Yelp
If you have any understanding of how Vietnamese food tastes in the States or elsewhere, do not come here. As a career service industry worker, I avoid one star reviews at all costs, but was massively dissatisfied and disappointed in this establishment.
We made a reservation after looking to mix it up, and our server left us at our table for over forty minutes before coming back to take our order. Mind you, the restaurant was about half full at this point. They sat a few different tables of Italian customers next to us and immediately took care of them, got their food out rather quickly, and the servers checked in on them regularly throughout service, while completely ignoring my partner and I. After delivering the wrong beverage, it was about another twenty five minutes or so before we received our food.
As we waited, I started to grow suspicious that maybe I wasn't the only one who had this experience here and decided up their Yelp. I read on in horror as my worst fears were confirmed. As all of the other Italian tables around us were beginning to finish their food, our dinner finally arrived. We got pho, bun chay, and the mussels. The quality is about what you'd expect from a cafeteria style set up and we didn't even finish our food. Bland, imbalanced, overpriced, and leaving more than something to be desired. I'm not the kind of person to burn a spot on an app just because the food isn't for me. But when the service is also absolutely horrible? It's gonna be a no from me dawg. So here I am, an anti-yelper, and one of the many deeply disappointed customers, urging you not to waste your time at this restaurant.
I'd leave a zero if I could.
We finished our night at the kebab spot two doors down from here and it was great. If you find yourself in my shoes, go get a kebab.
