! I guess I'll chalk it up to a lesson learned and throw this garbage in the trash.

This dude is straight up a scam artist. Sold my newlywed wife and I some garbage ads phone charging cases and some bullshit BT speakers. Gave us a lot of "Freebee's" however after spending the $1000 for the shit he sold us, couldn't me back to our hotel and realize we purchased a bunch of garbage for 1083.++ Don't buy his garbage. He is a con artist. If he sold his merch for what it was actually worth he would be homeless.

I am staying at the Mirage in Las Vegas for a business conference and I pass by Coltan Electronics from elevator to the hotel conference area. I saw a sales associate named Paris riding a carryon luggage bag which caught my attention. I walked in to ask a couple questions and she rode up answering them, let me try it out and in a casual unassuming manner began showing me some of their really cool products. Before I knew it I was purchasing headphones and the coolest portable projector I have ever seen. I always assumed that casino shops are all well above typical retail prices but I was wrong. I paid no more than what they were asking on EBay and Target. As for Paris, she was awesome; no pressure but she definitely knows how to make you feel like you're getting a great product for a reasonable price, she's a great addition to the Coltan team. I am very impressed with her and my overall experience.

My case for my iPhone had shattered while on vacation. I went to get a replacement and made it extremely known than I had to have a MagSafe compatible case since all our chargers are MagSafe only. The worker swore the case was MagSafe and sold it to me before we headed to our flight home. At the airport, I went to charge my phone just to find out that it was in fact NOT MagSafe compatible. My phone has a shattered back glass so I cannot take a case on and off to charge, so I wasted $160 and will have to buy another new case at home.

I was in Las Vegas with a bunch of girlfriends and we came across Coltan Electronics in the Flamingo Resort. "Ryan" was our guy. Very charismatic and likeable and explained things very well. He showed us the battery charging phone cases. All 5 of us purchased the phone case and he threw in some accessories and some of us even bought the Bluetooth Headphones. I was very skeptical of the deal he gave us and because all the other girls agreed it was a good deal I went along with it. Well, MY phone case didn't seem to be working properly. I really thought it was operator error. I contacted Customer Service and they were very responsive and polite in our conversations. I had to return my charging case and they let me know when they received it and promptly advised in was a manufacturer's issue. They let me know when it shipped out and gave me tracking information. In no time I received my new case! It appears to be in good working condition and I am very satisfied with their Customer Service and the Sales Staff in the Store! I would recommend Coltan Electronics to all my friends........Oh, and ask for "Ryan"
