The 28 Best London Coffee Shops With Wifi For Getting Work Done

"A stumble away from Clapham Common tube station, Common is a snug, all-day cafe. It’s ideal for tapping away on your laptop for a few hours (the plug points are towards the back and the front corner, so get here early to grab those coveted spots), or for a post-work cocktail. If you’re enamoured with the trinkets on display, you can likely buy them from the in-house boutique. " - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Common - Review - Clapham - London - The Infatuation

"A stumble away from Clapham Common tube station, Common is a cosy cafe and one-stop shop whether you come during the day or evening. It’s ideal for tapping away on your laptop for a few hours during the week (hot tip: the plug points are towards the back and the front corner), for a quick post-work cocktail (it’s open until 9pm every day), or gossiping over toasted banana bread at the weekend. But our favourite time of day is the afternoon, when sunlight floods the airy space and terrace tables out front. Plus, if you’re enamoured with the trinkets on display, like pretty vases and bamboo trays, you can likely buy it from their in-house boutique. See, we said it was a one-stop shop. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Daisy Meager

Love the furniture selection here, it gives such a charming antique vibe. The coffee is excellent and the service warm and welcoming. There’s also a little retail corner with products from carefully chosen niche brands. Absolutely worth a visit.

Excellent coffee shop ! The decoration is superb, the food and drinks are amazing. The service is great as well. It’s the perfect place to go to enjoy delicious bakeries. Plus, there is a small store inside where you can buy cute stuff. I would definitely recommend this place !

A very lovely café with an antique vibe and tasty carrot cake! I spent some time working from there today, the interior is absolutely charming. Also has free wifi.

Got charged £5.40 instead of £4.80 for an iced latte and when I asked about it they said it’s a service charge? Offered no solution and I felt too awkward to ask for a refund with the cashier just stood looking at me.. Sorry but I feel like a 12.5% service charge needs to be written clearly on BOTH sides of your menu (it’s only on the back side with the alcohol list) or mentioned to your customers when charging them. Really cute cafe and a good iced latte but these prices are absurd :(

Very cute place with the atmosphere of this cozy district. The interior and exterior are amazing. Some great food was spotted here, so I would guess if it looks good - it tastes good too. Coffee is provided by the Assembly coffee roasters, and we all know - it is a level ;) The pastry is good and goes very fast. A small shop with some stuff is available as well. Lively

Late review @commonclapham what amazing little gem for a spot of brunch. Staff and atmosphere are absolute delight. For the brunch French toast is must try. Nice selection of coffee and hot drinks. Most of all it’s dog friendly 🐶 @commonclapham you get a massive 👍 from me! Will be back soon.

A lovely cafe and shop at Clapham Common. Having walked past it over several years, we finally visited the Common for brunch. The cafe was busy but we were lucky to get a table outside without a very long wait. The menu is limited and that's always a good sign of freshness from the kitchen. The coffee was good and the eggs were nice too. The salad dressing was a tad bit sweet. The shop has some cool stuff as well. A nice spot for brunch if one is ever around Clapham Common. Service was very slow but that's because there was few staff for a full cafe.

I do love the place for its location and interior but the matcha is not good. Tastes like the powder contains sweetener and it was not well blended. Would go back for coffee and a snack but not the matcha

Yelp
We wanted a vegan meal, as I was at the counter I saw the waitress use the same serving equipment she used to move some Palmer ham, for my salad! When I pointed that out, she was rude and denied what I had seen. We left and will never go back. Poor.
