Best Restaurants at Gillette Stadium | Eater Boston

"Just off 495, this year-round barbecue spot only offers outdoor seating, making it the perfect stop with a big group (and kids). The menu is heavy on smoked meat platters, with the St. Louis-style ribs being a standout, but don’t skip the handhelds and burritos. The Further South with pulled pork or chicken and black beans is a savory delight." - Tanya Edwards

First time here and won't be our last! I brought my husband here for his birthday dinner and this place didn't disappoint. He tried the pork ribs with collard greens and cowboy beans, all of which he loved. I tried the Mac & meat, the pulled pork was great. We also brought home a side of the bourbon glazed pork belly (AMAZING). Can't wait for our next trip.

Google
I have been here a handful of times, it never disappoints! I've had the wings, chicken sandwich, pulled pork. This time I got a small snack- the jalapeno poppers and the chilli with cornbread. The poppers were unique and would def get again. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu

Google
this is an authentic barbecue stop. came here with the kids after going to Wrentham outlets was very surprised with the quality. I would suggest anyone stop in here and try this spot. This is an outdoor dining experience

Google
Happy I finally got here. Got the Single Platter with brisket, collard greens, and sweet potato fries. Cornbread was included. Very good. Doesn't look like much but I was full halfway through. One thing: surcharge for card transactions. Google isn't quite clear on how you get there either so be careful.

Google
This was literally a meal that made my entire day. The flavor and the spices from this meat is making me smile ear to ear. I had the pork belly which is the juiciest piece of meat since Georgia this guy is top-tier, and boy does he know how to cook some barbecue!!! I don’t know who he is. He wears a hat and had what I thought was a goatee, but I’ll tell you what That pork belly will set you free with that bourbon glaze. Never mind the habanero hot sauce. OH. MY. GOD.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The shredded pork is also outstanding. I included a picture of that too in the cup. You have to go there and try this! It’s tender. It’s flavorful it’s juicy and you just leave feeling happy. I’m not sure if the fat hit my brain or what but I feel like Extra pep in my step from all that goodness like a new level of dopamine it.

Google
I have been coming here since they opened. They do a great job with their meats. My daughter and I absolutely love the beef ribs. They are extremely tender and flavorful. The meat falls off the bone. Delicious with or without barbecue sauce. Commonwealth BBQ is a smoke shack on 1a near 495 with two windows. The left window is where you order. Then they give you a number and you wait at a picnic table or in your car for them to yell out your number like a rigged bingo game. You know it's going to happen. You can eat there at the picnic tables, in your car with a ton of napkins and wet Wipes, just wait until you get home.. They wrap the meat in foil, everything stays hot. Tonight my daughter bad a half-rack of beef ribs, mac n cheese and chili. I had the same, except corn on the cob instead of mac n cheese. Both came with cornbread! Food was absolutely delicious! We took it home. The smell permeated my vehicle. It was like a Pavlovs experiment. Definitely recommend, especially the beef ribs! The chili is also delicious and full of meat! Get a full rack, they're just as good the next day.

Google
Retro roadside BBQ pit. Bourbon pork belly bites are out of this world. Collard greens are super vinegary with some kick from sausage. We only tried the pork ribs last time, but they were fantastic. I don’t pass through the area often but will likely stop here the next time I do.

Google
I had the food picked up for us. had the pulled pork sandwich & The delicious brisket sandwich too. and we have the chili probably the best chili ever had. it looks like pieces of actually meat and so thick and zesty can be ....what flavor.. The cornbread was great and the rice and beans were wonderful. ah with so much flavor!!!

Yelp
I dislike the way their brisket tastes in comparison to most any other BBQ spots in New England, it's worth driving another hour to BTs BBQ in Sturbridge. The sides also don't seem to taste anything like most BBQ spots

Yelp
Told me 20 minutes. After waiting 35 minutes, I nicely approached the counter to ask if my order had been called. After the (very polite) cashier asked the kitchen, two men in the kitchen staff turned around and berated me, "it'll be ready when it's ready!" "it's father's day be patient!" It ultimately took over 40 mins, and while that alone wouldn't be a problem, getting barked at by the kitchen staff is too off-putting to come back.

Yelp
If i could leave 0 stars i would!! How this place has a 4.5 rating is beyond me and i hope the owner sees this because both people that work there would be fired!!! Me and my husband have been goin here off and on since they opened and always loved their food. Ordered almost $50 worth of food drove 15 minutes there and back to get home to see they forgot part of my order so had to drive all the way back to get it and yes i wanted refund for mac n cheese plus the food as now its total hour drive time the guy hands it to me and says now you can drive an hour as i complained i drove 15 minutes here. They hand me the mac n cheese and its ice cold so i said something and other kid laughs and says you can microwave it when you get home! Like what!!! If i was the owner i would fire both of them immediately!! Worst customer service in my life!!! Got commonwealth sandwich asked for coleslaw on side ,cucumber salad ,mac n cheese and bourbon pork belly Didnt get mac n cheese or coleslaw on side and the bourbon pork belly looked as dry as shoe leather and portion was soo not worth $14 with its spoonful of rice and 6 tiny pieces that didnt even have glaze on it! Really wish i paid with card to dispute the charges and get full refund!

Yelp
Disappointment- displeasure caused by the nonfulfillment of one's hope or expectations I will now use the word in a sentence: I was disappointed by the Commonwealth BBQ experience. The food was bland. I had the pulled pork sandwich and I wasn't wowed. I wasn't even slightly interested enough to want to try more things here. The blue cheese was ok- could be better. The coleslaw was not good. Not creamy at all, dry. The cornbread was ok.

Yelp
Good food, the 2 meat platter is a lot of food so we could probably split it. As it stands we will enjoy it leftover tomorrow as well. I have had a lot of really good BBQ including in Texas, so I am giving 3 stars - its good.

Yelp
Had the beef ribs with beans and Mac. Ribs were huge and tasty, cornbread is delicious. Beans were ok and so was Mac. I would definitely visit again to try the prom ribs. Great service!

Carolyn S.

Yelp
Food was nice and tender, pre-proportioned and fulfilling. The brisket and cucumber salad were my favorites! Great value for the amount of food you order!

Yelp
Ordered the pork plate with 2 sides my dad ordered Ribs and everything was amazing. I'm from NC and found it on yelp

Yelp
My friend who lives not too far away from here recommended this place for BBQ and since we were visiting, we had to try the BBQ here in New England! We drove in to get dinner before the movies on Saturday night. And for dinner at 7 pm, there were a couple of people (two parties) ahead of us ordering and waiting for their food. Our party of 4 decided to order the Wampum Sampler and also the Pork Belly (which is drenched in this lovely bourbon syrup over black beans and rice). Although the Wampum Sampler says that it's for (two or more), I would argue that it's definitely for it's for at least three, if not four or more. The Wampum comes with a variety of different meats (ribs, chicken thighs, sausage, pulled pork, and brisket) and a variety of sides (coleslaw, both regular fries and sweet potato fries, your choice of collard greens and something else, baked beans, and two servings of cornbread). The fries are pretty good and crispy! The Wampum Sampler was really good and an ample amount of food. The ribs are fall of the bone tender and everything was seasoned so well. The sides are also quite tasty. The four of us finished MAYBE 60% of the food if I'm being generous. I would definitely recommend sharing with a larger party if you're going to order it. The pork belly was also pretty tasty--really sweet so if you're more into savory foods. The black beans and rice are a nice addition but kinda take away from the sweetness of the overall dish a little bit. Overall, would definitely recommend and come back. This place has really good BBQ, and not just by New England's standards. I will say though that if you're planning on dining at this location, that there are only outdoor picnic benches available so maybe consider taking it to-go if it's cold/bad weather out.

Yelp
Food: One and only awesome bbq in Bristol county! Pork ribs, pulled bbq sandwiches and even the veggie wrap is cool!!! Yes! I said it - VEGGIE wrap is also cool! And side - my fav cucumber salad. You cant wrong with any of them, the slaw, the corn bread yum! Service: First class, you can order online or go there and order, and your food will be ready in less than 10 mins! Ambiance: Great place for summer to sit there and eat.

Yelp
Roadside stand with picnic tables, might have been a gas station in a past life... but now it's a great place to grab some 'Q before hitting the outlets (or after... or anytime, really). Brisket is the star here, but everything satisfies. Nice meaty wings, rich collard greens. Ask for the awesome cranberry habanero sauce if you like it hot. Fast, efficient window service.

Yelp
Ok so I thought this was pretty good. If I were in Jacksonville Florida I'd rate them a 2-3. However, I'm not in the south, I'm New England and based on that it's good bbq. Your choices are limited and it's a cool family spot. Outdoor seating and just a fun place to be. The BBQ is good by northern standards.

Eric I.

Yelp
This place is great. Excellent offerings and great sauces. Definitely better than the 3.5 stars it's getting. This is solid, tasty bbq at reasonable prices.

Yelp
Today started as a "bro day" with my close friend (let's call him) AJ who graciously took a day off from his job selling robots to join me a on an unapologetic jaunt through the great city of Wrentham. Our primary objective was to race karts at the supercharged race track which we heard was the largest in the country. However much to our dismay, the track opened at 1pm and we arrived at 11am prompting us to seek sustenance elsewhere. A quick google search revealed commonwealth BBQ as a well reviewed lunch spot nearby so we drove over after a brief discussion about gorging on slowly cooked meat at 11am on a week day. Shortly after arrival we met Jesus in the form of a golden retriever in the sidecar of a motorcycle. He was goggled up and cute as a button. After being politely discouraged from sharing a single meal we decided to go hard and order more than was socially acceptable by any self-respecting human with self control or dignity. We proceeded to tear through 7.5lbs of meat, starch, and corn with reckless abandon... AJ, a semi professional speed eater tore through the chicken buffalo sandy in 30 seconds flat before taking down a pound of fries and half a stack of ribs. I kept up and together we polished off all our meat before the clock struck noon. It was absolutely delicious. I would eat it again right now if my poor, tormented colon could handle another protein load of astronomic proportion. We then proceeded to drive go karts in circles for an hour and nearly returned our digested meat to the outside world. And the outside world would be grateful. It was that good. Would give 6 stars if they served beer.

Yelp
Great quality BBQ !!! Our family has been going to this BBQ spot since it opened. As a transplant from the Western USA, I was thrilled to have down to earth old school BBQ locally. The owner could not be more welcoming. Regardless how hot or busy, he is cheerful, polite, and professional The food is unique and reflects the years of award winning work by the owner in BBQ. They provide a number of different BBQ sauces via self serve dispensers. Remember to grab a few to sample ! One will certainly meet you needs. My son's favorite is the stuffed jalapeño peppers and Mason Dixon sandwich. My wife also loves the Mason Dixon. I usually get the burrito and a large side of Cowboy beans. They also cater. So consider them when you need some platters of great BBQ. The restaurant in a legacy walk up restaurant. As a result the bathroom is small by modern standards. The smokers are out back. The owner makes a good effort to maintain this vintage property. The picnic tables are all around and numerous. Covered tales are present by the ordering windows. Uncovered picnic tables are present in grassy areas on both sides of the restaurant. My son loves this restaurant so much that when we drive out of state to visit him in college, take out is in the car. This is quality BBQ from an owner who works hard and cares !

Yelp
This place is pretty good! I come for the beef rib which is nice and I really can't get it anywhere else. The coleslaw is great but a little different from what most people are used to be I like it.
google avatar

Mike F.

Yelp
You drive up and it really looks like a Deep South BBQ place. It was rainy so I had to eat in my car. The 3 platter came nicely packaged so that it didn't spill everywhere. Before I make my 1/2 trek home I had to taste the cucumber salad- yummy a little sweet with a vinaigrette taste. Also the Mac and cheese - yes perfectly cheesy and the cole slaw - good and fresh but it could use a little more mayo. When I got home I dug into the meat. It was ok. I didn't know that there was not going to be BBQ sauce so the meat was a little dry... however u did get the smoky flavor. All in all this was a good try but I would wait till the summer so u can enjoy it right there. But give it a try if you are a BBQ lover.

Yelp
Went here on 8/20/22 and ordered a platter with brisket, pulled pork, cucumber salad, and sweet potato fries for $30 after tax and a 10% tip. We came here after a workout and this was an awesome portion for 2 - finished all the food, but we were both definitely full. I've driven past this place on the way to the outlets a few times and finally remembered to try it and WOW, this place is GOOD. Really big portions and really juicy meats - I personally really enjoyed the brisket, but the pulled pork was moist and flavorful too. The sauces are awesome - not filled with sugar like some sauces, you can really taste the difference between them. The cucumber salad was basically a bunch of pickles (I had no idea what it was when I ordered, but I'm not complaining) and the sweet potato fries were crispy (but not dry), salted (but not salty), and definitely thick-cut (none of that crispy air stuff that sweet potato fries sometimes are). Not the biggest menu, not the fanciest appearance, not the most glamorous seating but who cares - you're coming here for smoked meat and that's exactly what they're giving. Come here if you want some good BBQ, a hearty meal, or to just be full without spending a fortune. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
This may be my favorite takeout food in Massachusetts. Takeout is very easy and food is make very quick. Chicken tenders dipped in the honey mustard is god- tier. Fries come out piping hot and extremely well seasoned. Would 100% recommend.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
The food here is delicious when the employees listen to what you are trying to order. Otherwise it's so disappointing!! I feel like if you order online they're way less likely to screw it up. If you order on the phone no one seems to pay attention or maybe it's just too loud in there? It's always wrong when I order over the phone.
google avatar

Bob L.

Yelp
This place has a decent outdoor seating area which is nice though it's right next to the main road so don't expect any tranquility when chomping down here. It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble everything and let me tell you that these ribs were tender and packed with delicious beefy flavors! A knife and fork is all that's needed since you can easily pull out a clean bone. I ordered the half rack which came with 4 giant pieces of ribs with a side of coleslaw and potato salad. Both sides were pretty good though I wish the coleslaw was more creamy. The potato salad was good especially with the fried pork rinds in it! All in all it was a giant but satisfying meal. It's by no means a light meal however so if you're coming by here due to it's close proximity to the Wrentham outlets make sure to do this AFTER your shopping! I'll be back to try their other offerings for sure!

Yelp
Best BBQ around! Family favorite for years:) BTW the corn bread is better than my Grandmas!!
google avatar

Mitchell G.

Yelp
This is my favorite BBQ restaurant !! Even when I was out of state for college in CT, I had my parents bring me take out. It is that good ! I enjoy the Mason Dixon BBQ sandwich, and usually add some jalapeño poppers. My Dad is partial to the burrito. It has the same BBQ meat with veggies and rice. Do not forget the sauce. Commonwealth has a number of then. So place some in a cup and find your favorite. For good BBQ, this is the place to go !

Yelp
I hate giving a small business a bad review, but this barbque is just really, really bad. Looked like a rustic roadside bbq joint from the outside so I pulled over spontaneously on my way through town after seeing that they have 4 stars on Yelp. I paid $31 for a 2 meat plate and potato salad. The brisket was overcooked, tough, with lots of fat between the meat, and grey. The pulled pork turned out to be extremely dry chicken breast (they got my order wrong), no smoke flavor. Their potato salad is exactly what you get in the value sized tubs at Market Basket. I'm guessing they hacked their recipe? The beans are equal to a salty very spicy chili. The highlight was the collards. They were heavily spiced and decent. That's what I had for dinner tonight. Despite the decent collards, I was solidly dissapointed. Maybe if they focus on the quality of their food, especially the meat, other customers won't have the same experience.

Yelp
place sticks now the food has gone down hill it's like they don't even try it was the best bbq around now I think Applebee's is better I got some chicken wings to eat doing the Celtics they where rubber just awful
google avatar

Jade L.

Yelp
Never been a huge fan of bbq until I tried this spot. I have to say I've probably been back 5 or 6 more times it's just that good. Definitely the best in town. The pork belly is one of my favorites!
google avatar

Willie F.

Yelp
Solid option for takeout BBQ. I wish they had burnt ends and indoor seating though. If you are in the area and looking for a quick meal then check it out.

Mark S.

Yelp
I ordered over the phone for 4 people, it was a large order. I had requested PU at 5pm and was there on the dot. I got home in 15 minutes and everything was cold. The collard greens were half cooked, the brisket was ice cold, the chicken was horrible, but the ribs were great, the potato salad tasted store bought. What a bummer, and I look like a shlubb bringing home a bad meal. And they got the order wrong too.

Jon S.

Yelp
It's an old gas station with outdoor seating. Service has always been great, and food always delicious. The Buffalo chicken sandwich is spicy, but amazing with a grilled slice of jalapeño. The pulled pork sandwich is always piled high of meat - delicious with the coleslaw! Everything we've had as been really good. They don't have the best drink selection in their cooler, but not a big deal at all!
google avatar

Ian L.

Yelp
During the slower hours of the day, you'd drive by this place thinking it was an abandoned property. WELL DON'T because you're gonna miss A LOT of great barbecue if you do. Beef ribs aren't as common up here as they are down south, I figured I'd give them a try. I got a half order of Beef Ribs which came with two sides. For my sides I had Potato Salad and Coleslaw. The Coleslaw was on the more liquidy side but the Potato Salad great! Had some fried pork rinds at the top at believe, it was really good. But now for Beef Ribs, they were excellent. Not as big as the ones I had down in Houston but they were fall off the bone, juicy, meaty, fatty, everything I could have dreamed. Oh and it also came with a piece of cornbread. My mother and girlfriend got to try their Caesar Salad w/Roasted Chicken and a Mason Dixon Sandwich w/Chilli Fries. They said everything was great, the salad was fresh and all their meats were tender, juicy and flavorful. Chilli Cheese fries weren't too soggy either which was great. This place got busy, very quickly so if you don't see a line, you better take advantage of it because they were a little on the slower side for what this place seems like it'd be. Also, there's only so many picnic tables up front but I did notice plenty more out towards the side. Keep that in mind. I'd say this place was great! Interesting, people literally park right up front where you eat so it's like everyone is all together. But yeah, after a long and busy day at the outlets which are an easy 2 minute drive down the street from here, BBQ at a laid back place like this is just what some people need! At least for me, like it really hit the spot.
google avatar

Bridget L.

Yelp
Delicious!! Really authentic bbq. The beef brisket just melts in your mouth. The rice and beans were the perfect compliment to each other, super yummy. The reason for a 4 instead of 5 is, the cornbread was great just too crumbly needed a tad bit more moisture in the mix. And the outside condiments, watching the guy in front of me touch every cup and cover, I left without getting any at all.
google avatar

William D.

Yelp
Decent people but they don't wear gloves when preparing your food. They pass the food from person to person, open up your food to make sure they are giving the correct bag to you. Really uncomfortable for me so I dumped my $120 meal
google avatar

Joshua T.

Yelp
Good stuff! Tried the 'Smokey Chicken Sandwich' - grilled chicken, then fried, with bacon, cheddar and slaw...with a side of cowboy beans. Tried three different sauces- all different, all decent. Outdoor picnic tables partially under cover. Order from a pick-up window and eat outside or take away. No frills. Plastic utensils and canned soda. Come for the food and leave with a full-belly and smile.

Yelp
The pork belly is getting drier since I first discovered this place. I mean,,yea It's good because they're the only one who has it around here but it's not the best pork belly I've had,,or made. First few times it was extremely good but just..meh now. Cole slaw and corn bread is just not good. Mac n cheese is an 8/10. Brisket is better than the dude in Cumberland. So are the ribs. But...to the heavy set/fat dude who works the windows...Bro, chill out. Nobody wants to visit a place and have you act so douchey. Every. Single. Time. The only thing keeping this 3 stars is the brisket.

Amy C.

Yelp
gross. I went there with my family friday. I'll start with the service. I've never been here before, new to town. I got a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and a side of mac and cheese. The next person in line orders and the worker says BBQ sauce on youres?" I never got asked that. rest of my family gets a wrap, chicken and fries. My pulled pork sandwich has no sauce. I kept watching and in the window they microwave EVERYTHING. Absolutely so gross. I couldn't eat the sandwich. Also no cole slaw came on mine. Moving onto the mac. It was awful. Tasted like a kraft but chemically. The wings said they were slow cooked for 3 days... they were dry. Meat like that should be falling off the bone. The normal fries tasted like sweet potato fries. I ordered a thing of sweet potato fries to try those were good. Let's talk about there sauce. The wrap was dissapoiting, chipotle's was better. Everything tasted extremely vingeary, even the ketchup. the blue cheese was gross. The fried pickles were so salty it was giving my a tounge rash. Would NEVER go there again. Sucks because i'm new in town. I've heard mixed reviews from the community. Really disgusted.

Yelp
Idk where Yelpers off rating this low. It's the BEST bbq joint around this area. Commonwealth sandwich, fries and or Mac n chz. Done. Sooo good!! Right by the Outlets too just go past 495 and it's right there. 11/10 Commonwealth Sandwich

Nicholas B.

Yelp
Great food! The wampum sampler is the way to go by far! It's enough food for my family of 3 to eat for like three days straight!
google avatar

Alfred H.

Yelp
I use to live in NC so I have had my fair share of bbq and Commonwealth bbq is by far the best bbq in all of Massachusetts. I have eaten every single item on the menu. The pulled pork sandwich melts in your mouth. If you love chili do yourself a favor and give them a try, you'll be glad you did.
google avatar

Kyle W.

Yelp
Great spot, mediocre food. Love pulling into the corner spot its located and enjoying the sun (even if the birds want to poop on me (beware)) This was my second visit and I was open to give it another try. Both times service was great and fast. Ive tried every meat except the chicken and they're all lightly smokey with no other flavor. The sauces are the highlight although every bbq place either has great meat or sauce (and the latter is nearly not as impressive or good.) I recommend the mustard bbq sauce although recommend going anywhere else first. I don't understand the high reviews after going almost a year apart nothing has changed although the portions seem bigger which is a plus. Sides are okay. As someone spoiled from southern bbq I hope they can learn the secrets to bring me back!
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Solid bbq. Order via the website unless it's a summer night and then can eat on picnic benches

Diane S.

Yelp
Delicious- hungry for meat? This is the place. I'f you want to be enraptured by meat ecstasy, barbecue style at its finest, look no further. This is a No frills experience, but results in divine meat memories that reside in your soul. There is no higher expression of carnivorous creation than this hidden gem on Wampum corner.
google avatar

Joe A.

Yelp
I used to like this place but it has gone downhill. The meats are previously cooked and wrapped up in foil and held in some kind of steam/heater box. Last time I went was a Friday evening, not off-hours. Fresh sliced brisket seems to be a thing of the past. The leftover brisket I got was dry and had none of that loose fat/meat separation of a freshly cooked brisket (you all know what I mean). It was like a slice of dry roast beef with a fat cap over it. Sides are passable, the cornbread was pretty good. I think I've gone for the last time. Also, with all the meat now ready to go in foil, why in the hell does it take so long to slap the foil into a box, scoop the sides and give it to me? It's like a twenty minute wait for leftover food just sitting there!
google avatar

Brittany D.

Yelp
Yum! Yelpers didn't steer me wrong again! Large portions, very tasty variety of meats, and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable and their pork ribs especially were fantastic. No indoor seating, but the picnic table eating works great as you would want to eat a true BBQ meal this way! Close to both Gillette stadium and the Wrentham outlets too. Parking lot offered a lot of parking and I'm betting they're packed during the summer months. I saw a lot of people ordering takeout and the turnaround time was very quick. Owns up to its' Yelp rating for sure!

Yelp
Beef ribs (no sauce)...Juicy Perfection. Pulled pork...smoky, soft and flavorful. Chicken and wings...crispy skin, tender meat. Pork belly over white rice and beans...MEAT CANDY! The cole slaw, full of crunchy freshness. The beans...slap my mother, my mother-in-law...oh hell, slap me too!!! The beans!!! Sweet, Smokey, full of surprises; vegetables, meat, tomatoes, UHHH! Cornbread, sweet, crumbly and so savory. And...the BRISKET!!! That broke me. My family and I have been long term fans of another unnamed place, devoted and diehard, but the brisket was always a shade on the dry side. When you ate it, you would always be thinking, "I wish it was more juicy and tender, less stringy and tough." Commonwealth BBQ, you all changed us, the brisket, THE BRISKET is a work of art. Even my pickiest kid savored every bite. Thank you all for your craft, you have made lifelong customers of us.
google avatar

Derrick L.

Yelp
This place is an oldie but a goodie. Commonwealth is a solid barbecue spot in Southeastern MA that serves up some quality meat and decent sides. My favorite dish is their pulled pork without any sauce, letting the dry rub flavor things. Their brisket is really good too, very tender and well spiced. Their sides are hit and miss, but let's be honest - you're not going there for the sides. I do recommend their winter butternut squash flavored with raisins. It complements the meat well on a cold day. This place is walk-up regardless of the season, so be prepared to eat your meat in the elements or take it home.

Yelp
Was the worst BBQ I ever had. I have traveled from N.C. where the BBQ is just right, It seemed like the BBQ was reheated in the microwave from days ago. This place needs to go back to school and really learn how to do BBQ!

Yelp
Looks can be deceiving...don't let the outside determine whether to stop or not. In town on business and a local suggested I eat here for lunch. It was a great decision. A local hotspot based upon the qty of people there. Definitely would recommend eating here!

Yelp
Tried this place because I spotted it on my way to the Nike outlet. $12 1lb pulled pork sandwich? You can't beat that especially when it tastes great! Make sure to grab some bbq sauce next to the window but anyone who knows bbq knows you gotta grab the sauce! The mac and cheese was really good! I got rice and beans for my girl so I'll have to ask her how she liked them. I can't wait to go back in my classic car and eat bbq at this spot this summer!
