Where to Eat In Paris Right Now - Paris - The Infatuation

"You won’t find tacos at this sunlit, all-white canteen that opened a block from Gare du Nord station in November. But you will find Mexican dishes like encacahuatadas (theirs features mushrooms smothered in a creamy mole sauce with peanuts and smoked pepper), and huarache, a plate of corn tortillas topped with shredded pork, black beans, and a tower of fresh herbs. Comer is only open for dinner on Thursday and Friday nights, but we prefer lunch Tuesday through Friday anyway. Grab one of the cushion-less stools and settle in for the three-course prix fixe that’s just €28. (You can order à la carte, too.) Whatever you do, don’t skip the rice pudding with toasted coconut and citrus." - Sara Lieberman

Outstanding experience. The best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, and without hesitating the best in Paris. The food is delicious and freshly made. The staff is friendly and welcoming. A large selection of traditional alcohol is offered. The restaurant is modern and clean, the only downside is that by being small it can become noisy. Highly recommended, booking is mandatory.

Everything was perfect, the food is just the right balance between experimental and authentic, nothing pretentious and you can feel they cook with passion. I can only recommend this place if you want to escape the tacos and burritos fake Mexican craze in paris! Gracias Chef!

Mexican American here who now lives in Paris. My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant so much. The food is not the traditional Mexican style, but they take the authentic Mexican flavors and elevate them in a tasteful manner. We had the menu which included six dishes total, including the dessert. All were amazing. Molé is my favorite Mexican dish and I loved their version with the vegetables. My husband’s favorite was the al pastor tacos. They were so full of flavor. My only wish is that the side salsas would have more of a kick to them, but they were still delicious. Recomendado para algo diferente que honra la cocina mexicana.

Was so excited to go here and I’m really happy it met my expectations. Food is delicious. The menu is small but I loved just almost every dish. (Didn’t love the eggplant, but I don’t really like eggplant usually and the addition of some very pungent parsley when I was expecting cilantro was kinda unpleasant) Favorites were the tuna tostada and al pastor. Oh and the corn cake dessert was even better than I imagined, so so good I’d go back for just that. I like that they have a variety or corn and use it throughout the dishes. Also they have more agave spirits than most places in Paris. I think it would be 5 stars for me if it were a bit more comfortable to sit and eat. It’s pretty high end food (with fun and bold flavors) but my (admittedly tall) husband could barely fit his legs under the table and the stools weren’t adjustable. It’s got this small take out feel aesthetically even though the food and drinks invite you to sit and stay a while. Anyway I’ll definitely be back. Service was also perfect and friendly. Great meal.

Contenporary Mexican cuisine, the best I've had in Europe. All the dishes had a small twist, but the flavors were really balanced. The menu is small, with quality ingredients. They have a few vegetarian items as well. (I wish there were more, but I know France is not the place for it.) We arrived with big suitcases, before heading home. The place was full, but they still did their best to fit us along with our luggage. All in all a five-star experience. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

Haute cuisine without the pretentiousness which is found in so many restaurants around Paris. Everyone is seated at the high tables or counters and eagerly awaiting the next course to be brought out by the staff. Every dish is explained by the waiter and any questions are happily answered. I noted on the online reservation request that we would be celebrating my wife's birthday. Without any other discussion, requests, or prompting they delivered out desert that evening with a candle and a song - above and beyond the call of duty! Totally an enjoyable culinary evening!

À lovely little Mexican place in a sea of not Mexican places. Good food, nice people. Winner.

This place is a hidden gem, truly! As I shared with the server, we recently moved to France. A move I didn’t completely welcome and one thing I dreaded was a lack of good and honest Mexican food. This place cured my craving and gave me comfort. The food was well prepared and the flavors were enjoyable. We had the tuna ceviche tostadas, the flautas, and pork tacos along with brownie for desert. The small details in each dish made the food that much more memorable. We will be returning often. Thank you!
