Amazing bagel sandwich with crisp bacon and a perfectly cooked egg with a jammy yolk. Iced coffee was fine but unmemorable. S’mores cookie is a 10/10. One star knocked off because it’s very a cramped space and layout, but understood given the building.

Even though a small cafe, their food sets it off in a big way. The menu consists of breakfast, sandwiches, smoothies and chilled coffee drinks. My visit my party and i chose sandwiches and they did not disappoint. Their very unique sandwich names like The Elm, the Falls and the BLT was delish. Smoothies were good too!! Service was quick, and you had the choice of indoor or outdoor dining. If in the area, try them out.

A very tight space. Exceptionally rude cashier. They automatically add a tip for take out....I always tip regardless, but that is just so presumptious. However, the coffee and muffin were very good.

This place was pretty good. Went by with a friend while visiting Baltimore and got a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. It was super crowded inside the day we went, and we had to go outside in the tent to eat. It was cold and rainy, too, and there were only a couple tables under the tarp. I felt bad that there were some others who sat outside where there wasn't any overhead covering. On the other hand, the sandwich provided temporary warmth and satiation: the cheese was gooey and the bagel good. I felt it could've used a tad more salt, however, and the egg could have been just a little less dry from overcooking, but it was good nonetheless. We didn't stay long, as it was cold and wet as I mentioned, but from the food I had, I'd go back, probably for another chance to try some of their pastries. They had a lot of branded merch, and plenty of food items to pick from on the menu. It seems to be a hot spot for brunch and coffee, so keep that in mind in terms of crowding. 4/5 stars

Wonderful coop cafe! Egg & cheese bagel was sooo tasty & fresh. Coffee & service were great. Enjoyed the vibe, worked at one of the tables for a while with light chatter around & artwork on the walls. Perfect neighborhood coffee shop. Edit: came here to add that all of their food & drinks are tasty & made with flavorful, fresh ingredients. Seasonal lavender lemonade (with thyme if I remember correctly?) was divine!

Wonderful little co-op with great service and very kind employees. Their matcha lemonade was delicious, and their sandwiches are lovely. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Love the local art for sale and the free little library inside too.

If a struggling artist were to receive $15 to treat themselves, where do they go? The place that has generous portions? The place with good vibes and warm, genuine people? The place with great muffins and palate-pleasing coffee drinks? The place where a genuine meetup with a friend, a creative flow session, or a community gathering on the sunny patio are all encouraged? No need to make the distinction with Common Grounds - it fits the bill! From monthly specialty drinks like the Rose Kiss to the wonderful *and huge* vegan muffins, the lovely folks at Common Grounds are doing it right. Did I mention C.G. is a worker-owned hub? So, community is a big part of what they're about, which translates to the artistic crowd, the retired, the pet parent, the community activists, and the family all being welcomed equally. And they open earlier than most spots! So, to my early-risers, welcome home!
