COLUMBUS CEAFOOD BAR & RESTAURANT

Tried this place because it was recommended on an app and I live super close by - and WOW, everything is delicious!!! Got fried shrimp, fried tilapia, fried flounder, and fries and everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and had just the right amount of breading, packaged neatly and securely. The menu is really reasonably priced, especially compared to other restaurants in the area. The interior is bright and very clean and the staff are really polite and friendly. They also sell fresh seafood and veggies by the pound. It looks like they’re fairly new, and I’m so happy to have another neighborhood joint to frequent for lunch and dinner!

Delicious and flavorful food. Interior was very clean, but it seems more like a takeout place for now since there weren't any thanks to sit at. There's also a designated fresh seafood area where you can buy your seafood by the pound. I got a steamed fish and it was wonderfully seasoned, and not overcooked. Prices on the menu seemed very reasonable.

Amazing food!!! Whitting Fish seasoned to perfection and delivered hot!!! You guys are just going to have to ceeee for yourself. Shout out to the owner Tameka the owner she gave back to her college community and brought everyone in class dinner and drinks. Check out her spot!! Definitely a must go to in Harlem. Drinks are delightful as well :)

Great food, great music, great atmosphere and great customer service! In short, I love it there! Try their gumbo!!! Plz try the gumbo! Lol

Honest review to hopefully help push this new spot in a better direction. Walked in. Two staff were there, not one greeted me, the man behind the counter looked angry as hell. Big turn off if you walk into someone like that who is supposed to make your order. The prices were extremely high, they had lamb chops with rice for $35? And you can see the rest for yourself. The menu also is confusing, can't really tell what you get with what, and you will question that when you see the prices. I get it, it's seafood, but you have to wow someone with the flavor of the seafood as well, and it just wasn't there, at least for me, someone from the islands who's been eaten seafood since a child. The energy there is also, just not inviting at all. That is a difficult area to have such a place, so please don't let it discourage you. Change a few things and you will see a difference I believe. You don't have to cater to the "block" and Douglas PJs across the street, cater to what people love about seafood and you'll solidly yourself as a top seafood spot. Just a point of view from a avid seafood lover, and someone hoping for a great seafood spot close by. All the best -

Today was my first time getting food from this place and let me tell you it is sooo good! The greens are so flavorful, Mac and cheese on point. Fried fish not too greasy and delicious. The young lady at the register was very friendly. The cook had a smile on his face. I’m going back tomorrow to try some more stuff!!!

AMAZING! Haven’t had cornmeal breaded fish since I left Florida, and mannnn now I miss it! Fresh fish taste as if they caught an hour ago! breading just like home cooking! And rice and veggies cooked to perfection. Haven’t had such a flavorful meal in a long while.

A few hours ago I bought a flounder sandwich and some chicken wings came with fries. In this new establishment in our neighborhood. FOR A NEW PLACE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: YOUR PRICES ARE HIGH -Staff not friendly -Flounder very bland but good coating -Chicken wings were just warm , not freshly fried With sauce over them , wings also were bland and not hot. One can not cover bland with sauces >No taste to get wowed 😱 Fries were not fresh or hot After 1/2 hour stomach ache. I guess until they don’t get it together, I will not be visiting again. If someone ask … how is the place I have to tell the truth. Sorry but kick it up
