nice coffe shop, great service, good wifi, ac was cold inside but they have more seating outside patio style. they also validate parking for 90 minutes. cubano latte was amazing and too good to go bag came with a thin baguette sandwhich and 3 pastries, pretty good deal!

Very nice patio tucked away at the back of an office building. Good for working/studying if your devices have good battery life - wifi but no power outlets. Gender neutral accessible bathrooms located on 2nd floor, need keycard from staff to access elevator. Very good egg breakfast sandwich and decent vanilla latte. Very friendly staff! No dedicated parking lot, walk up or park in nearby neighborhood

We needed to grab lunch in the area that was low key. There was only a group of 4 before us but it took a while for them to take our order. It took even longer for our sandwiches to be prepared and we didn’t even order coffee. On the plus side, they have indoor and outdoor seating. The bread on my caprese sandwich was top notch. The croissant was delicious. We had to ask security to use the restroom.

I had comoncy in Beverly Hills and the service and food was great but this location — which I had doordashed and it was not good at all. I got the grilled chicken panini and requested gluten free bread but it felt like they gave me half gluten free and half not… as you can see in the picture. Also it says it comes with avocado — which it didn’t come with avocado at all. The sandwich was so oily and it didn’t feel satisfying, there was cheap chicken breast inside and little tomato. So I think the service was poor in general and food was mediocre. I asked for scallion aioli on the side and they accommodated which was great but other than that the whole meal was pretty disappointing.

The breakfast burrito came with avocado, small bits of undercooked bacon, and packets of Tapatio hot sauce. The menu doesn't say avocado was supposed to be in it, and it was supposed to come with housemade salsa.

Absolute best cappuccino in LA. And the food is great as well. Get the turkey chopped salad or avocado salad. Really good cafe with outdoor patio to work from. Updating my review: this place added new salad choices and have specials which are great. Noticed prices here are more competitive then other places around Westwood too. I come to the Comoncy nearly everyday, and I'm obsessed with their vanilla iced lattes. They're always super friendly and provide fast service. Highly recommend you go to Comoncy for your next coffee or lunch break!

I've been here a five or six times, usually for coffee and occasionally for breakfast. They are always a solid option. Cute outdoor patio, small indoor seating. No parking as far as I could tell. Service is okay, the cashier was nice enough. Food comes out slow so make sure to order ahead if you're in a hurry, or be okay waiting. I was not in a hurry so I didn't mind. I've always enjoyed the breakfast burritos but this recent time they did not have the salsa to go with it, so it was bland. We asked the cashier for salsa and he said "there isn't any, just hot sauce" as if it's something they don't sell, when it is, in fact, listed on the menu with the breakfast burrito. Not the end of the world, but tastes better with salsa. TLDR: it's a decent spot, convenient if you're in the Westwood area. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but it's better than overpriced Alfred.

A great no frills no fuss cafe in Westwood. Not only do they have friendly staff, but their coffee and pastries are delicious. Be sure to come after 1:30 for 50% off pastries. The one downside is food can take a while if you order something not ready-made but that speaks to the freshness and quality of the food.

I ordered the turkey sandwich & it tasted excellent. I've never been here and definitely recommend it . Their prices are also reasonable for the area, in comparison to the other cafe's I've ordered in around Westwood Village.

Comoncy has everything I look for in a cafe - plenty of seating, free validated parking, quiet, good coffee and food. It's tucked away, hidden behind the office building on the SW corner of Westwood and Wilshire (the entrance is off Westwood Blvd). I regret not coming here more often when my office was across the street. Comoncy catered all of our lunch meetings, but now that we've gone remote, we no longer use their catering services as often. I make a point to come at least once a week now. I like their salads and sandwiches, but my favorite item is their coconut raspberry muffin. Their muffin and latte will brighten my mood for the whole day. Service has always been quick and friendly. Note that they close at 3pm on weekdays and are closed on the weekends. Tip: The parking lot entrance is on Ashton Ave, just south of Wilshire Blvd. Parking is free for 90 minutes with validation.

Stopped here for lunch while traveling for lunch on a work trip. I had the Beverly Hills club sandwich and a side salad. It was to die for. Service was good but when busy it's a bit chaotic. Ambiance is a typical lunch sandwich spot. Oh I also had a cookie which was amazing!. Overall good food which was flavorful and fresh. I can definitely come back when in the area

Absolutely delicious ficelle sandwiches. I got one of each. Efficient service and reasonable prices. Nice little patio with comfy seating.

We tried to go to this restaurant yesterday but they had a fire drill!! Today we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and 2 delicious lattes. They validate for 90 minutes!

Was in the mood for a tuna sandwich. And the best matcha latte I've ever had! Better than Starbucks matcha no joke! They were super sweet to add sweetener after receiving my matcha because I needed the extra sugar on this day.

I'm giving this location a lower star rating than it deserves because of bad customer service from one of their staff members. She's not friendly and clearly does not know the menu at all. I ordered the avocado toast and per the menu it included eggs. After getting my order, I realized it didn't have eggs. So when I brought this to her attention, she told me that I neglected to mention eggs with my order. I told her that the menu states that its included. Instead of apologizing, she continued to blame me and told me that it's an extra charge and that I have to ask for eggs every time I order avocado toast. I'm even looking at their menu on yelp right now and it clearly states this order includes eggs. I'm also looking at a printed menu and it also states that it includes eggs. Now, if the menu has changed and eggs are now an extra charge, please update your menu all around to avoid any confusion (especially for those who go to the Westwood location regularly). I will say their coffee is pretty good though!

Food was good, classic choices. This is a nice quick lunch outside for work. Nothing special, not a meeting lunch area. Sat outside, plenty of seating for nice California weather. Well priced for a quick bite.

I came here at first because I work locally and had never been, but I keep coming back for Nester. Being welcomed by a friendly face that always has knows how to make you smile is exactly how I want to spend my 10 minute break from the office . The food here is always so yummy, (i love the avocado toast) and nester makes the best coffee ! All of the staff is always so polite and nice, I love coming here .

Ficelle sandwich was hard. Lentil soup is pretty good. Go there to pick up pastries in the morning.

Found this cute little gem of a cafe while walking around Wilshire. It's tucked away quite nicely, so the outdoor patio is pretty quiet. I'm on the hunt for LA's best breakfast burrito and this is a COMPETITOR. The thick cut bacon pairs so well with the gooey potatoes, and the cheese strings out with each bite. The kitchen was out of pico de gallo today, but to be honest I liked it without. I didn't use the salsa either since it was too spicy for my taste. The chagachino was good, but a tad over priced. Oh! The online menu also has lower prices than the in-person menu.

Amazing ambiance, service AND food and drink. Very nice workers! I got a vanilla late and it was delicious!

While waiting for our passports to be completed strolled over to this great coffee shop tucked in the back so you have to look, but well worth it. The Changaccino was very good. Had the breakfast sandwich and it was outstanding as well. If you are waiting for your passports or just in the Westwood area highly recommend this shop, great food, and drinks, and the staff was very friendly also.

Almost hesitant to write this review because I'm afraid the wait times will be insane if ppl realize how good this place is! We had the breakfast burrito, French toast, and parfait. All 3 dishes were totally delicious! Perfect levels of complexity in each one and just awesome flavors! I'm excited to bring new friends and family to check this place out. Also, the urban, red- brick wall and garden area make for a really chill atmosphere. Bravo, Comoncy

I have a bit of a split review for this place. Let's start with the basics - 1) Food: I've tried a few lunch things, but the only thing I would continue to order is the chicken panini. Really delicious, and the bread they serve here is amazing. Serving size is definitely on the smaller side for how much the sandwich is, I think that's the biggest downside. (Also I do believe they have breakfast options, but I have yet to try those out - I will update once I have). 2) Service - 10/10. Everyone that works here is helpful, super kind and frankly one of the reasons I would continue coming. 3) Seating - plenty of tables/ chairs/ sofa-like chairs w/ pillows. Super comfortable, and there are umbrellas for the sun. Love that aspect. Overall I would recommend this place to the employees and people who are nearby.

Comoncy is a nice low key coffee shop if you want to do some work or just simply relax out on the patio. Can't say much for the food since I didn't order any but they do serve up some decent coffee. Everyone is pleasant and your order comes out quick and in good quality too! So not much else to say but to enjoy this little gem of a cafe.

Cute little cafe/restaurant behind one of the Wilshire highrise buildings, probably catering mostly to the office buildings in the area. I was surprised to see a pretty big terrace area in the back with a cute setup. We ordered the avocado toast and egg-celent sandwich to share among the two of us. Portions were perfect for 2 people. Now let's talk egg quality... literally the most perfect poached eggs I have ever seen and had. The white was perfectly cooked and the yolk perfectly runny! They got that down so perfectly! Overall though, the food was easily yummy! Highly recommend for a quick chill breakfast. Coffe was good too. They also have pastries if that's your thing for breakfast.

I always order from this place but somehow the Avocado Salad I ordered didn't sit well in my tummy. I do like their soups.

What a cute hole in the wall. I would've never known this place existed if I hadn't been scouring yelp for places to try. It's located inside an office building. I'm really impressed with the service and loved being able to sit on the patio out back and enjoy a meeting with some colleagues after a run. I got the avocado toast which comes with two poached eggs. Super yummy and has a nice crunch with the radishes. My friend got the French toast and it looks SO delicious! I also got an iced latte which was smooth and a nice to sip on outside. The wait staff were super attentive and even came outside to check if we were doing alright several times. People should visit this place more! It's definitely a place to try!

Located in the office building on the first floor. It is a little coffee and sandwich shop that I presume caters to those in the building. The place has a nice outdoor seating area in the back with couches and sunshades so you can enjoy the LA sun while you eat/drink. The store inside is pretty cramped with a few tables since a majority of the seating is outside. I came looking for a place to work. The place has wifi but no power outlets so hopefully you got enough juice in your devices. I got the cold brew and the soup of the day which was a "Green Soup". The cold brew was very strong and didn't taste as smooth as expected. The soup, as well, had a strong flavor of broccoli and nothing else. It came with a piece of baguette that added the needed carb for the soup and a dipping vehicle. The cafe can be a quick stop for those who need a quick coffee break but I don't think it can compete with other coffee shops.

The food here is a joke. I ordered the eggs tartine and got an over-cooked (chewy) egg square. My brother ordered oatmeal, and it was 90% water. Nothing like the one in Studio City, which is a FANTASTIC breakfast place. Not sure why there wouldn't be some sort of quality control to make sure the experience is consistent across the board, regardless of location.

Very good lunch place convenient for lunch. I discovered it on the Ritual app so I could mobile order my food. This is probably a good thing since it takes 20 min to walk there and back out of my 30 minute lunch. The food is delicious (had the breakfast burrito a few times and the ficelle with a side of soup.) The workers are friendly too. It can be a little hard to find but there are signs pointing you to the back of the building.

After reading all the reviews I just had to give this place a try. I was really excited to try the avocado toast with a perfectly poached runny egg as others had reviewed. I was disappointed when I cut my egg in half on both pieces of toast and it was completely cooked ( see picture). I also tried the latte, but it felt like a cappuccino with all the extra foam. Im not sure if I just went at a bad time. I went in at 11:30 and they seemed to be busy filling a lot of lunch orders for delivery. I would want to give this place another try but I feel like $17 for okay toast and coffee was a prettty hefty price tag

I am a huge fan of this coffee shop :-) it's a little gem that's hidden in between the big buildings on Wilshire! But if you're able to find it, lucky you :-) first of all, the outdoor seating is wonderful. Everything is covered by a shade and there are beautiful succulents that's around the seating. The person who decorated the backyard is really talented, and the music that's selected for the outside was perfect. Very relaxing, Bossa Nova, some Latin music also, and just a nice place to go during the middle of the day. I really enjoy their coffee and they have all kinds of milk that you can add for those who are lactose intolerant. They also have wonderful small sandwiches that all look fresh and the workers seem to be very happy inside. I've been coming back to this place pretty often because I really like the atmosphere in this Cafe. Would definitely recommend this coffee shop for anyone who's looking for amazing coffee, wonderful service oh, and a beautiful backyard setting :-)

I did not have an exceptional experience at Comoncy. It was just average. I ordered the egg sandwich and a hot tea and I was very disappointed at my serving size especially for the price that I paid for my food. Not to mention they took an exceptionally long time to bring my friend his food and messed up his order. The environment was very well suited for the office buildings around it. They did validate parking (thank god) because it was really expensive. And they do have a wide variety of food and drink options. I'm not sure if I would return to this place, I just felt it was mediocre.

So excited to have something in Westwood that is this delicious and healthy, made with farmer's market produce. The Thai salad so far is my favorite, with all the attention to detail. Seasoned peanuts, ginger crisps, and jicama all balance out the flavors perfectly. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food comes out fast. They validate parking. And the chef also chatted with me today about some of his special creations, like pickled cherries and jams. I got the pickled cherries in and can't wait to try them. We'll be regulars here.

Ordered avocado salad. The Food has potential, however service can use some help. It wasn't busy, only 2 other customers. I ordered, paid, and tipped. Asked if the order will come to me as I wanted to sit outside. She told me to wait and they'll call my name. 10 min wait, I grabbed my bowl and utensils... normally I wouldn't make this a big deal but as I was eating out of he mixing bowl (salad was not moved over into a dish, it was a metal bowl)... I was just curious why I tip when it's self service and not served on a plate but the bowl that was used to mix the salad. Anyway, sad to say this isn't a great first impression and not sure I would stop here again.

walked to this place from the W, about 1/2 mile. Its a little cafe in lobby of a nondiscript office building, but it opens up into a really nice outdoor space. the pics i took don't do it justice. Gourmet egg sandwich. organic eggs, bacon. and greens with scallion mayo on artesian whole grain toast with an espresso. Ingredients were fresh tasting- greens tasted like they came from a local garden, and perfectly dressed with a subtle light citrus finish. eggs and thick cut smoked bacon also organic and cooked perfectly. scallion mayo was just enough of both. Nice meal.

This place has delicious food and great coffee! The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Good prices, good food, and nice cafe atmosphere. The food comes out quick, but you can tell it's fresh! Their coffee is strong, so that's a plus in my book.

My favorite coffee spot with my coworkers during lunch time. They have a cute outdoor patio and the staff were friendly. The price is a little on the pricey side but I wonder how they holding up in this pandemic since we haven't been for a while. Looking forward to a better time and will go back soon.

BEST BEST BEST Breakfast I've ever had!!! Found this place 2 days ago via DoorDash and ordered their Egg-cellent sandwich and oh-my-God!!!! This place rocks!!! Also called in for another order and spoke with Christina and she was very sweet, and kind!!! By far my most favorite Go to place for coffee and breakfast! Their latter, and machiatto are to die for!

I want to spread the word about this quaint, delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot! It's hidden between skyscrapers and has poor signage, so don't worry if you can't find it at first. Look for the orange sign. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. They have indoor seating as well as a cute patio with shady and sunny tables and couches. We experienced great service. It was my friend's birthday so she got a free pastry, which was flaky, warm, and buttery. I had the avocado toast with two poached eggs and was given a large heaping if guacamole, so considering the price I was pretty happy. The barista can make any coffee drink however you like it, so play around with the substitute milks and flavors. I ordered an iced oat milk late, which was fantastic!! Left so full. Overall really good experience and I hope to be back!

This is a rare find and a quirky place that serves some very tasty breakfast treats in a weird little back patio area behind a Wilshire office building/condo? It's really just like a takeout spot where you order at the counter. Then food is brought to you in a very peaceful, clean, spacious outdoor seating area. No one is rushing you. No big crowds. No wait. Yet, right just about at the mouth of downtown Westwood where every place worth eating at is cramped, booked, hurried and overall stressful esp move in weekend. Hours are not favorable. Closes at 3 weekdays and no weekends. Not really a restaurant, but yet very tasty breakfast food and oddly awesome atmosphere as long as eating behind a big office tower doesn't bug you. Didn't bug me. A pretty nice find. Looked like they did a lot of takeout business probably to people in the building? If so, those people have a gem of a breakfast/lunch joint on site.

Good place for lunch and to soak up the sun. I love their patio when the weather is nice! Their cappucino is among the best in the area and fairly priced. I like their breakfast plates/sandwiches. Be warned that this place is a little pricier than others in the area. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Take advantage of their loyalty program!

We were starching where to eat and we saw this sign so that's why we came in the first place. The service is really good, and so is the food. I really like the turkey sandwich, with salad because it's well formatted on the plate and it taste delicious as well.
