Coma Arepas

I have been wanting to try Coma Arepas for a while but haven't made the trip to Kenner until today for lunch. It was worth it! The food comes out hot and delicious. We got the pernil and pavillion arepas. Also got an order of the cheese tequenos. They are very filling. I really loved the sauce they give you with the tequenos and arepas. Definitely enjoyed my meal. The lady was so nice, great service. Definitely have to go back and try more items from their menu. Highly recommend it if you want arepas.

Had an excellent dinner at Coma Arepas tonight. We got pernil and pavillion arepas and a domino empanada. Everything we ate was super delicious and the service was great. I’m looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.

Wonderful people great atmosphere amazing food ...soooooo good Wonderful people create a great atmosphere, which is so inviting. The amazing food complements the good vibes, making it a perfect combination. It's the kind of place where you want to spend hours, enjoying every moment. Everything is soooooo good; it's an experience you'll never forget! I can't wait to go back again.

This place was such a good place to eat at. The food was great! It was my first time eating arepas and they were so good. The little Nutella, guava and cheese Teqenos (not sure if I spelled it right) were so delicious. The Nutella ones were my favorite. They served fresh mango and strawberry juice which was also good. We also ordered empanadas both beans and cheese and the other one was chicken. The beans and cheese empanadas were a 8/10 which was good but the chicken one was my fave. They just opened a month ago and it’s like a little hole in the wall. Would definitely go here again.

It’s so good!! I’m literally in awe. I’m obsessed with the Mano y Mechada Cachapa! If you like corn, don’t even think twice- just order it. The arepas are massive and filled with flavor. It’s my third time here this week and it’s about to be a weekly must. Try the mango fresh juice! The ambiance is cute and comfortable. Everyone is so kind and attentive. So glad I found this place!

I was so looking forward to try this place as there aren’t many Venezuelan restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, food was terrible. Main issue was the type of cheese they use for the cachapas and tequeños. Horrible cheese, no flavor and wrong consistency. Parrilla was too salty and meat quality poor. So, one star for food. The owner tried to make things right and was concerned about service and food, so an extra star for him for trying.

Úrsula welcomed us so kindly. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is completely authentic. The restaurant is truly beautiful and everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert. We will be coming back very often. 10/10 experience.

Delicious food and friendly service. First time having Venezuelan cuisine so I cannot speak to authenticity but I will return to try the empanadas next!

I had the most wonderful experience yesterday when I stopped in to get something to go. The owner, OT, welcomed me warmly, then took the time to show me photos of the delicious food. I got the beef arepa with plantations, all made from OT's grandmother's recipes. My meal was perfect, and I can't wait to return to try something else! Everyone should go visit OT for his charming company and wonderful cuisine!
