This club is the worst part of the Westin. I was trying to enjoy a weekend staycation with my husband for our anniversary. But that was quickly soured as the blaring club music that felt like someone put a speaker directly on our window. I could still hear it with a sound machine and ear plugs…When discussed with the front desk, they said it was normal for floors 2-4 to hear this. Personally, I don’t think it is normal for hotel guests to be subjected to club music while trying to get to sleep at 10 p.m. especially when you pay $300 a night, but that’s just me. The Westin ended up moving us several floors up in the middle of the night so we could sleep. Laughably, we got up to floor 10+ and WE COULD STILL HEAR THE DAMN MUSIC AT MIDNIGHT.

We love it here!! Second visit was just as great as the first. It’s like a swanky speakeasy with live piano and vocals - great drinks, great atmosphere, super friendly service (shoutout Cintia, Joseph, and Ziggy!!) and no cover charge!! Come check it out, 10/10 all around!!

The atmosphere here was amazing! I would go back for it alone. But, the service was alright. We had a waitress who took our order initially, but then left us for 30 mins without an explanation. Mind you, this was before the night got busy. Then another waiter came up and asked if we had been seen and processed to ask us what we had and brought our drinks to us. After that, no one came and talked to us for an hour, possibly longer. Unfortunately, my partner's drink glass had a funny odor, and the drinks were not balanced well. Possibly because they had been sitting at the bar for a while. Regardless, the atmosphere was amazing.

Nestled within The Woodlands, this bar and restaurant offers a dining experience that's both surprising and perplexing. The atmosphere seamlessly marries modernity with classic charm, and the picturesque terrace overlooking The Woodlands waterway is a true gem. Culinary-wise, the establishment leans into Italian-American fare with a simple menu that showcases pizzas and bite-sized delights. The star of the show here is undeniably the pizza. Laden with rich cheese and flavorsome sauce, it's the exceptionally thin, delicately crispy crust with slightly burnt edges that steals the spotlight. However, the promise of the Fritto Misto dish falls short, with indications that it may have been hastily reheated, robbing it of the expected seafood freshness and crunchy texture. Regrettably, the cocktails do not rise to the same standard. It's apparent that the bartender lacks the finesse of free pouring, as my amaretto sour was compromised by an excess of lemon juice, obscuring the liquor's true essence. The signature cocktails on offer lack the excitement and are often tainted by subpar well liquors, an overabundance of artificial flavors, and an excessive sweetness. If you're seeking meticulously crafted cocktails, this may not be your libation haven. On a brighter note, the live music acts as a melodic counterpart to the pleasing setting, making it a standout attraction alongside the scenic views and the commendable pizza. It might be wise to return for these highlights and opt for simpler libations, such as a glass of wine or a beer. However, the Achilles' heel of this establishment is its service—or lack thereof. Staff members appear inattentive, with a noticeable lack of care for customer service beyond the bar. Even when seated at the bar, one is left parched, as water is an afterthought, and the basic act of placing a napkin under a drink is often overlooked. Straws, a common fixture in cocktails, are provided only upon request, a departure from the industry standard. Service shortcomings extend to the dining areas, where guests find themselves forgotten, waiting to order, and ultimately taking matters into their own hands by requesting the bill. In summary, this venue possesses untapped potential that could be unleashed with more effective management, a more attentive and dedicated staff, and a more inventive approach to crafting cocktails. While it boasts compelling elements in the form of live music, the scenic backdrop, and the remarkable pizza, these positives are overshadowed by the inadequacies in service and cocktail preparation.

On the evening of November 23, 2024, at approximately 9:50 PM, I, along with two companions, entered the Como Social Club. Upon our arrival, a man approached us in a confrontational manner, stating that hats were not permitted. One of my companions was wearing a $500 men’s King Fedora hat. Another member of our group pointed out that a man in the corner was wearing the same hat, to which the doorman replied that the individual was the singer and that no hats were allowed. He did not greet us and instead approached us aggressively. My companion promptly removed his hat. We then proceeded outside to a table where we were not attended to, despite being clearly visible. I went to the bar to request a manager and spoke with Danielle Dorsch, the Food and Beverage Manager. I inquired about the hat policy, and she informed me that only ball caps were prohibited. I recounted our experience and noted that no one had offered assistance. I requested that she examine the hat. She apologized and confirmed that the hat was acceptable and could be worn. Although she offered complimentary drinks, we declined, as we were not seeking anything for free; we simply wished to enjoy our evening. It appeared that we were subjected to immediate discrimination upon our arrival. It is also worth mentioning that the only Black individual in our group was the only Black person present in the club. While the Food and Beverage Manager was very apologetic, the behavior exhibited by your security personnel was entirely unwarranted. We will not be returning and will advise others to do the same. It is regrettable that Como Social Club has allowed such discriminatory actions to

My friends and I went there to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, the service we received was subpar. The food was not very good and for the price it was not worth it. Definitely not going back.

Unfortunately, you have to post at least a star to post a comment. It does not even deserve the one star!! We went into the Como Social Club tonight with the intent to enjoy an evening out in the town. My boyfriend and myself had never been to this establishment before. However, my sister that we were with had been there several times before. She was the one who recommended us to go there. Well, after tonight, she would recommend that no one go there. Let me tell you about our experience….my boyfriend is African-American and my sister and I are both white. We were all three appropriately dressed for a nice night out. My boyfriend had on nice pressed jeans, a fresh white button up shirt, dress loafers, and a fedora style hat. He lead the way into the club as we walked in from the elevator. A gentleman(Roberto - Club Security) walked from across the room and immediately, in what I felt was rather aggressive, walked up to my boyfriend and told him that there is a no hat policy and that he would have to take it off. There was no introduction. No ‘excuse me sir’. NOTHING. I immediately looked across the room and saw a white gentleman standing in the same area in which the man came from with a hat that was much like what my boyfriend had on. I immediately pointed into the man’s direction and pointed out that he had in the very same style hat so what is the difference. The gentleman stated that he was the singer for the night so he could wear the hat. I voiced that I didn’t understand what the difference was, but OK. This behavior immediately gave me a bad vibe. We walked out to the patio area to find a table to sit at. There were ladies sitting in the couches and two couples at a two tables. It was not overly crowded that you wouldn’t notice that three new people had come to sit at a table. A server walked right past us and never ask if she could help us. We were sitting there discussing amongst ourselves what was going on. Still no one came. We turned to look at the server area at the bar. There were two servers just standing there talking and laughing. We still sat there with no service. My sister decided to approach the bar and ask for a manager. She did end up speaking to Danielle, the Food and Beverage Management, and she ask about the hat policy. Danielle stated that the hat policy states no baseball caps. Danielle came to our table to see that the hat my boyfriend had one was definitely not a baseball cap. We discussed with her the situation. She did apologize and offered to send us a round of drinks or shots. We informed her that we were not interested in getting anything free. We just want to be treated fairly. As we were preparing to leave our table, the same server that had already walked past us and who stood and talked and laughed with her coworkers, came over to ask if we needed anything. By this point, the mood had been killed. None of us are the type to use “the race card” but this was blatantly how this situation played out. We did inform Roberto that we would make sure to let everyone know how he treats people. He, of course, stated that he was told no caps and that’s why he said something. However, before I prepared this review, I was looking in the Como Social Club Face Book page. There is a very recent video that was posted that shows Roberto as the gentleman standing at the top of the stairway and MULTIPLE men in the videos, both customers and performers, wearing hats. This shows that Roberto knew very well the hat that my boyfriend had on was acceptable.

I keep giving this place chances but it never hits the mark. There isn’t enough seating or servers. The layout is weird and their giant TV out of place in a space that seems to want to be a chic lounge. We really wanted to enjoy their recent salsa night, but I couldn’t get their RSVP link to work. We showed up and it was packed. The band started 40 minutes late. The dance floor was too small, and no server came by until we were ready to leave. And why no seating at the bar? Just not an enjoyable time.
