Commas Food Hall

Very cool!!! This mall was always kind of lame with lack luster cheap stores. But they have really elevated this place by adding this cool food hall. There’s an upscale style bar where you can bring the food you get from the various food stations. Lots of awesome international food options. I spoke at length with the bartender at C3 and the owner of MoMo the Nepalese dumpling joint. All very authentic with good vibes and great people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I hope this place picks up more because it is cool for the mall to have. There is a lot of seating, great for larger groups. But, it is sort of tucked up in a corner and not super clear how to get to, or get out of if you accidentally come up the direct escalator. I bumped into a woman who stopped me asking how to get out, as you cannot go back down the escalator. Food wise there’s a lot of variety, but some of it just feels like it’s a bit pricey. My husband and I split one of the cheesesteak sandwiches (which was delicious), but was also almost $20 just for one. It’s cool that they have a bar area though. Lots of water stations with different options which was cool and they have a bunch of games at the tables through out (connect 4, that hook and string game) I just wish it wasn’t as empty feeling and had a bit more affordable options.

Stopped for a quick lunch - ended up going to Momo Hub- Nepalese food. Outstanding meal - got the classic steamed chicken dumplings. Fresh, hot, just spicy enough and just delicious. Highly recommend. Did take about 10-15 min, which is fine but didn’t anticipate that. Also way overcharged for 16 oz bottle of Diet Coke— $4. But delicious overall. They probably should be reviews for individual restaurants there rather than one food hall in general.

A small food court inside this mall. It is pretty new and it was a great idea to use that space. The food options are diverse and they offer free water on site. They have events on weekends for kids and family, live music, or face painting for example.

We tried J&J Mex and tried the Pastor tacos and Barbacoa quesadilla. Both were really good. Also tried the Philly Cheesesteak which was amazing! Overall atmosphere for the soft opening was good. The customer service and food quality was amazing and hoping it stays consistent once it gets busier.

Great spot to grab some food and chill. Outside food is welcomed, and a water fountain is available. I HIGHLY recommend #Tatos @CravingTatos their fries are awesome.

It's a food hall with independent vendors & a bar. If visiting: 1. 3rd level of Ellsworth Place. 2. As of June 2025, 3 vendors (tex-mex, Nepalese & potato) are open 3. It has a water station & restroom 4. Bonus - it has a bar inside Plenty of seating.

Ooooh a new food hall! If you remember Le Fantome (RIP), you may recognize some staff and cocktails at the bar here. I haven't been a good month and a half and I'm sure new spots have opened up, but there was still a good amount of things there when I visited. Some things were familiar, and some were totally new to me. I've had Momo Hub at their food truck and was quite frankly obsessed back then -- so it was nice to have them again. I'm no stranger to Tokoa Cheesesteaks since their brick-and-mortar isn't far from my home... great sandwich! And J&J has popped up in a few other food halls, so I've had and enjoyed them. The new one to me is Tato's, which makes some creative and custom french fry, sweet potato fry, or tater platters for you. I was so stoked to see a Jamaican one on the menu -- and of course I got it lol. They were fantastic, I love them. There is plenty of seating in the food hall, and there's an automatic dispenser for beers and ciders... you don't see those too often! And according to their site, looks like there are still some stalls on the way... and I appreciate the maps they have available. Looking forward to paying them a visit again in the near future!

I stopped in to Commas Food Hall last weekend, and it felt like a modern community vibe. Several food vendors. The space has food, good energy, and plenty to explore. We tried a few vendors including C3Bar, Claude Have Mercy, Tatos, J&J Mex Taqueria While we were there, a CocuSocial sushi class was happening in the back. Between the food options, live music moments, open seating, and gaming areas, it's the kind of place where you can grab a meal, hang out, arrange a date night, or just take a break from holiday shopping. You can even host events there !

I visited Commas on a Friday night and sat at the bar. They have a menu of "pairings" where you pick a drink and a snack (from another vendor in the hall). I paired the watermelon margarita with the chips & queso from the taqueria, hubs paired another drink (forgot which) with their chicken taquitos. I was actually very happy with the margarita, it is hard to find a good one in this area. I also enjoyed the chips and queso, the cheese had chorizo in it which gave it extra flavor. It isn't spicy like a green chile queso (my favorite) but was still good enough that I would order it again. I snagged one of hubs' taquitos and it was tasty. I love the individual fully private stalls in the gender neutral bathrooms, it makes so much more sense to do it this way but got a good chuckle at this guy who stopped himself from wandering in, when he saw me washing my hands, then went down the hall, came in through the far door... and again saw me washing my hands. Too funny! I want to try some of the other vendors when we are hungry enough for more than a snack. Many vendors aren't open yet though. There is lots of seating, though none of the comfy booths like they have at Solaire Social. The bar here is much better though my opinion was based on a single visit to each (better drinks, friendlier bartender). I hope people will come and that they succeed. When I was there there were a few groups at the bar and only a couple more scattered throughout the food hall.

This was my first visit to the food hall that occurred on a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded. Only 6 out of 12 food vendor spaces were occupied. I tried J & J Mex-Taqueria and ordered 2 fish tacos. It took 20 minutes to wait, but the cook was not busy with many orders. The tacos were good, but small when compared to tacos at Cafe Rio or California Tortilla. The dining area is large and clean. There is a water machine that dispenses sparkling or regular water. The restrooms are not separated into men and women sections, but are shared. Hope to see more food vendors occupy the spaces so there is more variety.

What a gem in a sort of sleepy mall food court! We tried a few things - the standouts were the Momo Hub dumplings and chatamari and the loaded Mexican baked potato from Tatos. I'd definitely be back to try a few more things. The live music was also a hit - made it feel more like a date night and less like a food court. ;)

Food was good and service was great! We tried momo hub and tatos and enjoyed the food. We got the momos and while it was a like spicy, it was delicious. The loaded fries were perfect and comforting. You can choose a baked potato, wedges or fries and load them up with a protein, sauces and toppings. Overall it was great, just a little pricey! I look forward to trying more options.

Loved the new vendors and stalls! Some are still opening, but what's there so far was pleasant. We loved the unique bathroom situation as well as the free sparkling water. Only downside is the location for real. Walking through chaos, religious rants, and police presence takes away from an amazing place. Hoping the area itself gets better, but doubt it. Had MomoHub for lunch and found it delicious. I think I'm going to suggest my book club go here for a meeting. Will be great with the central bar.

I'd rate The Champs Kitchen 100 stars if I could. Each dish was tasty! If you don't get anything else, get the "Jah Like Hot" Egg Roll!
