Love the atmosphere. Really friendly service. The food was amazing, wish I had space for dessert. We’ll definitely try it next time. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great vegan brunch! We went as a group of six and had good service. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I had the Community Pancakes and really enjoyed them. You can tell all the dishes are thought out and prepared thoughtfully. My girlfriend got the 'chicken and waffles' and it looked amazing. My only minor complaint is that the music was way too loud. It went from no music, to absolutely blasting. We all had to start yelling just to hear one another. Probably just a fluke with the sound system. But besides that it was great. Definitely recommend.

Food was good but the wait was way too long on a Sunday (40 min) when the restaurant was hardly busy. Tips are automatically added (15%). They offer coffee/esspresso drinks but you have to ask the server. Also had to request for ketchup as it wasn’t given with the potato wedges.

Beautiful atmosphere, peaceful interior. Great quality food from good quality ingredients. Price was also really decent. I got the caesar wrap and fries. Wrap could definitely use more sauce but it was still really good. Meal was very filling. Definitely wanna return and try more of the menu items.

Whether you are 100% or someone who absolutely loves good food, this spot will have you coming back here as a staple brunch spot. Community is the sweetest little space in Port Credit for animal friendly cuisine that packs a punch of throws a fist full of flavour. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly attentive! We were surprised how slow they were for a Saturday at 2pm; especially now that we know the quality they provide. Best part is you get to sit in the cutest little restaurant ever. Very photo worthy. Their Cinnamon Maple French Toast is hands down one of the best French toasts I've ever had - vegan or not. From the homemade cashew vanilla maple crema, to the fresh fruit - the harmony of flavours tops this as my all time favourite. We also had the opportunity to try their Bang Bang Broccoli - Toothsome trees coated in a savoury gluten free batter, accompanied with garlic aioli and a dill based tartar sauce? Absolutely delightful. (Almost didn't want to share) As well, my dining companions helped themselves to the Chick'n N Waffles. Which is an item I will recommend to everyone looking for the BEST vegan alternative to a classic dish. - Deep fried oyster mushrooms in their familiar gluten free batter, cashew based hollandaise, a refreshing salad with blistered tomatoes, and their perfectly spiced homefries? Heaven. Get it, trust me! If Port Credit isn't close for you, they have a second location in Oakville as well. Please try them, you won't be disappointed even for a second!

Food was good, love the mushroom risotto. Food portion is on the larger side so don't be greedy and order too much. Since is vegan restaurant, I can eat with no worries about being dairy free. The only complaint is the woman washroom is so tight for each stall is crazy, but I guess nothing they could do about it.

First of all, such a beautiful restaurant, decorated so nicely. Perfect for a ladies night. I brought my grandma, who isn’t even vegan and she LOVED it. We got the Chick’n Caesar wrap and the Chick’n Burger. Both 10/10. I am a new vegan always looking for new spots that don’t remind me that I’m missing out on meat and dairy and Community absolutely satisfied every craving!

Almost everytime I call asking for gluten free cookies they are sold out (called 5 different times and only once did they have them) Whether it's first thing when they open, mid day, or the evening. It's sold out. I was told they were selling a smaller portion of rolo cake that was gluten free. I asked the price and they said $5. The regular slice which is really large and too big imo is $12 so I happily got the small portion. When they brought it out to me it was in a tiny mason jar container! It wasn't even filled up all the way. The portion was close to 1/4 of the size of the regular cake slice and $5! Very disappointing. Adding a photo to show the size of the container.

Yelp
REALLY GOOD FOOD! Parking situation sucked because I didn't have a credit card with me, but free parking down the street which is a short walk. Cozy seats, clean and aesthetically pleasing. They do not have a tipping system as 15% service charge is added to each bill (no matter your party size) Our menu was dirty and covered in food. The lattes were too hot and burned. The matcha latte was disgusting. That was the only bad. Everything else was great. Let the photos do the talking. Their brunch is AMAZING (available Saturday-Sunday until 3 pm)

Yelp
This place definitely wasn't my favourite The food was okay, but it definitely wasn't worth the price. I feel like it the look was Instagram-worthy, but the service need help. Order four things French toast Carrot cake Sweet potatoes fries & an alcoholic drink The drink I got was incorrect I had to remind them about the carrot cake, which I ended up not liking The potato was at the perfect temperature, but the French toast was cold. Safe to say I won't be back

Yelp
Very good selection of well prepared vegan dishes. I had the Caesar salad and my wife enjoyed the Classic burger with fries. My daughter enjoyed a crab cake burger with fries. Food was fresh and well presented. They do have a liquor license and I had a pint of their own brew which was very tasty. The restaurant is light and airy with a small patio. The staff do a very good job and the service was exemplary. No tipping is acceptable as they include a mandatory 15% service charge. Definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Cocktails were wonderful, lentil crepe with mango chutney was excellent, great Cesar salad and possibly the best French fries I have ever had. There were too many things I wanted to try, will just have to keep going back!

Yelp
I feel swindled by the looks of the place. At a glance, Community looked promising but just about everything turned out to be a miss. My partner has a severe allergy; unfortunately, when we inquired about some ingredients, the server was uncertain and unbothered. We did not feel comfortable ordering much afterward. Food: No one in our party enjoyed their food. Even something as simple as sweet potato fries were overly salted. Service: For a restaurant that was mostly empty on a Saturday, service was almost non-existent. It's laughable considering on top of that, we were rushed out at the end. But I guess when you're charging a mandatory service charge of 15% for all tables, the staff doesn't have a reason to care. The service was practically non-existent. Yet, it was apparent that the server who handled the bill was offended when we declined an additional tip. If the restaurant has no concerns about their "mandatory tip" driving patrons away when neither the quality of their food nor service measures up, they should post their "Service Charge Policy" note clearly on their door. If you find yourself in a bind and get stuck eating here, lower your expectations significantly and it just might deliver. Even as far as vegan options go, there are other places nearby. Save yourself the money, time, and disappointment, and go elsewhere.

Yelp
We went into Community Restaurant as it looked really good online. We were pointed to our seat, and asked to go sit down without the hostess/server seating us. We sat down, and were given room temperature water. I informed the waitress of my allergies, and the waitress looked uninterested and unsure of whether it's going to be in contact with my food. This was a concern for me and decided to order just the sweet potato fries as I was not interested in taking a trip to the hospital. The food came, and it was over salted. My 'Sweet Dreams' mocktail tasted like it was going bad, and halfway through decided I can't do it anymore. Our friend did not enjoy their food, and only partially ate it as they were starving. We all ended up having to get food elsewhere afterwards. My biggest gripe with all of this was the auto-gratuity. No where is it listed on their website, let alone outside the restaurant. You can only find it listed when you go inside, and sit at the table, where there is ONE paper for the whole table that says this. It is 15% auto-gratuity to "ensure competitive industry compensation and benefits for our valued team-members." They state "In order for all of our staff to earn a living wage, we feel it's important to get rid of tipping and implement a service fee" The definition of gratuity is "something given voluntarily or beyond obligation". This should be called what it is: a fee. The service was slow, missing our food at some points, and not being attentive what's so ever. The second server was offended afterwards when we didn't tip extra, despite having the 15% tip already forced on us for non-existent service.

Yelp
I'm not a great fan of vegan food but since my friend's were raving about it I just went along must say it's one of the best vegan restaurants that I've been to Awesome There waseating outside however since it was full sat inside and in spite of having an air conditioner inside it was hot as hell actually had a sweat bath in the month of August The drink hibiscus lemonade was not too the main entrée was excellent like we ordered a sushi tofu a sticky sauce tofu don't remember the exact name it was excellent the best we ever had it was way way beyond our expectations so a full 5 The service was good too The chocolate cookie was great too I just have to go back for the sushi style tofu and strongly recommend it too A great vegan place A must try will not be disappointed

Yelp
Ordered via ubereats and tried their vegan chik'n caesar wrap. It was okay, nothing too special tbh. The caesar sauce had a weird chemical aftertaste for me, not sure what that was about. The chik'n was fried mushroom and was decent. The fries that came with it were pretty bland. Not worth the price for sure. Service was really nice and the employees are nice. Overall 3/5, decent but would not get again or recommend. At least it was a healthy meal :)

Yelp
Rating 4.5 at present as they have just done a soft launch.....once their furniture is in and ambience is set I'm sure it could be higher. I always enjoyed going to their Oakville location and I was thrilled to find out the opened in Port Credit. I stopped in on Sunday evening after returning from the Pride festivities in TO. A short walk from the sport Credit GO station. They have weekend brunch but at the time I arrived the chef could only do the waffles. So I opted for the Mac and cheese instead....thank goodness I did because it was AWESOME! Gf pasta with a spicy homemade sauce (not artificial cheese product) and crunchy topping. It hit the spot. I took my food to go and the Mac and cheese was still good when I got it home. The lime pie or cheesecake (I forget what it was listed as on the menu) did melt in the heat by the time I got it home. The flavours were good though and I Look forward to trying it fresh in restaurant. Sweet graham base and slightly tart lime filling with a light whipped "cream" topping. It was recommended by the server and was a good choice. The owner, Alka, came out and said hello just as she did on my many visits to the Oakville location. She is absolutely lovely and I wish her tons of success:))

Yelp
This place looks so promising with it's bright open big space, and lovely mural on the outside. Food is presented nicely, but lacks greatly in flavour. Food was a big disappointment, salad was drenched in sauce and the clementines used in salad were a bit moldy and dry. We were the only table in restaurant, so you would expect the kitchen to be more conscious of the produce used... though a busy restaurant would never be an excuse to serve produce that has gone bad.

Yelp
I have eatten here a few times now with friends and family and have also ordered out. The food is exceptional! It is all made from scratch and you can taste the effort that goes into every dish. The dining experience has always been great. Our server, Dasha, was so pleasant, making our lunch very enjoyable! I highly recommend Community Port Credit.

Yelp
The restaurant we wanted to go to was full, so we headed down Lakeshore to find a spot to park ourselves and came upon Community. It was early afternoon but the place was busy, and the only waitress there apologized that the service might be slow, but we were a big group and wanted to catch up and she was really accommodating. It worked out great! Our waitress was very attentive even so, made great recommendations, and the food was worth the wait. None of us are vegan, and the fact that everyone cleaned their plate is a testament to how good the food was. Portions sizes were great. The sandwiches were imaginative ("fried chicken" made of mushrooms with cashew cheese, red onions, and pickled jalapenos? "Crab cake" made of hearts of palm? Genius) and the side of fries were not an afterthought (yum!). We never felt rushed, we loved the art and decor, and my friends noted that it all felt "warm", as in, inviting and friendly. Really glad I got the chance to eat here, and hope this restaurant does well in the future!

Yelp
Very tasty food and refreshing drinks! I did not expect that! We had an awesome, friendly waitress which also elevated the experience.
