Compass Café

Very cozy cafe. A lot of tables and chairs. Very good for a sit down to work on my laptop. Close to a kids' playground, so some yelling can be heard. Otherwise, I loved it.

Hidden gem for parents and students! Came here to do some work and got a mocha. Never knew it was here before. Mocha was great, there is a decent amount of seating AND THERE IS A PLAYGROUND. Cannot tell you how BIG of a win this is as a mom of young boys. I'll be back as often as I can afford it. Haven't tried the food yet but I will next time for sure Also, there is a bookstore. It is a Christian bookstore but this cafe is a part of a church so no one should be surprised by that.

I had hot a matcha tea that was yummy. Our server Bailey was friendly and helpful. It’s the perfect spot to focus and work while listening to contemporary Christian music.

Some of the best coffee in the area and they intentionally make their prices cheaper than local shops so why wouldn’t you go! The seating area is very comfortable and there’s always seats available. Not something you can say for some of the other local options. Can’t recommend enough

Unfortunately this was the worst chai latte I’ve ever had, even though I was really hoping that it would be good :( tasted like watered down milk with cinnamon and ginger, unsweetened. Paid $5 😭

Spacious cafe in Aliso Viejo with a small menu and great wi-fi. Compass Cafe is a local coffee shop affiliated with the Compass church. They offer a decent selection of coffee, tea and matcha drinks, and also have a small selection of pastries and bagels. Service was great, as the cashiers were friendly and welcoming. My drink was made to order, and was ready in about five minutes. There are a decent number of tables and outlets downstairs and there are also a decent number of tables on the second story. They have top notch, high speed wifi and is a relatively quiet space in the afternoon (be advised morning may be louder due to the various ongoing church activities offered). Overall, nice and clean coffee shop in AV.

This little coffee stand is located in the foyer of Compass Bible Church and open to the public all week (except Mondays) during posted hours. There is a vast amount of seating if you decide to sit and relax in the quiet atmosphere there. The list of offerings is short and simple. I asked for a vanilla latte but the kind barista sheepishly informed me they were out of vanilla so I opted for a honey latte. I just had lunch so, although the few pastries in the pastry case looked tempting, I passed this time. The honey latte was excellent, slightly sweet and served at a temperature that was immediately drinkable. I took it on the road this time but, as mentioned, the abundance of tables and the serene ambiance make this a great place to sit for a while and read, return emails, get some work done, contemplate the universe, or converse with a friend. I'm not often in this area but would not hesitate to stop here in the future to enjoy a coffee.

The matcha was not strong and tasted like instamatcha. It did not taste good. Maybe the other drinks would have been better. The place did look nice, since they decorated it for Christmas. Also, they had seating upstairs as well.

This is a wonderful little coffee shop in the heart of a church compound. The facility is so nice and relaxing and spiritual that you just want to spend hours reading books or something. There is an awesome playground attached to the coffee shop where parents can have their children play while they are enjoying their coffee. Their baked goods are delicious as well! Service is always fast and friendly! Love everything about it especially the name!

I love this quaint cafe tucked in Aliso Viejo. It's a quiet calming atmosphere by the church. I've had both their coffee and Matcha drinks... Very excellent by the way and tasty. I always try to come by here when I'm in the area. Be sure to check it out.

Such a sweet and nifty place! Got a cappuccino and loved it. The baristas were so kind and walked my drink over to me. Felt so much peace being there.

Compass Café is my new obsession--a true hidden gem! Not only does it serve up lattes so good they practically give hugs, but it also has a playground for the little ones and a mini bookstore for us caffeine-fueled bookworms. It's a win-win for playdates and mommy dates alike. I'm already planning my next escape there. How did I survive without this place on my radar?!

Had a delicious cup of coffee here over the weekend and love how open the space feels. Tucked away on a church campus, may be hard to find if you are a first timer.

New favorite hangout is Compass Cafe! Coffee and the banana bread is delicious! Everyone is so friendly! The cafe, lobby, bookstore are brand new, clean and welcoming! I not only enjoy the coffee, but also the fellowship around the tables and also be able to get my homework done in the lobby. There is a playground right outside the lobby, to meet for Mom dates! Highly recommend!

I had a latte with almond milk and met for a book club here on a Saturday morning. The latte was delicious, the service was prompt and super friendly, and there were many options for seating. It is a super cute aesthetic and great if you want to linger, study, meet a friend and not feel rushed.

Everything there is great. I have tried all their flavors. The staff is very friendly. A great place to meet friends or read a book.
