Community Servings

Community Servings has been our lifeline since 9/2021! They have worked with my daughter every step of the way as her dietary restrictions changed. Never a single issue with deliveries here on NS! Driver(s) always texting me as her caregiver and working from home our delivery time often falls in the middle of a work meeting 🤦‍♀️. The quality of the food from the soups to entrees are amazing. It’s enabled DD to independently choose what she wants at meals and heat it up, unless it’s soups the microwave is too much of a reach from her wheelchair. The fact that Community Servings also includes the caregiver for meals is so above and beyond! We are thankful every day ! Oh and the winter box in case they can’t get a delivery to you, again so thankful! Whenever we can in our circles of folks with medical issues/caregivers we make sure to share our experience with Community Servings!

I haven't received one delivery service. The first time they tried to deliver, I wasn't expecting it. Becuase no one ever told me when my first delivery would be. The following week I made sure I was on the list. Delivery customer service said i was. But I haven't received one delivery and its been 3 weeks. I call every week to see if they have delivered it, becuase I get no text confirmation. Customer service "re ensures" i should get a delivery, but I never do.

Food delivery was great at first they would always call to let me know they we're on the way or downstairs.for 3 weeks there was no calls and my bags would be left outside my door. But I called and they have been calling. Only issue I have is the menu at times, it's like I get the same thing over and over again. I would like dinner rolls in a bag with meals, some muffins, parfaits, bread, squash,zucchini long string Beans, kale,wheat waffles or pancakes, Cheese and wheat crackers,baked salmon,salad etc

I can't even begin to express my gratitude towards community servings organization. It's been a life saver!! The meals are always FRESH and FROZEN! I highly recommend them if you or a loved one is suck and needs help with meals. They come prepared. Once a week. All you have to do is microwave and enjoy! Highly highly recommended!!

Lovely, hardworking group of people ruining this establishment. Had the recent pleasure of volunteering here doing meal prep, can’t wait to be back soon.

I always had good luck with them except for last 6 months. I have not had regular deliveries and made several calls to client services with promise to call me back with update. No calls received to date. I have already missed 3 consecutive weeks and have not received my nutrition shakes for a few months. Very disappointing!

Volunteering at Community Servings in Jamaica Plain has been nothing short of heartwarming. Under the exceptional leadership of Nick, the director, the organization runs a tight ship, ensuring that every volunteer experience is not only meaningful but also well-coordinated. The dedication and enthusiasm of everyone who volunteers make each session an absolute joy. The collaborative effort and positive energy create an environment that is both fulfilling and fun. Kudos to Nick and the entire team at Community Servings for making a difference and turning every volunteer opportunity into a rewarding experience!
