Yelp
I feel swindled by the looks of the place. At a glance, Community looked promising but just about everything turned out to be a miss.
My partner has a severe allergy; unfortunately, when we inquired about some ingredients, the server was uncertain and unbothered. We did not feel comfortable ordering much afterward.
Food: No one in our party enjoyed their food. Even something as simple as sweet potato fries were overly salted.
Service: For a restaurant that was mostly empty on a Saturday, service was almost non-existent. It's laughable considering on top of that, we were rushed out at the end. But I guess when you're charging a mandatory service charge of 15% for all tables, the staff doesn't have a reason to care.
The service was practically non-existent. Yet, it was apparent that the server who handled the bill was offended when we declined an additional tip.
If the restaurant has no concerns about their "mandatory tip" driving patrons away when neither the quality of their food nor service measures up, they should post their "Service Charge Policy" note clearly on their door.
If you find yourself in a bind and get stuck eating here, lower your expectations significantly and it just might deliver. Even as far as vegan options go, there are other places nearby.
Save yourself the money, time, and disappointment, and go elsewhere.
