The most stunning bar and bistrot in Lake Como. Cocktail was super creative based on different regions of Italy. Pizza was fantastic. Highly recommend

When I arrived here, I was stunned by the beauty of this place. The area is very beautiful and the view of Lake Como is just incredible. The food was okay I would say. I had a four cheese pizza which was very mediocre and nothing special I didn’t really enjoy it , and I also had a risotto which was really tasty and rich in flavour. The mocktails were also good, but they didn't stand out. In general, I recommend coming here for the atmosphere and the beauty of the scenery, but not to expect incredible food.

Although this is not my first time to dine here, but the most disappointing experience I had, for starts I ordered crispy zucchini flower, which was Not Crispy at all and served cold, for main course I ordered their diavola chicken it was so tasteless like it was not spiced with anything and the sauce was so sweet rather then spicy and what was worst it was not cooked well in the center though they said it’s was slow cooked for 4 hours !!! So I called the waiter whom didn’t apologize for the disgusting seen of a raw chicken in the middle of summer which is a health hazard she brushed it of and said that’s normal to keep the chicken juicy !!! but if you like we can cook it more so I said ok but it came back so bad it was bad from the start to be honest so tried to play it safe and tried to not leave hungry I ordered a pizza which came after a long time burned!!! Other than that they messed up my son order and got his drink so late after we finished eating and it was just a coca cola zero !!! The only good thing about this place is the view and just to walk around take a memorable photos. In my opinion sadly the spectacular place and view is taking for granted.

What can I say? Even if the food wasn't the best in the universe the place may be the most beautiful in the known universe. A moment here is a moment lost in time. I appreciated the elevated plating and presentation of everything. The desert especially was beautiful and delicious. We were lucky to have a table right next to the water. Highly recommend making a stop here for lunch if you can! Vegan options and able to accommodate vegan / plant-based no problemo.

We had one of the most amazing vegetarian meals ever at the Mandarin Oriental Lake Como Italy. It was so unexpected as we just wanted to enjoy the scenery with a few drinks. The time flew by so fast that we just decided to stay and have some dinner. Best decision yet. We ordered the veg and vegan items on the menu not knowing it was so unbelievably delicious. The tomato on tomato dish ~ Pappa al pomodoro, basilico was the star of the night. Our server Andrei described the dish as creaminess inside a tomato. 🤔 He was absolutely right. 😍❤️ The tomato salad was second to none that we ever tasted. Fresh, plump and with just the right amount of acidity. It's just that simple! The Agretti saltani which is a string like vegetable that was indescribable and we treated that as our pasta dish. It was so good that we reordered. 😍❤️For our main course, we had the Eggplant parmigiani, it is not your ordinary Eggplant parmigiana. This was at whole different level and when you drizzle some of their table side olive oil on it, the dish just elevated to another dimension. This is most probably one of the best vegeterian meals we ever had for so long. It was unplanned and yet It reminds us that sometimes being spontaneous is the best way to go!

Great place to enjoy the beautiful lake Como. Nice staff even though booking a table wasn’t easy, the online booking app doesn’t work and spelling your name by phone to make a reservation - when you are not Italian, is a risky business 😅 The food was exquisite and the staff super nice. Tks a lot. Difficult to be disappointed by the Mandarin Oriental👌

Meraviglioso! Probably one of the most beautiful palace of the lake. That's right, the drinks or the snacks are a little bit expensive, but the atmosphere and the view are really fabulous. Go and spend of a couple of hours on the terrace, preferably elegantly dressed, and you will not regret it.

Attentive service, Tasty food, and Fantastic view. Highly recommend!!! I orderd lobster roll.
