"Open since 1973 and founded by best friends Alex Dervenis and Peter Zervas, Columbus Meat Market sadly succumbed to the West Loop gentrification, its original location in what used to be the Meatpacking district now home to an Aesop store. But, as a testament to this city’s love of butchers, they relocated to Archer Heights and many of their customers remained loyal.
