This was probably the best coffee we had in Charleston! I absolutely recommend stopping in here. While prices are not listed, it's basically the same you would pay at any other coffee shop, but you will have an amazing drink! It's absolutely worth stopping in! It only took a couple minutes for both drinks. 1,000% recommend!

Google
My favorite little coffee spot! It’s definitely a hidden gem, tucked inside the beautiful Charleston Place hotel and rarely ever has too long of a line because of that. Alexey is a delight and the sweet treats are unmatched!!

We visited Community Perk, located inside The Charleston Place Hotel, and tried their croissants and a macaron. Unfortunately, they did not meet our expectations. The croissants were not fresh and lacked crispiness, although the cream fillings were nice. We tried the pistachio and the blueberry/lemon meringue ones. Paid $26 for two croissants and one macaron — far too expensive for such average flavors!

Google
Excellent nitro cold brew and specialty honey latte. Pastries were insane! So good! Best croissant. Alexey helped us and was awesome

Google
Community Perk has become my go to coffee shop! They recently added some new pastries and breakfast sandwiches that are delicious - definitely try the donuts and the biscuit sandwich. The people who work there are really friendly and helpful too.

Google
Community Perk is the cutest pop in coffee shop downtown. Just steps off King Street and in the beautiful The Charleston Place Hotel, this coffee shop is the perfect spot to grab a coffee in between shopping!

Google
Fantastic place for a quick drink and a delicious sandwich. Absolutely recommend if you're in DT Charleston. Also plenty of shops inside the hotel as well if you feel like shopping!

Google
This spot is amazing. They have the best coffee for the best price. Their pastry is always fresh and decent size too. They also serve warm sandwiches. The short rib sandwich and avocado with crumbled bacon are my favs. The staff there is friendly and always happy to see us! I would definitely recommend to stop by while you shopping or cruising down town.

Yelp
Located inside The Charleston place hotel, this very small coffee shop was a nice detour, as we cut through the shopping area. I was not in love with my iced coffee but their blueberry cream pastry was absolutely delectable! I would come by again to try their other pasty options. The service was friendly and helpful.

Yelp
We stopped in real quick for a coffee and pastry. The service was amazing. I tried the nitrate coffee and mixed it with a shot of caramel and almond milk. The first one I received was way too sweet because he put four pumps of sweetener but he fixed it and made it perfect the second go round. We also had a blueberry danish pastry that was the perfect amount of sweetener. The place was quaint and the coffee was good. No complaints.

Yelp
Solid coffee at a reasonable price which was surprising given it is located in Charleston Place. The iced latte was smooth and creamy and very enjoyable. My wife enjoyed the iced americano which I noticed they topped off with bottled Fiji water (wow). Service can be a bit slow but it's to be expected when your coffee is well made.

Yelp
Darling coffee and dessert spot! Very kind and friendly staff and great service. I enjoyed a yummy warm matcha latte and my cousin enjoyed an oat milk latte with sugar free caramel that was wonderful. Beautiful and charming ambiance, would recommend. A bit on the pricier side since it's inside of an exclusive hotel but great experience!

Yelp
The Community Perk located in Charleston Place is a great place to get a quick drink when your on the run. The place has a very modern look with a very nice Nuova Simonelli Espresso Machine. The staff was quick and nice. They grounded the beans to order and did not disappoint with the drink(I got a Cappuccino). The drink was well balanced between espresso and milk. I feel this place is great for on the run but might need to work on its "sit down" atmosphere. In all great espresso but needs to work on its atmosphere.

Yelp
The Community Perk at the Charleston Place in Charleston is a great place to get a quality cup of coffee and a snack. The location is very convenient as it is within walking distance for most of Penisula and it is easy to walk in and out and get what you need if you are in hurry. The service is very efficient and fast as they get on your order right away and take care of it. The staff here is very cool and friendly and are nice to you while you are waiting for your order to come up. This is also a really good place to have a quick business meeting if you are need of a meeting place that is easy as the seats are available most of the time. Overall this is a really good coffee place that delivers consistently.

Yelp
Says they're open til 3... They were closed at 2. Wasted a pretty long walk to get here so was upsetting. Won't try to go back again.

Yelp
Got a Nitro Cold brew here and it for some reason tasted like caramel flavored water. I threw it out soon after leaving the store. Store looked really nice but my order was disappointing at best.

Yelp
Worst coffee and chai latte ever! Literally only my second review ever on yelp but felt so compelled to steer folks away who might want To skip the line at Starbucks. The little coffee nook by the shoe shine man was a hundred times better. When I inquired if they use tazo chai mix for their lattes which the barista said yes. But who uses powdered chai mix in a four star hotel? Tossed the chai which was gritty and chunky as well as a cappuccino. Walk across the street and wait in line at Starbucks. At least their product is consistent and the quality is so much better. Locals and tourist go elsewhere.
