Absolutely delicious meal! Just the right portions. Fast and friendly service. Pay at the counter. Small but clean restaurant. Easy parking. Community vibe. I look forward to coming back next time I’m in town!!

Visited September 19th before going to my dentist appointment. I was running late with my friend so we ran in and ordered the Arepas plate. I only had a couple bites because I had a dental appointment but my friend inhaled the food! The place inside is very small but welcoming. There is some seating outside but remember you are in the parking lot area in a small complex with other small businesses. I will go again when I have time to enjoy the food!

This place has finally done it! This location has not worked out for many, but now we are lucky to have an excellent restaurant. The food was great, the people were nice and the chef made an appearance. I felt like I was having lunch at a friend’s house. I highly recommend going for lunch!

I initially met Chef Rene before he opened Comedor. He prepared a private dinner for me and a group of friends. I’ve now experienced his amazing food and hospitality at Comedor and it’s exceptional. We ordered one of everything on the menu and had the best time tasting it all. We met Rose as well and she won us over ordering the trout. Don’t skip out on the trout!

In addition to the food being AMAZING, the staff was just as AMAZING. 10/10 would recommend if you’re in the mood for something delicious.

We had the most delightful experience here! The meals were incredible — we ordered almost one of everything on the menu, and every single bite was amazing. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and truly welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and great vibes!

Both dishes that we ordered were full of flavor and cooked to perfection including the vegetable sides. The quantity was plenty. The atmosphere was calm and our server answered questions, offered samples and served us with a smile. We will definitely be back.

I will go again when I have time to truly enjoy the food!

Some highlights for you: 1 Colombian Chef 2 Organic Ingredients 3 Made from scratch 4 Welcoming atmosphere If you haven't tried it, you're missing out! Rose and Renè have a great thing going. Quick service too! Check out their Saturday Brunch specials! They have local kefir water on tap, and use local farms for most of their ingredients. Fresh squeezed orange juice is the cherry on top.

We had the privilege of tasting Rene's food during a private dinner last year, and we were thrilled to visit his restaurant this weekend. The food is incredible, the flavors are authentic, and and such a genuinely kind owner/chef. This spot is a gem. Highly recommend!

Comedor catered our wedding reception and the food and experience was more than I could have dreamed of! They provided the best service from the very beginning when we met to discuss what the menu would be, and on the day of the reception took care of everything for the entirely of the day. Since I am vegan, but my spouse and most guests are not, they made sure there were some vegan options which, to me, was the highlight. They made two amazing appetizers that everyone loved, a main course with sides and dessert. I heard from so many guests that the food was some of the best they had ever had at a wedding. I did not get many photos of the food that day but continue to go back and eat at Comedor as much as I can & the food is always delicious and fresh!

Comedor is SO delicious! It tastes like a wonderful homemade meal with fresh ingredients and all the flavor. The pork belly is incredible. The ambiance is chill and unassuming. And for how amazing the food is- the wait is never too long but regardless it would be so worth the wait. I can't recommend this spot enough!

This little eatery is cute and a gem in this otherwise bland strip mall. The food was excellent, very flavorful and unique. Everything was gluten free, which was an added plus. Totally made the GV rotation when we visit!

We want to thank Comedor, especially Rene and Rose, for making our friend's wedding rehearsal dinner so fabulous! Comedor was easy to work with and did an extraordinary job. The food was beautifully prepared and graciously served. To whet our guest's appetite, we ordered the arepas with smoked mozzarella as a passed appetizer. This was followed by a buffet of mixed green salad with a citrus vinaigrette, chicken adobo, rice and sauteed vegetables. Every dish was delicious but the chicken was some of the best I've ever tasted. We received endless complements from our guest for this meal. We heartily recommend Comedor for a casual meal in their café or for catering your special event.

YUM!!! I finally ordered two meals here and will be coming back often... why? Well the food is incredibly delicious and is very healthy. I ordered the arepa plate which was perfect. The arepa was moist and had smoked cheese inside( not a ton which is my preference) and came with flavorful black beans and a scrumptious and very fresh salad with a piquant dressing. I also ordered the chicken adobo plate which came with deliciois collard greens, rice with nuts and the chicken adobo. Delish!!! I also just had to Try the pandebono, I couldn't quite figure out what it was by reading about so had to have one, plus I love guava.. It's like a hollow Brazilian pao de quiejo with a delicate spoonful of guava jam inside. Yes, that was incredible!!! I have no photos but next time will add some. Comedor has lovely ambiance and seating areas. I am so happy they are here!!!

We used to mark our calendars to eat Renee's food at the local Creekside Farm stand! Finally he and Rosie started their own restaurant, and it's excellent. I really appreciate a restaurant which sources as many local suppliers/farmers as possible -- and they do. tTe arepa plate with smoked cheese inside, is my absolute favorite. I got the chicken (adobo-style) and my friend got the pork belly/little gem combination. The ambiance, with colorful art gathered from around the world, and beautiful wood used for the tables, makes it warm and inviting. There are a few small tables outside, too if that's your preference. Don't forget to try the dessert: whatever the chef & his family is making, it's sure to be delicious.

Finally a place in our town that's different from hamburgers, pizza and salad. The food was amazing! The Colombian chef obviously knows what he's doing.
