Columbia College

Through my CPT at Columbia College, I have been able to apply the knowledge learned in my classes to practical, hands-on experience in admissions, marketing, and related projects. I assisted with student recruitment initiatives (such as open houses), created short videos for social media marketing, and collaborated with multiple departments on the new website development project. This CPT has provided me with valuable professional growth, enhancing my skills in marketing strategy, communication, and project coordination. These experiences have helped me bridge academic learning with workplace application and have better prepared me for today’s professional environment.

I miss Teacher Natalie, who taught me so clearly about pronouns, speaking, and thinking. Columbia College has helped me become more confident in speaking and achieve my goals. I still have the opportunity to learn about the Business Administration program, apply for FAFSA, and pursue a scholarship.

Columbia College’s online programs have exceeded my expectations. The flexibility has allowed me to pursue my degree while working and taking care of other responsibilities. The faculty is supportive and the online resources are to top-notch. I’m proud of to a student here.

My teacher is outstanding.Additionally,she is patient and always provides thorough explanations for any queries we may have.I found that taking the online ESL course was really beneficial.She provides excellent explanations.A great blessing is having a teacher like her.I also want to thank Columbia College for choosing someone with such an impressive skill set.

Today is a special day for teachers everywhere in the world. I wish that their efforts and sacrifices are appreciated by everyone. I was a teacher and I know how difficult this profession is, but also how much pleasure you get when students and parents value you wholeheartedly. My teacher , is wonderful. The way she teaches is very professional and effective, which makes me feel very good and happy to learn English. The way she explains things, the way she is so patient with us and gives us extra time from herself so we can understand and feel comfortable to discuss and learn is amazing. I am very lucky to have a teacher like her. Until now I really hated learning English because it was so hard for me, but she makes it so easy and explains things so good that I am feeling more and more comfortable. And I would like to thank you Columbia College for hiring someone so professional.

First Happy World Teacher's Day . I'm very excited with Columbia College Online VESL. Teacher Christina is amazing teacher, we learn a lot from her. When it's time for online ZOOM Class I'm very happy, the reason is teacher Christina is so clearly on her teaching and examples that she serves for us too. I appropriate her job very much. Terrible excuse for a college. In 2021, what school doesn't have a student portal where one can see their progress in their selected program of study, or final grades for courses they just finished? The instructors are a mixed bag. Some clearly have no experience or business teaching anything. Some are very good. And don't get me started on the fact that staff were still required to go into their shared offices/cubicles at the height of the pandemic. The only times they could work from home (with their webcams on so the owner could see they were working) was when colleagues happened to test positive. That was only until everyone tested negative. Then you had to go back to the office until the next one was positive, then the cycle repeated. Mediocre community college, at best.

Columbia College is an excellent institution for learning both English and vocational trade programs. Students are from all over the world and it is a pleasure to meet and interact with them. All the teachers care deeply about the students making this college a rare and special place. A combination of an excellent education and enjoyable experience is what sets Columbia College apart. 5 stars all the way

So, this is what happened to me and my experience with columbia college, i wouldn't even give them a star. After i finish my whole career, I asked for my transcript because they never gave a report of any of my courses. I am fluent in Spanish since is my first language but been the only course that i could take that semester, i took it, and the teacher knew all of this, and make me practically her assistant during class, and grade me with a C?, HOW THAT'S EVEN POSSIBLE?. The worst part is the negligence of adding a course on my transcript that I DID NOT even take with a C grade, funny part this extra course was Spanish II. At this point I am frustrated and pretty disappointed with this college. This school is a complete JOKE. To finish i had to ask for the third time for this transcript because the put the wrong last name, after a spelled the two times that i called to get this problem fixed, is sad how no one is capable to do ONE right thing, they only care about me paying for the transcript and the shipping and the whole career since i couldn't ask for a loan, obviously they DO NOT TAKE MY FRUSTRATION AS A PRIORITY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY AND MONEY IN THIS PLACE is not worth it.

If I can give negative stars then I would. First of all, there are teachers that are not qualified for the job. The classes are mostly all koreans, which makes you feel as if diversity doesn't matter here. The level of programs are below subpar. There is nothing going on here except your money being taken away. The accuplacer exam was something that would have been found on a free open source website. They say they have a masters program, but don't even have legit programs that are certified. If you get certification here, you will not be acknowledged in the real world. I've gotten a certification here that I was laughed at when getting a job in the marketplace. Save your money and run far away from this school!
