London’s New Restaurant Openings - London - The Infatuation

"From the pictures alone, this Hong Kong-Cantonese spot looks aptly named. There are flickering candles, menus tucked into wooden seat backs, and neutral, unfinished plaster tones. There are also art exhibits, cola-glazed wings, and stewed beef flank with daikon at this blink-and-you’ll-miss-it King’s Cross restaurant." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Come Back In - Review - Kings Cross - London - The Infatuation

"From the pictures alone, this Hong Kong-Cantonese spot looks aptly named. There are flickering candles, menus tucked into wooden seat backs, and neutral, unfinished plaster tones. There are also art exhibits, cola-glazed wings, and stewed beef flank with daikon at this blink-and-you’ll-miss-it King’s Cross restaurant. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Sinéad Cranna

First time here and I was really impressed! The radish and beef brisket stew was tender and flavorful, the braised platter was authentic and delicious, and the stir-fried chayote was fresh. On top of the food, the space itself feels artistic and thoughtfully designed — you can tell the owner has a real eye for art. He’s also very friendly and passionate about sharing both the food and his artistic perspective. A unique spot that combines great flavors with a creative atmosphere!

Had a really amazing meal here a few weeks ago. Everything tasted great, both satisfying and homemade but also refined and elegant. The atmosphere was cosy but also clearly a lot of effort went into design and the dishes (as in the ceramics) were beautiful. Highlights were the chayote side dish and (surprisingly for a group who wasn’t so into the idea of dessert to start with) the not-too-sweet desserts, my personal favourite was the fried milk curd. The service was attentive and friendly. We went at a weekend lunchtime not too long after it had opened and were having almost the only guests, but I imagine you might need reservations at busy times/ now that they’ve been open longer. 100% hoping to go back.

My wife and I just finished the Stable Street market and hanged around St Pancras for lunch. We found this home feeling restaurant providing Cantonese dishes in Hong Kong style. The crispy pork with sweet and sour sauce is so recommended. The food ingredients they used is fresh and top notch.

A hidden gem just a few minutes walk away from King’s Cross station. Delicious food with fresh ingredients and no MSG. Authentic Hong Kong cuisine prepared with passion. And very reasonable price! Highly recommended

Cantonese restaurant a few steps away from Kings Cross Station. The staff are warm and attentive and the menu is well curated. The ingredients are so fresh and dishes taste authentic, just like home. Vegan and gluten free menu is also available.

I loved the oolong tea and the cucumber salad and the sauce used for the basil chicken pot was lovely but I wish the bones were removed beforehand otherwise the chicken was very tender. I didn’t enjoy the beef pot it was quite heavy and fatty I personally don’t enjoy the texture but the service here was amazing very accommodating and kind

Excellent lunch spot for anyone in Kings X! £13.50 set menu was delicious. Mapo Tofu and spicy cabbage was so flavourful and it’s a lovely spot tucked away from the business of Kings X.
