Community Wine Bar Is on a Mission to Be Portland’s Most Accessible Tasting Room - Eater Portland

"Community Wine Bar, set to open this August in South Portland, will serve flights from both RAM Cellars and Gonzales Wine Company, as well as a blended flight that highlights the common ground between the two wineries — both winemakers source grapes from similar regions in the Pacific Northwest. The bar will offer a three-wine, pay-what-you-can flight (with a $15 suggested price), as well as a $25 six-wine flight; glass pours will hover around $9 to $10 for white wines, and up to $15 for reserve red wines." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Beautiful wine bar, run by two local wine producers. Using some “off the beaten track” grapes to the usual Oregon Pinot- although they have that too. Gewürztraminer, skins contact Riesling (if an orange fan clean but chefs kiss for depth and complexity ), petit Verdot, Malbec and a sparkling red Their wine making skill, nuance and care for both the grapes but also those who work in the wine industry is awesome.

Stopped in with my daughter and was so impressed! Super accessible (for parents too!) wine bar that is home to two great wineries. The vibe is amazing, the tastings are done so cute in little bottles on a board. I also got a cheese and charcuterie board which was a great snack or small dinner size. The wine was fantastic and at great price points. My personal fave of the tasting is did was Ram Cellars Cab Franc which I nabbed a bottle of as well. Great addition to the neighborhood and looking forward to visiting often!

Had a friend recommend Community Wine Bar as a place to check out local wine. I was very impressed by what they had to offer, after chatting with Viv (owner of Ram Cellars) I opted to try the Community Wine flight to see what they were all about. The tastings were amazing, the snacks were great and the atmosphere was 10/10. Will be back to keep trying & buying more of ya'lls wine!

My daughter hosted a birthday party (80) in my honor. It was lovely and my friends had a great time. I highly recommend the wine bar.

So glad this place opened up - and even happier that it is in my neighborhood. The wines are great, the food is just right, but the welcoming, comfortable, very intentional feeling of the place is what makes it very special. This is exactly the type of place that you want to come back again and again, come by yourself, bring a friend, it's just perfect.
