Comet

This ride is barely younger than my grandparents but runs smoother than a polished rock. The airtime is perfect and the atmosphere is amazing (especially at night). This ride gives a nostalgic feeling and always gets the job done. This ride tends to get long lines throughout the day but it’s totally worth it overall. It’s fun for the whole family and a great thrill in the park. 8/10

Out of all the wooden roller coasters I've been on this is one of my favorites. I always get bummed if I can't ride this when I go to Hersheypark. This coaster was built in the 40's and the amazing thing is how well Hersheypark maintains this thing, you ride it and you'd think it was brand new, it's not super smooth, but smoother than most old wooden roller coasters. Has a fun out and back layout and many moments of airtime! This is also a very good dusk and night ride! I think it's neat that each train has a name. One is Haley and the other is Mork. LONG LIVE COMET

This was a very fun coaster, but it was VERY shaky and jolted us around a lot. My husband was in a lot of pain after, but overall it's a lot of fun.

Best coaster ever you should go on this coaster this is my favorite wooden coaster. This is my favorite coaster at Hershey Park.

Rode for the first time in June 2022. Waited a lifetime for this ride as I missed out on it when it was in Crystal Beach when I was a small kid. I moved all the way West but was in the area over the summer so finally got to experience the Comet! Ride is everything I had heard it would be. Amazing speed and drops. So many that after 4 times riding it I was starting to feel sick! Six Flags should definitely show The Comet some love and spruce up the ramp up to the ride and treat it to a fresh coat of paint. Hopefully I get back for another ride some day!

Very nice coaster! I was very surprised at how smooth it was for a wooden coaster. The line was forever long though, much longer than even for the bigger coasters! Glad they have fans with misters in the lines, that is exceptionally helpful! Great coaster!

I went to Hersheypark with my significant other. We decided to give this ride a chance. We stood in line for Comet and it didn’t take too long to get on. This ride felt like a classic to me. The first drop was excellent! It did feel like a long ride. Overall, I thought it was great. I would definitely ride it again. Date of visit: 05/23/24

This is a amazing roller coaster. It is very easy for beginners, but still thriling. It has a max speed 50 mph and a height of 90 feet. I would highly recommend for all riders! As long as you are at least 42 inches tall, you can ride.
