I have been to Toast at the end of the same block a few times, but slept on trying this place. I am so happy that we stopped in for brunch this Sunday morning to give it a try because I really have been missing out. The food and the ambience were great. The service was very professional and prompt as well. You order at the counter downstairs and then can sit anywhere inside or outside, but in my opinion the best option is on the second floor. It is covered shade wise, and has some nice views of the surrounding streets. We started off with some iced lattes, and they were terrific. I’m not just saying that lightly, they were exceptionally good. We also tried a croissant, and it was fresh and flaky. For our main items, we chose the Eggs Benedict with avocado added, and the Soft Scramble. Both were a good sized portion, and cooked as we hoped. Both dishes were great, and we would both order them again. Overall a great breakfast, brunch, or lunch location with good views, great food and service.

I’m a regular here and it’s my favorite coffee shop to work at! The seating is outdoors, but there are lots of plugs, shade and heaters for colder months. The food is amazing! I usually get a matcha latte or their chagaccino [highly recommend]. Staff is friendly :-) Love this place!

We ate breakfast to the tunes of the '80s including Pet Shop B, Naked Eyes, U2, Janet Jackson, Billy Idol, and Billy Ocean. I was in heaven! 😁 We had the sourdough breakfast sandwich, which I would prefer with over-medium instead of scrambled. Also, the breakfast burrito which was excellent. I like that the eggs are organic, and I liked that they had a croissant that was vegan, although I didn't taste it. We sat upstairs even though it's usually closed until 11:00 a.m. But they were kind enough to open it for us. It feels so much more open and has a beautiful view of the hills. Prices are on par with everywhere else in LA. Our breakfast with a juice and a coffee was about $38 excluding tip.

Cute place on the corner.. Reasonable price for a quick brunch. Pancakes were good, just needed more syrup than what they give.. I wanted to be seated on top, you know, just for a better view. However; the top seating area was closed. Not sure why.. I didn’t really care for the iced Matcha tea. Something was missing to give it a little sweetness. I eventually tweaked the drink when I got home. I added silk oak milk coffee creamer to it and it tasted so much more delicious. I would come back. Great price for food & good location.

Google
Great restaurant. Comoncy has lots of shaded outdoor seating, important during the pandemic. The food looks great and is delicious. Service is excellent. You have to go inside to order. They give you a number. That’s how the server finds your table.. Seems to me they could automate the ordering process, but who am I to tell them how to run their business. My kale salad was delicious. Everyone in my party of six enjoyed their meal. I recommend Comoncy on 3rd and La Jolla.

Google
The food was great overall; the peach cobbler french toast was amazing, one of the best I've ever had. The chilaquiles could've used a little more seasoning, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some salt. The service was amazing, the chef even came out to ask how our food was.

Google
one my favorite lunch spots in LA. so happy they added this location. BH is great too. i’ve tried almost everything here, it’s all delicious. the soups are chefs kiss*, the baguettes with prosciutto are a must try and the salads are my favorite. the staff is always so friendly.

What a great place! Love the color of the cafe, makes the whole day brighter. Avocado toast was amazing! Just the right amount of Avo and a perfect bread! Very yummy 😋 the place is pretty big so I will come back with more gfs. It has a air water sprinkle which makes it perfect on a summer day. Great quiet vibe and a very spacious outdoors seating! Parking is very easy on the street.

Yelp
There are many breakfast and lunch items at this Comoncy and today's order did not disappoint! We ordered plain pancakes to share, Breakfast Sandwich, and Eggs Benedict with Lox. The 3 stacked pancakes were perfectly made, huge, and so fluffy! When it came out, it was so warm and freshly made that I almost regretted ordering anything else. However, the Eggs Benedict that I ordered were also very delicious! The English Muffins were fresh and had the perfect crispy edges, and the combination of the eggs, sauce and lox were great. I may opt for simply Florentine next time as the sauce and eggs on its own were delicious enough. My partner ordered the breakfast sandwich which also looked really good (he also let me know that he really enjoyed it!) We opted for potatoes with the sandwich, where the Benedict comes with potatoes and some salad. I really liked the potatoes and seemed unique compared to other places potatoes. You have to order and pay for your food before being seated, in their cute little outdoor patio and the food came out super quick. The service was also very friendly. We agreed that we would definitely come back here for brunch in the future since their other items looked really good as well!

Yelp
The service was great! The decor and paint looks updated and there's outdoor seating. I didn't check for indoor seating. I'm not a fan of the food. I feel like the pancakes could have been fluffier and cooked more. I like the pancakes to be balanced; perfectly dry with a touch of moisture. The macchiato cappuccino was delicious with the perfect touch of sweetness. The fruit was fresh. The avocado toast was a no-no. The toast was tough to bite into and guacamole was not mashed or seasoned right. I loved the idea of radishes on the avocado toast but this was a no. The mango lemonade was good too!

Yelp
Stop by here since it's close to my friend business for brunch and it did not disappoint. It's a small cafe with just a few tables but very clean and quaint. I'd ordered the mushroom coffee, the Bedford salad and a pastries and EVERYTHING is delicious. I'd been trying to eat better and this salad was flavorful and filling due to the barley. I'd added chicken. Our cashier was so nice and food came out fast. There's is convenience cheap parking down the block.

Cori Z.

Yelp
I can't say enough about this place. They have a great breakfast menu, love the tacos and the breakfast sandwich I have never had a more perfect egg!! Ane the pastries they have are fantastic! OMG the strawberry oatmeal cookies, I have never been a huge oatmeal cookie fan but I come here at least once a week for these and the chocolate muffins ( I mean they are like chocolate magic) The staff is unbelievably friendly and that is so appreciated. I hope the owner knows how awesome they are too!! Good food good staff all around I am always happy here!

Vicky L.

Yelp
Stopped by for some coffee and was super intrigued with the mushroom coffee drink they had called chagaccino. Supposedly there's a lot of benefits in the drink such as improved cognitive function and boosts immunity. The drink came out to be $7.66 after tax and I thought the drink was pretty good. There is no flavor of the mushroom, but the coffee was better than the other places on the same street in my opinion. They also had a bakery section that looked really good and the restaurant looked really clean. The cashier was also super nice and the service was fast since I was in a hurry to get back to work.

Yelp
My husband's favorite spot for pancakes and the service is always good but today was spectacular. Right when we walked onto the patio with our friend (pup friendly!), someone came out to ask if we wanted the heater turned on since it was a chilly day. I love how the patio is open but also shaded with large umbrellas and they have lots of heaters so chilly days like today. You order inside and they give you a number and bring it out to you. The guy taking my order was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. We orders the pancakes which are my husbands favorite and I switched it up and got the smoked salmon bagel even though I usually get the breakfast burrito. Love how most breakfast plates come with your choice of a salad or potatoes! There's always people working here, not sure if they have wifi but they have a lot of outlets for your laptop or phone chargers. The service here has gotten exceptionally better and will keep us coming back in addition to their fluffy pancakes!

Allen L.

Yelp
Excellent coffees and teas. Food is pretty standard American fare. Nice presentation. The price is slightly high, you're paying a premium for the cute spot and location. It's a very Californian type of restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area.

Ashlé B.

Yelp
I always suggest a stop in commoncy when in the area the kiwi lemonade is an amazing treat on a hot day this go around I also had the chicken club with the coconut lentil and some fun buns from the pastry case I definitely recommend

Yelp
Arriving bright and early as the restaurant opened its doors for the day, we encountered a bit of a slow start. It was evident that they were operating with a short-staffed crew, which unfortunately affected the overall service. Despite the initial hiccup, the food turned out to be okay and met an acceptable standard. While the service might have been a bit sluggish due to the staffing situation, the food managed to redeem the visit to some extent. Hopefully, the staffing issues get resolved to enhance the overall dining experience for future customers.

Yelp
Why is this $10??? It's the 'famous' French sandwich. I've been to France and think the Parisians would not be proud of this It's thinner than my utensils kit!!

Stacy J.

Yelp
What a lovely find! We've been driving past this location for a while and finally decided to stop in when we were looking for breakfast outdoors. The location is very centrally located on 3rd Street just west of Crescent Heights, and the greenery provides a lovely backdrop and a surprising level of soundproofing from the traffic outside. The menu has something for everyone with vegan, gluten free and tons of regular options. We ordered the delicious vegan breakfast tacos - so good I wish there had been a third taco! - one of the eggs Benedicts, and probably some of the greatest pancakes in Los Angeles. Seriously, I'm still thinking of the pancakes! The prices were reasonable for solid portions, and the variety on the menu means we'll be back to try more of the vast breakfast options. Lots of socially distant outdoor seating was available and the staff is lovely and all smiles.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
The ambience is very dull and dead. I wanted to try it out so I ordered the Chilaquiles and they were all so confused in there and said they were out of sauce. It just gives ghost town vibes, we had already placed a few orders but after telling us they were out of sauce, we had to go. Please keep your ingredients and products updated or at least remove the item from your menu if you won't be serving it. Was turned off and don't plan on returning or frequenting this place, it's in the area and there are so many more options.

Hannah V.

Yelp
Used to be good. $14 sandwich barely had anything on it (which actually has already been an issue) and my hot mushroom latte was $7 and tastes like 100% milk. Never coming back.

Edie N.

Yelp
Get the lox toast with the egg. You don't regret it! I also got the cheesy potatoes on the side.

Marilyn E.

Yelp
Had the avocado toast and it came with potatoes. It was ok, tasted like guacamole toast lol and had the oat milk latte which wasn't sweet just so you know which I didn't mind and the winner of this place is the matcha lemonade omg if you guys sell gallons of it I will buy it haha

Patrick O.

Yelp
I'm not buying the hype. It was just an OK experience. The service was friendly but a little clunky and slow. Nothing really had any special good quality to it. All average or better but not great. Croissant was crispy but the rest of the croissant sandwich was soft and limp with one texture. The salad was a "pass thru" or a handful of lettuce. The cappuccino or small cake pastry may have been the highlight. 3 stars because of friendly staff doing best fo serve patio, and clean restrooms. I'd like to try other entrees and consider updating this review. It's hot outside and there isn't any indoor seating with AC.

Jen L.

Yelp
We were staying in the area with our two little kids and happened upon comoncy for an early morning breakfast. We were told there were no high chairs and I wish we had turned away because that fact alone made our breakfast unpleasant for us. As for the food... breakfast sandwich was meh. Coffee was good. The croissant French toast was the best. Won't be returning though because it's not kid friendly.

Shayna C.

Yelp
So happy I found this neighborhood gem. The food is top tier, the coffee is awesome and their staff is so sweet!!

Lisa W.

Yelp
Comoncy feels like the quintessential LA café. They serve great coffee from Intelligentsia and have a menu that is full of healthy offerings like salads and grain bowls. I love the laid back ambiance here. It is a nice place to relax, meet with friends or even get some work done. You order at the register, take a number and wait for them to bring the food to you table--no table service here, which makes the ambiance very casual. They have two floors or patio space! Be sure to go upstairs if you want more privacy or have a bigger group. The best part of Comoncy is that they are super dog friendly! I know it's so extra but I love that you can buy your dog their own chicken and grain bowl so they can enjoy brunch too. Parking in this area is always tough but I have always gotten lucky with a meter.

Allan H.

Yelp
First, they got rid of all but one Vegan option in their pastry case. They used to have 3 or 4 dairy-free options - now only a vegan croissant. That's one choice out of 10-12. That's as bad as Dunkin Donuts and their one dairy-free donut or Dominoes and their one dairy-free crust. What the Hell?? Isn't this 2023 ??!? In California. ??!? After that there was one thing, that even though overpriced, was worth walking to the location one block away. It was a prosciutto ficelle (long baguette-like sandwich). They haven't had that in over a week. Their excuse was the prosciutto is expensive to buy. !!????!!! If you're selling it, then that money should buy more --HELLLLOOO. !!! Not selling it AND not buying more. Now there's absolutely no reason for me to go unless I want to spend $8 _+ on a Chaggachino

Tam N.

Yelp
I recently went here over the weekend with my girlfriend and fiancé, for a late lunch and I was definitely impressed. First off, their drinks are so good! We got ice coffee, iced cappuccino, and ice tea- all delicious. My cappuccino was the best though, LOL. The food was also great. I loved the vegan burger and the avocado toast. Everything is also served so pretty! Prices- I was actually very shocked. I thought it would be a lot more, considering the location and also, how "upscale" looking it is. You're looking at 10-13 entrees with fair portions size. The staff is also really friendly. They're also very fast with the drinks and food! Can't complain. The decor is also very cute. There's two floor so we took it to the second floor for the breeze and the view. Cute and clean place. Definitely will be returning.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem ! On the corner of La Jolla and 3rd street. It may look small from the outside. But don't be fooled there's a lot of seating in their patio! Speaking of patios! They're doggie friendly! They even have their own water station with plenty of dog bowls that match the restaurant colors. Cute and thoughtful touch ! Anyways! I came here early in the morning to just grab coffee. But they have so many delicious options on their menu I had to grab some food. I'm a pretty heavy eater. The chef, Ramiro recommended I try their Cubano Sandwich! And wow I was not disappointed! I've had plenty of Cubanos before. But this was so full of authentic flavors and so much meat. I could tell it was made with love! Yum! Definitely 10/10 recommend. Thanks Ramiro!! They also have plenty of breakfast items if that's what you're looking for. Going back for that next time ! My coffee: vanilla latte with oat milk ! I'm a huge coffee lover and Brenda made my coffee to perfection! Right temperature, right sweetness. And I got to find out what coffee they use because the espresso in it was delicious! The milk didn't overpower the flavor and strength like other places do sometimes! Thank you Brenda! Y'all made my morning!

Cher M.

Yelp
Sat morning 1030am, and the place was closed. I was really looking forward to trying this place based on its good reviews. I hope it will be open again soon.

John M.

Yelp
I'm so glad I found this place. Just came here this past weekend and it was such a delight. All of their prices are so reasonable! Especially at this time. All of their portions are also very generous. I also love how fast they are with the food. The food were soooo good. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We came during the day so I can't imagine how beautiful it is during the night time- being on the rooftop. The bathrooms are also very clean. Which is very important. The staff are friendly, quiet but friendly. Their ice coffees are my favorite. I will most definitely be returning. Thank you for being open for us to enjoy.

Paige G.

Yelp
Overall, this place is pretty good! I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu. My bf and I split the Beverly Hills club (on ciabatta) and the steak sandwich. Both were pretty good! You order inside first and then choose a seat (outdoors) with a number they give you and then they bring you out your food. The portions were normal sized. Not small but not large either. The bacon on the club was cooked really nicely, as with the steak. Club Sandwich + Steak Sandwich + Lemonade + Can of Lychee Sparking Water = $42 CHECK IN ON YELP before you pay to save $5 on your order of $20+. Enjoy! Parking: Yelp says they have a private lot but it eas gated closed and might just be for employees. There is metered parking around. Beware of permit only parking on the residential streets next to it. If you go a block or so up you can find 2 hour parking. Meter people were out and ticketing when we were looking for parking.

Mia R.

Yelp
My failure to make reservations at a popular spot next door left me with a growling stomach and an hour wait time I was too impatient to deal with. I decided to skip my usual spot and try Comoncy down the block instead - and I'm glad I did! Comoncy is a modern and trendy breakfast/ brunch/ lunch spot. Easy street parking and 0 wait had me drooling on a Sunday afternoon. I got the delicious matcha green tea latte and fresh caprese sandwich. The staff were so friendly and always had a pleasant smile! We got our food very quickly as well and chowed down. The caprese was good - my only complaint was that it was a little dry, but other than that I was very happy with the meal! I may as well make Comoncy my new go to spot in the area! Be sure to check in on Yelp for a little $ off your order!

John F.

Yelp
To even give this establishment a star after what I experienced today is generous. First, let me say that we need to really start holding customer-service businesses accountable for their utter and complete lack of customer service since covid. These businesses are not hiring enough staff to run their establishments properly or thoughtfully, nevermind professionally. Second, businesses need to be paying and treating their staff well so that they are motivated to work wih pride and care. Today, I paid almost 70 dollars for pancakes, an egg sandwich, avacodo toast w poached eggs on top. I included a 20 percent gratuity at the time of paying while ordering. What ensued after that payment was a disgrace. First, the tables(all outside) were dirty. Second it was windy and cold and zero... let me repeat... zero heaters were hooked up or working. And when I asked for them to be, not just for me but for all customers, they had no gas to do so and could not use the electric plug ins. Third, our order took over 40 minutes. All the other tables as well were waiting about the same time, even longer. I politely asked how our food was going at the 35 minute mark... I was told they were working on it. Fourth, when the food arrived it was really bad. My side of bacon looked like it had been cooked days ago. My avocado toast had brown guacomole spread on it and hardboiled(lol) poached eggs(no joke). The pancakes were under cooked. Luckily my friends sandwich was edible(with good bacon too). I went and asked for new bacon. Let's just say the second plate of two pieces for $3.50 was grosser than the first. The server even agreed. I demanded a refund on the avocado toast and the bacon. It was given to me. I apologized to the serving staff; it wasnt their fault; it was the managment and owners! Fifth, there was NO manager on duty the entire hour plus we were there. None. And when I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that they were not there. Sixth, the excuse for the insanely poor food and quality of experience was blamed on there only being two people working in the kitchen... and while they clearly were working to the best of their abilities...the food they cooked was, to put it bluntly, LOUSY. I live in the neighborhood and get a coffee and pastry often at this establishment, so to try their breakfast and have such a bad experience was really disappointing, as well as angering. You can't charge the prices they are if you cannot deliver on the quality of food or setvice experience that accompanies such a price point! Period. Too many other restaurants in the area can! And do! I was planing on going to Breakfast Republic on samo blvd... and should have stuck with my gut!!Their service, quality of food, and pride in providing both is always evident ... not to mention the price would have beem less for the same. !! Worse, the amount of hostility and stress the servers has to endure from me and truly almost everyone else there was not okay! Management and owners really need to take stock of how badly they are running this place!! They would have served their business better by remaining closed today instead of alienating all the guests who were willing to eat there. Now, none of us will neither be retruning most likely nor spreading any kind of postivie word-of-mouth on the joint. Anyway... Needless to say, 2023 started off rough for me today at this place haha... hope it isn't an omen of what is to come in customer service for the year...

Brandon A.

Yelp
Food was great Service was good They have heaters on the patio so I wasn't cold Overall 10/10

Anisha B.

Yelp
Went here for brunch today (Sunday) at noon. It's an order first and find your table to sit, and the line was short say 10 mins and we found a table for 3 easily. I had a matcha latte, husband a chai latte and mum a cappuccino and we all were happy with our drinks. Coming to the food. The food was taking quite a bit so we checked with our sever who told us the food we be reaching any minute but then he quickly came back with a plate of complimentary pancakes since the order had taken a while, and the kitchen wasn't really done working on it. The pancakes were delicious. SO fluffy! 3 huge pancakes. I'm so glad we got to try them. The food came out soon after: I got the eggs Benedict- eggs perfectly poached served with a side of roasted potatoes and salad. I really liked their salad too. Husband got the chicken panini sandwich and he throughly enjoyed it. Portion looked smaller than it actually was because it was quite filling. Mum got the breakfast burrito and was pleased with it. We even ordered the French toast to share but decided to cancel it as the food had taken so long and we were out with an infant so were on a time crunch but then they gave it to us anyway to go and refunded us for it!! They really went above and beyond in customer service and made up well for the delay in food, and that's what earns them the 5 stars. I'll definitely be back because I loved not having to wait an hour for brunch for really enjoyable food! We all overate- the pancake was definitely the star dish for me.

Emerald I.

Yelp
We came for a quick brunch before a school event last Sunday. It was our son's idea to go to Comoncy and we were so glad we listened to him. We've been coming in the afternoon most of the time and we haven't really tried their brunch menu before. We got to try their buttermilk pancakes this time, with bananas and strawberries. It was delicious!!! Sooooo good! (I was actually thinking about it today, this is why I had to post ). We also got their Smoked Salmon Benedict and it was just perfect! ..... Having a warm Matcha Latte seemed like the best idea. As soon as I saw it, my heart warmed up right away! My son loves the bread (baguette) here. I usually order "Good Breakfast" from the kids menu for my kid, but instead of bacon, I always ask them to replace it with spinach instead. They always accommodate this request, which is really nice. More on my blog: https://www.emeraldincali.com/

Yelp
Both salads ordered were amazing. Plus we shared a mac and cheese which was just the right amount of cheesy. For drinks, get the matcha lemonade! They get the balance just right and it's perfect for a sunny day. Great patio seating and the service went above and beyond for a counter style ordering system!

Cynthia T.

Yelp
Decided to go here for brunch due to the positive Yelp reviews and delicious looking photos, however I'm very disappointed due to the following reasons: 1. It took us 20 minutes to order despite being only the 3rd party in line because the cashier was also running beverages to tables. The restaurant wasn't even busy/at full capacity. 2. They tell you your table number before you order and set your number at a table for you. They mixed up our table assignment/number with two other tables (again it wasn't even busy). 3. I ordered the Beverly Hills Club sandwich and it was very underwhelming. The chicken was very cold, there was barely any sauce so it tasted bland, and there were barely any "organic greens" on the sandwich (so little that I thought a piece of the salad just ended up in the sandwich). The salad also lacked dressing and was like eating dry leaves. There are plenty of other delicious brunch & lunch places in LA that are worth your money, so I recommend going elsewhere.

Miss M.

Yelp
Stopped in to have lunch and get some work done. Nice fresh tasting food and a sweet shaded area to get some work done. The only thing missing is outlets ;)

Jackie L.

Yelp
First off, I'll start by saying... Super clean! Which is big right now! It was busy but the line moved quickly and the staff made sure I was acknowledged and helped as soon as possible. I ordered a cold brew iced coffee and a caprese sandwhich. The iced coffee was nice and strong which was what I look for in a coffee, and being 80 degrees out in LA, iced was the way to go! They brought my food to my table and I was thoroughly impressed! The bread was crispy but not too hard. The mozzarella, basil and tomato was super fresh which literally makes the whole sandwich. The side salad of mixed greens it came with was crisp and yummy too. I didn't even realize it came with it! What a treat. I'm so glad I stopped by for a quickly served, delicious meal! It was definitely worth the traffic and drive.

Yeon S.

Yelp
Wow, the worst brunch I have ever had... haha I got an omelette which was over priced, iced americano which didn't even have enough ice inside. It took them 30 full minutes(it was slow) to bring out my omelet, it was UNDERCOOKED, portion was tiny. And the worst part is that I tipped them 20% when ordering the food, there is no service at all. The patio seems beautiful and all, but I would never come back here.

Armen A.

Yelp
You know the place is going to be great when you take your first bite of food and realize you'll definitely be back. My wife and I live in the neighborhood and have been looking for some great brunch spots and this place hits the mark. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how cozy the outside environment is. You leave the busy hubbub of 3rd Street and walk into a very chill setting. The first thing I see is a dog which means they're pet friendly. That's always going to be high up in my book. The menu offering and coffee is wide ranging so there's enough for everyone to choose from. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and I've attached pictures. Both of them were cooked well, seasoned correctly, and were well portioned. Cannot complain about them at all. The only knock was that the side salad could have used a little more dressing. But that's something I can ask for next time. There's plenty of room outside and space heaters. You can plug in your laptop and waste away a few hours on some delicious coffee and good food. Definitely going on the rotation of restaurants for us. Parking can be a little challenging but it's West 3rd Street so that comes with the territory.

Melissa G.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this relaxed casual restaurant. My husband and I sat on the floor level, but noticed that the upstairs patio would be nice for the sunset. A great quick and easy lunch spot.

Inna G.

Yelp
I had most amazing experience wit this place. Food is great Atmosphere is so friendly Perfect for quick brunch/lunch My egg Benedict was soooo delicious. No complaints. And this coffe is soooo yummy. Love love love this place. 10 from 10

My girlfriend and I went to Comoncy for the first time. It is the perfect place to hang out while getting some work done on your computer or have a casual lunch date like we did. I was amazed at the cute outdoor sitting and bright modern design yet very cozy. The menu has many vegan and healthy options. We ordered The EYE Matcha, Cuban sandwich and Bedford salad with Chicken. Everything was amazing!!! The server was so sweet and she treated us with a complimentary brownie. Also Intelligentsia coffee on draft...You can't beat that. Now this is my favorite spot to do some work or have a cute casual date. Also Plenty of parking available on the street.

Yelp
5 Stars, surprising find for a delicious brunch. My friend and I were on a morning walk in the neighborhood when we walked by Comoncy and decided to get breakfast. FOOD: Salmon Eggs Benedict - You can't go wrong with salmon eggs benedict on english muffins! Single stack of blueberry pancake - This pancake was so good! Perfect amount of sweetness with a blueberry compote and whipped cream on top. COFFEE: Black Cold Brew - Bold with nutty flavor notes. Cold brew just the way I like it. Overall, delicious, fast, and best of all, no long lines or crowds for brunch. Definitely going to be one of my neighborhood breakfast spots when you're looking for something easy on a weekend.

Yelp
Comoncy is around the corner from where I live, so I am a quite often visitor. Love their breakfast, brunch and lunch menus as they contain few but great vegan options. Avocado toast with side of potatoes is probably my favorite 100%

Yelp
Omg Comoncy is truly one of my favs! Not only do they have amazing food and coffee, but the staff and service is always so great. I can't say enough good things. I love the outdoor seating here as well- such a fun vibe and the rooftop seating is GORGEOUS. Highly recommend their chocolate chip pancakes, and their breakfast burrito.

Yelp
I go back like every couple weeks now. Breakfast sandwiches are 10/10 and the staff is always so friendly. I also love their matcha! Amazing spot!

Yelp
BEST CROISSANT BREAKFAST SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD and the white chocolate and berries cookie is absolutely amazing! I substituted the turkey bacon for regular bacon and l loved it! I also got the local honey latte and it was really good too! 10000/10 Alex the chef was so nice and welcoming, the staff here was so sweet (Kat and I forgot the other lady's name) and I definitely recommend coming here!

Yelp
We loved both outdoor sitting area and roof deck. It wasn't crowded so we felt comfortable removing our masks to eat. We ordered the Lox Benedict and Lox Toast. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, and we received the order within 10 minutes. I personally liked the Lox Benedict better, but they were both very good. We tried the matcha latter and chagaccino latte (both with oat milk) . They were both good. This was my first time trying a Chaga latte and I enjoyed it! It tasted like a latter with a touch of cinnamon and earthy flavor. The orange juice was not bad, but I wish they offered fresh squeezed! Overall, we enjoyed the service and food. :)

Yelp
Dined here and it was such a perfect spot for social distancing safely. We came on a weekday morning and it was just me, my boyfriend, and one other gentleman on the HUGE rooftop patio. Amazing! I ordered my standards that I always try at every brunch place, the avocado toast and their NEW eggs Benedict (actually came out today!) and they were both amazing. I liked that their avocado toast bread was extremely fresh and crunchy and their bacon was not too fatty on the Eggs Benedict. I also got the Matcha Lemonade and the Chaggacino (their new mushroom latte that only adds 40 cal) and omg.... so good! I was not expecting such good drinks since my latte only had monk fruit, mushroom, etc. Definitely coming back soon!

Yelp
Fresh fare with al-fresco seating. We ordered The Kale Salad with cup of soup (tomato basil), a sesame bagel and the Croissant French toast. Everything came out delicious. Service was a bit backed up so we waited about 20 minutes for our food to come out. We had a late lunch on a Saturday. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Yelp
Such a great spot and perfect for social distancing! They have a massive rooftop and also have wifi if you want to do some work. Plus they have so many food options including a great array of vegan options. If you're looking for a great brunch, lunch spot this is a must add to your list. I personal love eggs benny and they have so many options from a veggie to a traditional.
