Today is a special day for teachers everywhere in the world. I wish that their efforts and sacrifices are appreciated by everyone. I was a teacher and I know how difficult this profession is, but also how much pleasure you get when students and parents value you wholeheartedly. Thank you to teacher Mano, who with her professionalism and patience made it easier for us to learn the English language. My teacher , is wonderful. The way she teaches is very professional and effective, which makes me feel very good and happy to learn English. The way she explains things, the way she is so patient with us and gives us extra time from herself so we can understand and feel comfortable to discuss and learn is amazing. I am very lucky to have a teacher like her. Until now I really hated learning English because it was so hard for me, but she makes it so easy and explains things so good that I am feeling more and more comfortable. And I would like to thank you Columbia College for hiring someone so professional.

I would like to thank my teacher Chritina. I have learned English with her for 40 weeks. During these times, she always teaches in a clear way. She knows what her pupils' needs and she prepared the lesson before teaching so that we can get the best during zoom class. She is also patient and she always explains in a clear way when we ask any questions. I am so lucky that I could learn ESL with her.

The ESL and online ESL program doesn’t have a curriculum, it is not like a college! We had match better language institutes and courses in Afghanistan than this college. But, it is to be mentioned that their admission staffs are doing an outstanding job, and or trying to help the student.

I attended an online ESL class at Columbia College and I really enjoyed it. After finishing the class I felt confident with speaking and writing english. The staff were very helpful and in particular Eriona. She helped me with any information and also she was very patient for any questions I had. I'm glad I had the opportunity to take those classes. I definitely recommend this school.

I took the TBE program and it was a really great experience. The teachers were very helpful, always trying to find another way to explain the material and make some dynamics with the students. Because of Covid, I took some online classes and they were great. Also, every time I had a problem with Canvas, the academic staff helped me. Pretty good school.

Teacher Ciin is the best teacher ever. She had well prepared, communicated clearly, patient, friendly for the class. I appreciate her. Thank you Teacher Ciin and Columbia Collage Online VESL.

Terrible excuse for a college. In 2021, what school doesn't have a student portal where one can see their progress in their selected program of study, or final grades for courses they just finished? The instructors are a mixed bag. Some clearly have no experience or business teaching anything. Some are very good. And don't get me started on the fact that staff were still required to go into their shared offices/cubicles at the height of the pandemic. The only times they could work from home (with their webcams on so the owner could see they were working) was when colleagues happened to test positive. That was only until everyone tested negative. Then you had to go back to the office until the next one was positive, then the cycle repeated. Mediocre community college, at best.

Columbia College is an excellent institution for learning both English and vocational trade programs. Students are from all over the world and it is a pleasure to meet and interact with them. All the teachers care deeply about the students making this college a rare and special place. A combination of an excellent education and enjoyable experience is what sets Columbia College apart. 5 stars all the way

So, this is what happened to me and my experience with columbia college, i wouldn't even give them a star. After i finish my whole career, I asked for my transcript because they never gave a report of any of my courses. I am fluent in Spanish since is my first language but been the only course that i could take that semester, i took it, and the teacher knew all of this, and make me practically her assistant during class, and grade me with a C?, HOW THAT'S EVEN POSSIBLE?. The worst part is the negligence of adding a course on my transcript that I DID NOT even take with a C grade, funny part this extra course was Spanish II. At this point I am frustrated and pretty disappointed with this college. This school is a complete JOKE. To finish i had to ask for the third time for this transcript because the put the wrong last name, after a spelled the two times that i called to get this problem fixed, is sad how no one is capable to do ONE right thing, they only care about me paying for the transcript and the shipping and the whole career since i couldn't ask for a loan, obviously they DO NOT TAKE MY FRUSTRATION AS A PRIORITY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY AND MONEY IN THIS PLACE is not worth it.

If I can give negative stars then I would. First of all, there are teachers that are not qualified for the job. The classes are mostly all koreans, which makes you feel as if diversity doesn't matter here. The level of programs are below subpar. There is nothing going on here except your money being taken away. The accuplacer exam was something that would have been found on a free open source website. They say they have a masters program, but don't even have legit programs that are certified. If you get certification here, you will not be acknowledged in the real world. I've gotten a certification here that I was laughed at when getting a job in the marketplace. Save your money and run far away from this school!
