Company is a beautiful working space. You do have to be a member, though. The lobby and coffee shop are worth stopping in for, though.

Google
Solid place to work. Unlike the public library it's not freezing cold but almost as spacious! Good wifi, lots of seating, outlets in the coffee shop area. The coffee shop is at the south-west corner of the lobby with a large table and smaller tables with outlets under the seats. The lobby has a lot of couch seating and coffee tables. There is seating near the bar along the southern edge of the lobby too.

The staff at Grand Central Tech are one of a kind. They allow our organization, Defy Ventures, to hold events there all the time. They go above and beyond to ensure we have everything we need and they take a personal interest in our organization's mission. All of their spaces are absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Grand Central Tech and will enjoy working with them in the future.

I’ve visited Grand Central Tech twice now for events - one was on cyber security and the other to see Ryan Holiday as part of their Authors @ GCT series. The content was great, the conversations were thought provoking and the space was beautiful. Will definitely be back for future events!

Patrick

Google
Attended their event featuring Author/Marketing wiz Ryan Holiday. The space was beautiful - the event was well attended and guests were taken care of by staff. Great refreshments and snacks were available and the talk itself was a great learning experience. Audience members had a chance to ask questions and the host did a good job having those questions lead to provoking discussion. Will definitely return for another talk!

We were one of the GCT companies in 2016 and our company really enjoyed our time in this space. Great location, and beautiful views. Plus, a great team to help support your company growth!

Google
I visited Grand Central Tech for their first Authors @ GCT series with Ryan Holiday. It was such a great and warm space! Highly recommend. I look forward to going back for other events in the future.

Google
You are doing a great job. I am investing with your platform, I love every bit of it but the most frustrating thing is the process to verify my ID documents issued by Netherlands in the EU which clearly shows all my info as requested and still the platform fails to recognize it. Is there no email on your website availed to address such issues?

Yelp
Needed a place to work close to Grand Central and fired up the Yelp app and this place looked like a good fit for me and indeed it worked out well for me here. This place is massive and the main floor is spacious with many areas to sit, work, meet people, etc. I came in here around 9am on weekday and place was swarming with people. Coconut cold brew was good, lightly sweetened. Plenty of places to set up shop and work, with outlets and wifi is good. Bathrooms are a bit hidden here but thats not a bad thing when its NYC. Overall, a great experience and would definitely come back here to work when in the area.

Yelp
November 2023: Delicious coffee and the price was reasonable for an Americano. Service was fast and courteous. The coffee shop is located in the spacious lobby of the Vanderbilt located in Madison Ave. I was impressed with the interior and the amount of table seating and diners there were, yet there were seats available. Maybe it's still on the down low but this coffee shop is a great place to work at, meet up, have a quick business meeting, etc. in midtown. Definitely not a 'quiet' space so bring headphones. Wifi available. Accepts cash, card and Applepay. Wifi available. Indoor seating and take out. Bathrooms available. Drink up!

Yelp
I discovered this place by looking up nearby coffee houses after finishing lunch at Urbanspace, and boy am I glad to have found it. It's beautiful and elegant and has nice vibes. I caught up on some work while sipping on my iced matcha latte. Baristas were chill. They have outlets and wifi, but it can get kind of packed so could be a hit or miss with outlets depending on the time. When I got there around 1:30/2ish it wasn't too busy, maybe 3 tables with outlets left...but within the hour it filled up pretty quickly. Would definitely come back for the vibes.

Yelp
I almost don't want to share about this place because I want to let out the secret. I found this spot on Yelp when I was looking up a place to meet with my friend in midtown. I wanted someplace spacious with comfortable seating where we could have a private conversation undisturbed. Then, I came across this co-working space in midtown. I was blown away by how charming it was. It had such nice comfortable chairs, lots of available seating, both for large and small parties. Some folks were working and others, like us, were just meeting for coffee. Everyone was speaking at respectable levels. I also really liked the ambience and decor. I didn't explore all of food/ beverage options but there was at least one coffee stand and another counter selling small food items (don't expect to find a lot of choices though). Overall, I think this is a great meeting place centrally located in midtown East. I hope it stays uncovered for some time though because it's a great secret.

Yelp
This place has great food and excellent coffee. It's also a fantastic place to do some remote work. The caveat is that it's a business and if you bring outside food and drink in, or don't spend money there, or (and I saw this with my own eyes) take your shoes off and put your feet on the furniture, you are going to get asked to leave. So follow the rules and don't ruin it!

Yelp
One of the best places to get work done in the city. There are clean restrooms, good drinks, outlets, free wifi, and plenty of tables. Prices for the drinks are decent considering the location and amenities they have to offer. My charger was a bit loose plugging into the outlet. It can get a bit loud, but I was able to tune out the noise. Just right off of Grand Central, so when you finish your work, you can head home easily.

Yelp
Located not too far from Grand Central station with a walkway down, you can grab a cup of coffee or tea here. Their menu is very simple and straightforward so you can't get that confused and they have plenty of seating in the atrium as well as in other spaces around this location as they share it with the building as a number of common spaces. They do close relatively early like most of the coffee shops in business areas. Service primarily consists of orders only, no one bringing anything to your table and the ambience feels like you're taking a bite in a hotel lobby. The green tea here was okay but mostly ice and not too much tea. A large was about 16 oz., small 12 oz.

Yelp
The perfect spot to study or get some work done, the cafe itself is modern and industrial. If there isn't room at the cafe to sit the lobby of the building itself is absolutely beautiful and full of places to sit, eat or work. I ordered an iced chai tea latte & it was delicious!
google avatar

Li W.

Yelp
Such a beautiful ambiance, I would've loved to discover this place while I was in my studying period of life. It's one of those rare places you can stay for many many hours and not feel bad about it. A coworker brought me here for us to catch up, and it was lovely. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is truly a hidden gem. Debating if I should write about this or not since it's an oasis of tranquility. How did I find this place? I ordered food from an app since it's nearby. I was walking back and forth trying to find this entrance and see a small sign so I decided to walk in to a dimly lit hallway and up a set of stairs. It opened to a big open space. This place opened 2 years ago. The place sells beverages and pastries. I got a breakfast cookie (oatmeal raisin cookie) and 2 pistachio topped danishes with filling inside. - The cookie was filling since it's dense. - The danish was sticky and huge. The employees are friendly and greeted me when I was a bit bewildered trying to find this place. I didn't take a picture of the sitting area but will do it next time. Go check them out.

Yelp

Yelp
I almost don't even want to write this review because this place is amazing and is THE BEST place to study in NYC. A tremendous amount of seating with outlets, natural lighting, super clean, very clean and nice bathrooms, coffee, pastries, and a lunch spot if you get hungry all across the street from Grand Central Station like are you kidding me? The coffee I got was just ok though and the spinach feta pastry was airy but not warmed enough. There are a ton of small and big tables and different areas to it as well so you can try and find your own little nook and get work done however you enjoy. There are some tables that face a wall so if you're looking for more private study time you can sit there. The decor is beautiful as well and for once there's a place to study where you can feel like you have space to breathe.

Yelp
I have to say.. I was conflicted to write a review here because it is a hidden gem I want to keep to myself.. Free wifi, very spacious overall, multiple outlets, spacious tables, and multiple bathrooms... The perfect place to wfh or just study/work with your friends!! Absolutely love the vibes here and feel very safe as there are multiple security guards who are overlooking the entire area. There are about 3-4 sections you can go to get set up to do work; the cafe area, right across near the bookshelves, the main lounge area, and upstairs. Each have their own vibe which I love! The cafe does close a little early but the area is still open for you to use (:

Yelp
Like others before have already mentioned, this place is truly a gem in Midtown. Simply put, from all the different coffee shops I've been to, this one is by far AND bar none the most opulent and lavish. Tip: Yelp lists this place as Culture Company, but the actual name (as of my 5/12/2023 visit) is "Company Culture Coffee Bar." Drinks are excellent as usual (a term I generally apply to NYC coffee shops compared to LA). Had the iced mocha with half & half, which uses Valrhona Chocolate along with a Pain au chocolat. Plenty of décor, tables, and outlets. Excellent lighting, and good lobby overhead music. Did I mention leather/pleather seats, couches, etc.? The list goes on... Such an aesthetically pleasing environment. Looking forward to returning.

Yelp
Very nice and secluded coffee shop in an office building that is open to everyone. Seating is somewhat limited and was fairly quiet. Cold brew coffee was good. I would go back for business coffee or to just chill.
google avatar

Genevieve M.

Yelp
Visited NYC and came to Culture Company to work. They had a decent amount of outlets and a TON of seating. The coffee is also really good and priced well. Baristas were also friendly and you could tell they took pride in their drinks. My only complaint is that the building is having construction done, so it can be a little loud sometimes.

Yelp
yooooo this place is top TIER the best place to do work while sipping on good coffee + yummy pastries!!! the space: starting with the space bc that's truly the highlight, huge seats everywhere and lots of outlets. you'll see tons of people working here throughout the day too, and people coming in for their lunch break. plus, lots of bathrooms!!! yay the food: coffee is good and i love their spinach / feta pastry and chocolate rugelach!! it tastes exactly like the one from breads bakery, maybe they get it from there??

T C.

Yelp
Nice environment that is open with lots of seating and quick service. I just had a coffee which was nice.

Yelp
Was meeting a friend while in NYC. This coffee shop was in his office building and super convenient. Located in the lobby on the first floor, Culture Company offers fresh brewed coffees and tea along with pastries and fruit. All a great way to start off your day. Keep on Yelp'n!

Yelp
This is the best find in the city! Amazing place to collaborate with others, study or get some work done. I was travelling to Manhattan with my teenage daughter. Was great to get out of hotel room and find a cozy space with great food, drinks, friendly staff and lots of outlets. There's a coffee shop, dining and even a bar. Public restrooms also onsite. Great place to feel safe and welcome while working near grand central in Manhattan.
google avatar

Solomon C.

Yelp
Convenient midtown location. The cold brew was fine but pricey. I was ok with it because of all the seating available.
google avatar

Alyson L.

Yelp
I can't believe a luxurious, nice place like this just lets me in off the streets. That's how this coffee shop/coworking space feels haha. It's so fancy it seems like a place where the security would stop you at the door. But all the staff are very kind and helpful. A beautiful, spacious place that's a great environment for working/studying. Lots of outlets, variety of table options, really aesthetically pleasing with lots of plants and warm colors. It feels cozy and I feel like you could stay here all day with the coffee shop and a place to eat all in one location. I kind of don't believe this exists.

Yelp
i see why people want this place to stay hidden LOL i'm not even a local and i want this place to myself the lobby is incredibly beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. the whole lobby is filled with stylish sofas and armchairs so take your pick. the coffee bar itself is on the side so it might be a little tricky to find. the staff was so friendly and service was quick! i got the lavender pistachio latte with oatmilk and it was the BEST latte i had on this trip. the almond croissant was also a 10/10

Yelp
Truly a hidden gem in nyc! Located right across from NYC, this coffee shop is located in the lobby of a building. Plenty of seating, wifi, and outlet. Great for hanging out w friends, meeting people, or just getting work done. At 4pm the coffee shop closes, but the building remains open until like 10pm so you can keep working!
google avatar

Marcus B.

Yelp
Love the ambiance! It's holds an open-spaced, luxurious decor, while also being out of the way. It's relaxed setting is great for grabbing a coffee, getting some remote work or study done, or socializing.

Yelp
So I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE! I want to gatekeep this but a true gem of a place to not share. I feel like this is definitely and alternative to a we work place with amazing food and coffee. Truly an amazing ambiance.

James C.

Yelp
Great space -- extremely crowed at 11 AM. Coffee was very good. Excellent place to meet when not so crowded.

Glo M.

Yelp
I'm always looking for a place to work in nyc, and I think I've found my favorite place! The coffee is good and there's plenty of tables with outlets. It's a spacious place and the music isn't loud so you can make phone/zoom calls if needed. This place is definitely a hidden gem !
google avatar

Molly C.

Yelp
The place I didn't know GCT needed. This has become my go to spot for coffee meetings and work when I'm in the city. Beautiful clean space to work from and quiet enough to take calls. Always seems to have tables available. Coffee is excellent.

Yelp
Read the other reviews. Went. They were right. Fantastic place to hang out in midtown and get some work done or meet up (and get some work done). All sorts of different seating and spaces: cozy couches with coffee tables, banquettes and two-tops, conference table, fake library/den. Open, well lit, quiet enough, no one pressuring you to buy this or move that. Seems too good to be true...but it is.

Gabi H.

Yelp
I was really pleasantly surprised by this place!! I can't believe how much great space and seating there was. I didn't take a picture of my coffee but I just got an iced vanilla latte it was pretty tasty. I sat there for about two hours and it was so nice to be in a space that felt so comfy yet classy. I didn't try the food because the pastries looked dry and old (but maybe they weren't!!)

Andriy G.

Yelp
We took croissants are cinnamon ban were just so, so. Coffe not much better that their croissants :(. Interior is nice.

Eva K.

Yelp
Beautiful gem ! Electric outlets plus a bar for when you're exhausted from coffee! !!

Bridget G.

Yelp
I purchased multiple drinks and food items, but was asked to leave during lunch time to make room for new patrons. Manager does not want those working at the tables during lunch time, even if they are paying customers.

Kate B.

Yelp
Great study place! Free wi-fi and you don't have to buy anything to sit in the place. It is inside a hotel and it has a lot of tables.

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
Very spacious area! Coffee and other beverage was decent. Perfect for a quiet space to work or study.
