Best Meals Food & Wine Editor’s Had in April

"As a perfect way to end any meal, this drink is creamy with a rich minty flavor and a generous swirl of whipped cream. It’s truly such a spectacular adult-version of a milkshake. 10/10, highly recommend." - Alexandra Domrongchai

"Common Mollie’s is a bar styled with a 1970s vibe—lots of wood, dart boards, a big projector, and emerald-green booths. It’s a go-to for cheap drinks and hanging out in a uniquely designed setting." - Eric Do

Stopped in for a bit for the first time on a Thursday evening and we will definitely be back. You can feel the good vibes as soon as you step in the door. The atmosphere created with the decor and lighting *chefs kiss* Staff was super friendly and chill. Love the pop up bites! On our visit it was Better Than Porridge; we had the wings and sausage both of which were great. All in all great spot for a fun hang.

This is one of my favorite bars in Brooklyn! It’s the perfect neighborhood bar to gather with friends, hang alone, dance, hit up pop-ups, drink spritz outside and enjoy the sunset. The staff is always amazing and I love how accommodating they are!

Saturday night was awesome. The DJ line up was absolutely flawless. Izzy Holmes, DJ UNT.IL & Tromac held it down. Khadjah had let us know a few Saturdays before that they hosted DJ’s in the evening so we made the effort to come and we were happy we did. We met Albi my first visit to Common Mollies. Albi is legit the BEST. Love. Love. Love! Common Mollies is a consistent great time.

The Frida’s Frozen Punch is the best frozen drink I’ve had in my life.

Common Mollies has great beers, cocktails, and local food vendor pop-ups. Happy Hour is the best time to go as it is usually not crowded and makes for a great bar to hang out with friends. Keith always has a pup cup ready for our dog when we come in on Fridays. We love this comfy neighborhood hang!

Yelp
I came because I'll follow Iain wherever he goes. He's the best bartender ever. When I came they had 'glizzies' aka hot dogs . They were amazing. I've been here 3x since. I recommend the Peach Mai Tai and mollys mint lemonade . They have a lot of pop ups here. Anyways come casual and comfy with your friends and have a good time

Yelp
Loved it when it was Matt Torrey's, love it now that it's Common Mollies. No frills, lotsa seats, usually a dog or two, several cocktail options. What's not to love

Yelp
Great new neighborhood spot. The cocktails are really yummy and decently priced during happy hour. I recommend the mint lemonade if you like a vodka based drink that's not too sweet. Plenty of room for bigger parties but cozy as well in those back booths. Also dog friendly!!

Yelp
Busy bar - rather what you'd expect as they cater to every taste. One tv for football, some dance music playing and a pop up wings place for food. A tv with a nature show. Another with MTV spring break. A dart board. The only place to serve a gin and tonic sans lime. And they play Radio. free Europe by REM. No real theme but you can have fun.
