Bright, clean, open environment. Upon entering - we were warmly greeted by the host and seated immediately. We tried several of their offerings and each one was delicious. (See photos) My mother-in-law ordered the Shrimp Yakisoba, she loved it - I didn’t get a photo of it. I especially enjoyed the tofu. Mr. Wonderful was celebrating his birthday and was given a deep friend Twinkie with ice-cream - and - a birthday song, which was enjoyed by all at our table.

The food was okay, kind of comfort food. Nothing really spectacular... The owner / cook was very personable and we enjoyed getting to know him and a little bit about the restaurant

This place is so unassuming when you drive up BUT it’s a Hidden gem. The service was excellent the food hit the spot! The atmosphere was perfect. As a solo traveler I sat at the bar for my meal. The fellow patrons are helpful and kind as well. Highly recommend. Thanks!

Google
Thank you Max for such a great experience. The food we had was amazing. We came in from Cincinnati for a short stay with family. If we lived closer we would be making this one of our go to places to eat. Keep up the good work.

My mom and I found this little gem on our road trip from California to Seattle. I Googled places to eat when we pulled off the highway to get gas and this place came up. We found it easily thanks to navigation and upon entering the restaurant, heard two people chatting and laughing. We were greeted and seated promptly. I ordered teriyaki chicken with fried rice and mom ordered a grilled chicken salad with thousand island dressing and French fries. Everything was delicious and so fresh! It turned out the server was the owner. We had a great chat with the owner and even tried a potential new menu item, which was also delicious! I highly recommend stopping and enjoying a meal here!

I went for lunch today and I've been on carnivore for some time now so I through them a curve ball I ordered a steak and he suggested meat balls the presentation was great. Meatballs were probably costco tried to get with no sauce but not sure if that were possible and I wanted medium rare definitely came medium done, still it wasn't bad I'm happy for the accommodation myself being a pain and all and no there was no adjustments or substitute for not having any sides infact I thought that's what the Meatballs were all about but I assumed incorrectly so I can't tell you if the 27 dollar lunch was justified. My server was awesome checked on me several times and attitude was on point restaurant was clean would recommend for someone eating like a normal person however, I will not be returning the steak ruined it for me. Still left my tip and thanked them for the meal.

Google
Fabulous food, and Max was great! I enjoyed the Sichuan shrimp and my husband had the yakisoba. Yakisoba is good, but the shrimp was absolutely wonderful. There was heat, great flavor and looked great too. We also had the eggroll appetizer, very good, and the dessert buns. The iced Thai coffee is also really good. It is sweet and strong with a good balance.

Yelp
Wow! Very nice place to eat. We were warmly greeted and immediately sat at a booth by the window. The food was amazing (see pics)! There's a cute little bar, plenty of room for large groups. I can't wait to try out more on the menu

Yelp
Columbia Eats...consistently fabulous food! Max takes care of his customers with a genuine smile and wonderfully crafted meals. If you haven't stopped in for a bite to eat, give it a try! His teriyaki chicken is our go to favorite meal with the dumpling appetizer.

Yelp
Service from the owner is fantastic. We were a group of 9 and got extremely responsive, personal service. The bbq pork fried rice was a hit with our group, as well as chicken teriyaki. Also, don't miss Barb's home made ravioli - we had the mushroom. Max recommended the Alfredo and we agree. We also enjoyed the egg rolls and crab Rangoon appetizer. The dumplings are also great if you enjoy meat quite a bit.

Yelp
While the server (maybe the owner?) was excellent, and the food was okay, the menu was limited & they were out of some items.

Yelp
Service was very welcoming and hospitable. Happy hour was a great deal, from 3-5; beer, wine and warm sake for just five bucks. Bar menu, $5 options But several of the items on the menu are more than fairly priced. In fact, I'd say they are a really good deal!

Yelp
Okay, we eat here a lot. Easy to do where the food is great, the prices are so reasonable and the whole place is clean (yes, I even peaked into the kitchen when I walked by!) . We've tried several entrées, but once my husband tried the steak and I took my first bite of Chicken Yakisoba, we've had a hard time deviating from our usual. Until last night! We ordered our regulars, but something else on the menu kept nagging at me. A lot of people don't have good memories regarding Spam, but curiosity insisted we try the Spam fried rice. We had Max put it directly into a to go container for us to take home after our dinner. OMGosh! It's so good! It's loaded with pineapple, Spam and all the right stuff that makes a wonderful fried rice. Sorry about the picture. Even though we were full when we got home, we couldn't resist opening it up and trying a couple of bites. A couple? I think about a cup is missing in the picture! LOL!

Yelp
Out Harley riding thot i wud try someplace new. First try following iPhone directions took me to a chinese restaurant next door. A call got me to the right place. Owner is Max. Two areas to sit. I sat in the bar area with a flat screen tv. I started with 2 appetizers. First came bbq pork buns. Not bad. Then hot peanut butter chili oil wontons. Ok wud have liked a stronger peanut butter taste. My entre was yakisoba dark meat chicken. Just ok. The chicken i did not like was cut in small pieces. And the yakisoba noodles i did not like were broken up into short pieces. I went all out and had a dessert. Fried creme brulee cheese cake drizzled w chocolate with a small dollop of ice cream. No flavor. Owner was a supper nice guy serving all the customers and a drive up window and taking phone orders and taking payments by himself. I wud probably go again as he has a great menu i wud like to try other items.

Yelp
Owner/Host/server Max offers a wide variety of foods. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. Great food with generous portions for a fair price. This will definitely be in our rotation for meals.

Yelp
Amazing food and giant portions. Great service and great atmosphere. The teriyaki chicken breast was outstanding.

Yelp
My wife and I decided to try out this new restaurant to our area and we were surprised indeed! We ordered a Tai iced tea, a chikochiko peach, wings, egg rolls, and arrabiata pasta. For dessert we tried the Nutella cheesecake and fried reeses peanut butter cup. They were all super tasty! If we were not so full we would try more! The ambiance of this place was simple with beautiful glass lighting. The most amazing thing though, the server was also the owner, he was beyond informative, very friendly, and despite being very busy very attentive. We had a great time and we will certainly be returning to try more!

Yelp
Updating review from 4 to 5 stars! Eaten here quite a few times and everything is fantastic. Everything homemade. Max is the man. Nicest guy ever and an amazing chef. A true understanding of flavors, always wanting to improve and make people happy. If you haven't been, you're missing out!!

Yelp
We went to try Columbia Eats after seeing others post delicious pictures of food in a local online food group. I don't know if it's the owner or manager that greeted us and served us, but he was incredibly polite and friendly. We ordered new drink he had made up, half Mai Tai and half Pina Colada. It was delicious. The BBQ Pork Buns were really tasty, as were the eggrolls and crab puffs. Good prices, clean and well lit restaurant. The bar area looks really nice also.

Yelp
Great fresh dishes and wonderful service :) this is our 2nd time eating here and we also carried out. The owner is super sweet knowledgeable.

Julie R.

Yelp
The food is beautiful, delicious, perfectly seasoned and the right temperature. The charming owner/server/cashier learned our names and called us by name throughout the time we were there. We ordered a variety of appetizers and yakisoba tofu. After eating, talking and laughing for a couple of hours, we realized we were there 30 minutes after his posted closing time (along with a couple of other patrons). We realized this and apologized. He was very gracious and said we could linger as long as we want.

Yelp
The owner was so welcoming and open to any feedback. Margarita was delicious...fresh and no mix!! Ordered appetizers. The wontons were to die for!! The peanut sauce was amazing!! The egg rolls were excellent. The pot stickers were cooked perfectly! Our waitress was very upbeat and attentive. Definitely will be back to try more!

Yelp
While visiting the area we decided to try this place, and it was so good we dined there 2 of our 3 nights in the area! Food was excellent (we tried the Yakatori skewers, steamed dumplings, pasta bolognese, asian salad, mushroom ravioli and Yakisoba chicken and crab rangoon - all excellent!). Prices are actually a bit less than you'll find for comparable food in the area, IF you can find food this good. The owner and cook basically run the place, so you might have a 5 or 10 minute wait for a table even if tables are empty. They want the service to be right, and it is, so don't let that dissuade you. Even the cocktails and desserts are really good, so this is a must-try when you're in Longview.

Yelp
Had dinner at Columbia Eats Bar & Grill last night with our party of four. This place is a newly started hidden gem. Much of their menu is made in-house and we're finding to be delicious. Caesar dressing made from scratch, croutons made in-house, great flavor. Several of our party had the made-in-house ravioli with a spicy bolognese sauce; absolutely delicious. Followed the meal up with a deep-fried snicker & deep-fried Twinkie with ice cream. What's not to like here? The only bad news is I can try only one entree at one setting. Numerous other entrees that I want to try. Very friendly service. Pleasant spartan setting. I would give it between 4 & 5 stars.

Yelp
Loved this place! Generous portions of food served well and inexpensive! The food was very good and I'm coming back to try the fried candy bars.

Yelp
Food is awesome! Prepared for each order. Owner is out waiting tables and very personable and attentive. Prices are best in town, portions generous. Highly recommend! We will be back!!

Yelp
Max is welcoming, kind, and very open to feedback! We had nothing but good things to say about the food and experience. Everything is made from scratch and it shows! The pot stickers were the best I've ever had and I look forward to coming here again.

Yelp
Very good food, a lot of options to choose from. Max is a very great guy and caring. I highly recommend anyone in the area to visit!

Yelp
Egg fried rice, teriyaki, fried calamari, pot stickers, Asian salad. Beautiful presentation. Kind service. Checked on us, explained options and dishes. Thank you for the delicious lunch.

Yelp
Went for the first time today- still in the soft opening phase but would recommend anyone to go! We met the owner Max who is a delightful gentleman, very kind and eager for feedback. Our waitress was wonderful as well. We tried several of the appetizers, highly recommend the wontons with the peanut butter sauce- they are packed with flavor and very unique. The potstickers were cooked perfectly as well as the egg rolls. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. There is a full bar, the decor is modern and well appointed. Prices are very reasonable! Can't wait to go back and try some other items.

Yelp
I found out that the new Columbia Eats Bar & Grill (located in the old Los Pepe's location) in Longview did their soft opening today. Hubby and I went there for dinner, and were greeted by the owner, Max, and our waitress, Miranda. Both were friendly, attentive, and offered excellent service. We had our choice of booths or tables in the spotlessly clean dining room. We started with our drink order which included Pepsi products by the bottle, some other beverages (see menu), and a full bar available. Their menu had a variety of Asian/fusion dishes, and a list of Italian pasta entrees to choose from; Basically, something for everyone. I love a good Chinese salad, so I ordered their Asian Salad with a soy sauce dressing to start (Warning: delicious chopped peanut topping). For a couple dollars more, I could have added my choice of meat, and make it a meal by itself. Instead, Hubby and I both chose the Chicken Teriyaki with Thigh Meat which arrived with steamed rice and veggies. We both brought home leftovers so we could enjoy their dessert menu. Hubby ordered the Fried Twinkie, and I got the Fried Snickers candy bar. Both desserts were cut in half, so we shared each treat which was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. There were a few very minor hiccups (common and forgivable for a soft opening) which we discussed with the owner, but nothing that took away from our overall experience. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Amazing fusion of foods! We ate the best crab puffs we've had in years. One of the best restaurants in Long View. Wow

darcee s.

Yelp
A real chef back in the kitchen. Food was exquisite with such reasonable prices. I'm excited for Longview to have this gem here. Service was top tier.

Jackie E.

Yelp
The owner was wonderful about welcoming us (6) in and explaining his menu. Food for all was very good & plentiful. The only thing from getting 5 stars is his policy that a large table of 6 individuals we couldn't ask for separate checks and could only put on one check so many of us didn't have cash we had to really work on how to pay. Luckily 3 had enough cash to give to others who with debt/CC cards. Looks nice inside.

K P.

Yelp
The food is amazing and the desserts are to die for. Had deep fried Twinkie. Max is an amazing host.

David S.
