"Finding a good cup of specialty coffee is not an easy task in the city. But Combi Coffee Roasters makes the mission easier for those walking through the Bonfim neighborhood, where this airy cafe is tucked. The pioneer shop serves various beans roasted in-house from countries like Brazil, Ethiopia, and El Salvador, prepared in different methods (V60, Aeropress, espresso). The food on offer is limited, but there are always dense chocolate brownies with salted caramel and fresh pastéis de nata in the countertop display." - Rafael Tonon

A cool establishment let down by their capacity to handle large crowds. The barista seems a bit overwhelmed and there is 4 people working there. It’s also a pity that they allowed computer workers here that takes up valuable customer space and from a business perspective point of view they should not allowed this. Coffee was good, I got the flat white and the babka which was moist and good to the bite. Pricey for Portugal standards. Paid 7.80euros. If you want a quick takeaway bite would recommend to come here but if you want to sit down and chill would be a bit more out of the comfort zone. Avoid if you have a large group.

Genuinely, the best coffee we had in all of Portugal. As a strict latte drinker, I didn’t even need to put sugar in my latte here, the flavor is just so balanced and delicious. We love the snacks they have as well! A perfect spot to unwind with yummy coffee. The music, card games, magazines, everything is so thoughtful here. We can’t wait to come back!

Come for the amazing coffee, roasted right in Porto and stay for the fun staff and incredible atmosphere! A shout out to Suzy and Rodrigo for making my trip so special. The Brazilian/Peru espresso blend was divine!

Found this place in my short trip to Porto and I was going every day for my coffee. Atmosphere is great and coffee is amazing. I also bought freshly roasted Honduras beans to try at home, which made a great aromatic coffee. If you are a coffee lover and visiting Porto you should definitely go there.

Best coffee in Porto no doubt! 🫶 I was there for three days and this beautiful place was, fortunately, close to my hotel. The capuchino with oat milk was soooooo good and tasty. The texture and flavoring where on point 👌🏼✨ Love it! If I ever come back deff I will take my morning coffee here ☕️ 100% recommended 🔝

The coffee here is excellent. I had a latte with oat milk and it was fabulous. The best I’ve had in Porto to-date. The croissant was also super tasty and I enjoyed the detox smoothie. I went on a Sunday morning, it was incredibly busy and it was clear the staff were struggling to manage. Also, I didn’t love that they allow folks to bring their dogs into the shop. At one point it literally felt like a dog park - with four dogs inside the shop at one point. It’s a bit much especially when the place was super crowded.

Very good customer service, and friendly. The place is cozy and good coffee smell around. Unfortunately I was truly disappointed with the coffee presentation. For a such high price tag for local averages, I was surprised to see the latte being served in a cheap glass cup from Ikea. For this I could have gone to any other local "pastelaria" and pay a third of the price i paid here. Taste wise it was nothing special either to justify the price point. Finally, we ordered butter toasts which were not only served in quite basic bread, but soaking in butter (you can see how soaked are both the toast and the napkin). In short, unless you want to pay a hefty premium for the coffee place hipster vibe, I don't recommend this place.

We had coffee here, but it wasn’t the best we had in Porto. However, this place has its own unique charm. We had a Cappuccino; the atmosphere is laid-back, but in a thoughtful way—it has a certain depth to it, a kind of deliberate rustic feel that makes you feel comfortable. That being said, we thought the coffee quality could be better. It didn’t impress us that much. We’ve had much better coffee in many cities across Europe, so there’s still some way to go in that regard. Nevertheless, it’s worth a try, a good alternative. We would recommend visiting, but with moderate expectations.
