Selfridge ANGB Commissary

Great service, clean store and it's an easy shopping experience due to low customer density.

We love our Selfridge ANGB Commissary. It has an excellent selection of foods, deli items, baked goods and other household products at very competitive prices. If you're into saving additional money with coupons, all coupons are accepted here.

Nice grocery store, great prices and good military people that work in the store just don't go on Mondays. No, help with your groceries. I still appreciate everything.

First time visiting and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything from the service to the food exceeded expectations. A hidden gem for sure. Will definitely be back for more.

Shopped the commissary for the first time and was very impressed. The store was clean, neat, well organized, and well stocked. Prices were very competitive and clearly posted. The surprise came when our groceries were packed for us and then carried to our car. We will be back again and again.

My wife and I have come here for years. I was stationed here for 3 months in 1981. Always clean and friendly staff. Great prices too!

For the past 12 years I have been coming here. This base and commissary improves every year. Service here is always outstanding and this place is very clean and organized. Their deli fits and serves it purpose here at lunch time. Sandwiches, salads, and chips are great here. A special note to all my fellow veterans you don't need an ID. Your SSN is sufficient trust me when I tell you. They will verify you at the gate. Love this place it's never disappointment. GO NAVY!!! That's is all. Chief If your men are hungry feed then first before you feed yourself. Take care of your men because in the end. Each other is all you will have.

Great prices, awesome service. The ambiance is quiet. You can enjoy shopping here. Very customer and people friendly.

It is a small grocery store, sharing a lot of the main exchange (department store) and express (liquor store). The prices are pretty good, you can do better at Krogers or Walmart with sales, but the nonsale prices are pretty good, and you can use coupons on top of them. You do need to watch the prices, because the food is at cost, but there is a 5% surcharge added on at check out. Veterans with a VA disability rating, who were just added as customers, also pay a small surcharge if they pay by card.

The base Commissary is like a civilian grocery store, except is it on base and restricted to military personnel. It is a self-sustaining not-for-profit agency which completely pays it's own way. Therefore, it is not a 'perk' given to the military, but rather a benefit provided to those who serve, and have served, in the Armed Forces. This store is a bit over 10 years old, but it is always clean and bright, both inside and out. The prices are reduced from those outside the base, so it saves us military vets considerable money to shop here. They also accept manufacturers coupons, allowing military veterans to leverage their spending power and get just a little more for their money. The Yelp app asked if they have valet service here - no they don't.

I've shopped here for 20+ yrs. they have a large selection of all name brand grocery items plus some items not usually available at other local supermarkets. The staff is always ready to help. The deli & produce departments are always clean & fully stocked. Fruit or deli trays are available with advance notice and are large & always look appealing. The last plus is they take your groceries out to your vehicle at no extra charge.

One of the smaller commissaries I've ever shopped at, the good news is I've never seen a line here (haven't stopped in for payday shopping though). Easy to get to, easy to navigate, easy check out line, and out you go! A little out of the way for me (30 min drive) for daily or weekly shopping, but a great place to stop to stock up on staples once a month. Part of my shopping rotation!

Great prices on some things! Frozen section needs work. Freezers smell bad and a lot of frost burnt things.

We've been shopping here since 2000. We've seen a lot of changes throughout the store and the PX since then. They have a nice selection of food and products similar to Kroger but my wife isn't a fan of their produce section. I enjoy everything about the commissary.
