I visited Common Wealth Crush and absolutely loved it, I can't wait to go back. Kylie was there, showed us around the facility, and led us through a tasting flight. She explained the grapes, wines, their focus on low-intervention, and the vision of the company so well. This place is doing inventive, interesting, and pivotal things that will likely impact the broader US wine industry in the years to come. If you're interested in ways wines are made, differences winemakers can make in their wines, and tasting some COOL wine, you definitely need to go and try a flight. They have wines you've tasted before and some you might not have heard of, which is what makes wine so much fun. I can't wait to go back!

Natural winery with a lot of approachable options. You walk in and it feels like you’ve just walked into your best mate’s home. Roshi, (manager) provided such a warm space, paired with a wealth of knowledge about the wines they offer. My friends and I gave her a rundown of the wines we typically like to drink and she curated a dealer’s choice flight that matched us each perfectly. We frequent Charlottesville area wineries often and will 100% be adding this place to our rotation and spreading the word about commonwealth crush!

Low intervention and biodynamic winery gem tucked behind Basic City doing such interesting work for Virginia wine. Boast a beautiful tasting room with a polished and knowledgeable staff and creative offerings.

The tasting room at Common Wealth Crush is a great space to sample the wines being produced under the various labels including Common Wealth, Midland, Lightwell, and Star Party. Everyone in our party got a flight and enjoyed every single one of the wines we sampled. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping in to taste the wide variety of wines here.

The orange wine is a must-try! Truly the best Virginia has to offer. The tasting room has a great and relaxing vibe perfect for bringing together a small group of family and friends. Super cool too cos there was a rock artist last time I was there. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
