Some Montreal Nightclubs Are Closing Due to Coronovirus — But Not All - Eater Montreal

"It’s the same story over in the Village — relatively large clubs Sky (owned by Peter Sergakis) and Unity will also open, with limited capacity." - Tim Forster

Good music and cheap booze but kinda insane the dance floor is empty at 1:30 am. Take me back to when every floor was full!

Google
Sky has seen better days on the day I went (January 19 2025) there was only 6 other people at 1am. Only one of the 3 rooms were open, and DJ music choice was lame. I can't blame COVID as a year ago the place was packed. How can a place with no cover only a 4$ coat check and 5$ drinks be empty on a Saturday night.. I feel the youth of today have left the club scene. 5 years later, it's still as fun and pleasant as I remembered. Music, the vibes were all fun and amazing. 8 dollar cover (includes coat check) I appreciate that the drinks stayed cheap (3-6$)

Google
Best club in Montreal for dancing. If your goal is to just dance and have a fun night, this is the place to go. They have three floors with different music and vibe. The staff is pretty cool too. Highly recommended.

Google
This place is a Village institution, but they need to pull it together. I was surprised how quiet the patio was last Friday night, but after the service we had I guess that makes sense. Our server mocked my friend's order ("Basic!") and then when I asked what beers they have on tap, he told me he didn't know. I asked if he could find out and he said no. It turns out that he just didn't know what "on tap" meant so when I explained that he just asked what I wanted. I asked what Quebecois beers they had and he told me he doesn't know where things are from and would order me a Hoegaarden. I eventually managed to get a menu and they had a few selections from Archibald, which is a fantastic and storied Quebec brewery. The next day we wanted to give the place another chance. We took a table on the patio but I went in to order from the bar directly. The bartender here was friendly and attentive. We took our time finishing our drinks on the patio, and not a single staff member approached us at any point. I have some great memories of Sky bar, but I guess those days are gone. Such a shame.

Google
Wait staff is lively and energetic... But it is very hard to find them. It seems like there are just two people serving everyone. They may need more staff. Sangria is alright. We wanted more, too bad it was so hard to find someone to order from.

Google
This bar is really fun has 3 different music rooms you can dancing for, drink also not expensive, strongly recommend!!!!!!

Google
David the bartender at Rebel was so kind, funny and compassionate. I needed help getting an Uber and the were right there to assisted. It's a great laid back friendly environment!

Carley Rose

Google
Really disappointed! The drinks were bad, the music was awful, the woman working the coat check was incredibly rude and yelled at not just us but many other guests ahead of us while we waited in line, she got in altercations with basically everyone. I hate leaving negative reviews but this feels justified.

Yelp
Great ambiance and friendly and professionnel staff. Merci l'équipe!! Je reviendrai sûrement!

Yelp
"Get your drink on" In both of my visits to Montreal, I always make a point to stop here for a drink or 15. This multilevel bar/club has a little of something for everyone. The first floor is pretty chill and relaxed and the upper floor are more dance/twirk oriented. Try to get there a little early, make some friends on the first floor and go upstairs to dance the night away. Both the clients and staff are very friendly and helpful. Last year, I lost my wallet and someone turned it in but all of my money and credit cards where still present. :) The drinks are relatively cheap. But, it you are a "strong" drinker, I would suggest that you stick to martinis or drinks with no mixers. Canada does not do free pours for drinks so if you get a gin and tonic then it will be mostly tonic water. That is why I mention a drink of 15 above. If you bring a coat on a weekend, they will make you do coat check ($1.50 as of October 2015).

Yelp
When we saw that the line for Complexe was basically a block long, we figured we had to check it out. They have four floors: 1 is a bar/restaurant and very chill. Floor 2 has two bars with a medium sized dance floor, and floor 3 has 2 bars with a gigantic dance floor. Floor 4 is the roof. Floors 1 and 4 are very chill and are more for having a drink and some conversation. Floors 2 and 3 are packed with alcohol-fueled (and probably other types of fuel) patrons looking to burn up the dance floor. It's nice to have a choice based on how you're feeling. The unfortunate part is that this entire venue is cash only. The ATMs there only accept Interac cards. So if you're cashless or don't have an Interac card, you'll be forced to go back onto the street and look for a real bank. I'm not sure if the first floor does accept cards but I highly doubt it. The beers on floors 2 and 3 are dirt cheap. They usually go for $3.50 each. They have some cheap liquor shots that are the same price. The beers on the rooftop tend to be a bit more expensive. Maybe because they're more crafty brewed. It's definitely a cool place but come prepared with cash.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite bars in the Village. They have a great terrace facing St Catherine during the warm months, then they have a nice large bar inside with lots of seating area. Upstairs you can enjoy the rooftop terrace, which has nice views of the city as well as a nice little pool for soaking and getting refreshed. The staff has always been pleasant, albeit a bit rushed sometimes. Check out some of their Happy Hour specials that might include BOGO beer after 4pm.

Yelp
I'm not sure where to start. Sky is a bar/club/lounge/dancehall/anythingelseyoucanpossiblythrowinthere, on Saint-Catherine. It's gigantic. Like, 17 floors. Not really, but it felt like it. Each floor has a few different 'themed' rooms, playing a different genre of music. It's oddly amusing as you watch the majority of patrons do their thing. We went on Saturday night and it seemed pretty empty, although it might take the entire neighborhood to make a dent in this place as far as capacity is concerned. UGE. One thing is for sure - the drinks are as cheap as anything. Cheap drinks usually also mean cheap liquor. 'Tis true. Alas, I can see Sky being a good time if you're looking for a casual night out and some top 40 blasting from any of your top genres of music. Get ready. *dress to impress does not apply here.

Yelp
Endroit super pour danser, avec une clientèle plutôt sympathique, contrairement aux employés, qui sont en général, bêtes et agressifs. Dommage!

Yelp
Had a great time here. It was a rainy Saturday night, so we were afraid it was going to be completely empty. When we arrived around 10:30pm, it was. We spent the first hour on the first floor, where there is a comfortable lounge/bar area with flat screen TVs and very reasonably priced drinks. Loved the chill vibe. At around 11:30pm, we went upstairs. Floor 2 has two dance floors, one more hip hop, and one remixed pop. Both played great music. We alternated based on what songs were being played. The light effects were great, as was the sound. The space was well-ventilated, so it never got hot. They allow you to dance on the small make-shift platforms, which is always fun. Some places in other cities are very buttoned up and ban you from dancing on a platform or taking off your shirt, etc. Nope, not here! The third floor is a large techno remix floor. This is the largest room of all with high ceilings and great light effects. The whole night, the place never filled up, but I blame it on the weather! No cover.

Yelp
Sky Pub is HUGE! The best happy hour in the gay village. 1st Floor: Pub with happy hour. Be sure to sit inside in front of the huge garage doors that open, as the outside terrace they charge more for the beer. Next door to the pub, they also have a small restaurant. I have never eaten there. Will keep you posted. Sunday night is the best, as happy hour turns into a big fun tea dance. 2nd Floor: A big dance club. Open nights. Usually a cover charge. 3rd Floor: Massive Roof deck w/ pool. A fun place on a hot night. ;-)

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night during Divers/Cité with a couple gay guy friends and had a fun time! $4 cover is really reasonable (definitely cheaper than anywhere in Toronto) and the place is massive, with so many rooms to explore. We started on the rooftop patio, which is THE place to be on a nice summer night. It was really crowded, but there were servers circulating so that you don't have to always go up to the bar. The servers were really slow though, but at least they were friendly! There is a hot tub and a small pool. As for dancing, there are lots of choices from salsa/bachata on the ground floor to house and hip hop on the 2nd floor. Things pick up around 1am. The house room seemed to be the most popular, although I was not a fan on the DJ. He played each song for a really long time rather than mixing it up... The DJ in the hip hop room was much better. The crowd is predominantly gay but it's also a pretty hetero-friendly place too. The crowd was pretty mixed overall and it doesn't seem like anyone cares who you're with, what you're wearing, whether you're anglophone/francophone etc. as long as you're dancing and having a good time!
google avatar

Bill T.

Yelp
The balloons on the rooftop blocked my view but the drinks were cheap for Montreal standards.

Yelp
If you are missing San Francisco, or the High Heel Drag Race in DC, you will have a really good time at Sky's surprisingly good drag review. Honestly, it's sad that unlike the great "gay" clubs in places like DC and NYC, the straights in Montreal don't feel comfortable with these places. Apart from Ballroom Bar and Rouge, this place had some of the best dance/club music in Montreal. And the rooftop terrasse is perfect for cooling down. It's like a whole new bar/club up there. (I'm taking a star off for the drinks. I had several bought for me and there were generally pretty "mild")
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
So glad we chose this bar to stumble into in the Village! The drag show entertained us for a long time, the dance floors are spacious, and there seems to be a bar serving up alcohol in every nook. What more could you want? Sad that the terrace was closed while we were there, but you have plenty of other space to do your thing.

Yelp
My friend and I were visiting the Gay Village for the weekend looking for a spot that played decent music for us to dance, drink and have a night out. All of the locals that we asked referred us to this place if we were looking for decent music and dancing. We decided to go to another bar first and than showed up at around 11pm. When we arrived the line was not to long and we easily got in. Little did we know, that the establishment had over 4 floors. We decided to just head to the top floor to hear the music. At the time we arrived it was fairly empty but the music was great. It was a mix of old school 90's,00's club mixes which for me and my friend were an instant hit. Around 12 it started to fill up quickly with a very young diverse crowd. When it comes to drinks, I learned from other bars to skip the drinks because they are watered down and just do shots. They had fantastic deals on shots and overall had a fantastic vibe.

Yelp
LOVED IT. Great music, affordable, nice environment, great for people on a budget trying to have a night out. Definitely coming back

Yelp
Sky has a very usual way to pour draft beer. They pour one cup with beer and at the same time collect foam in the other cup. They then take the foam and pour it onto the top of the serving cup so you end up with two inches of foam. I'm guessing this is an economic move so foam isn't wasted. The bartender didn't appreciate that I didn't tip right away so he gave me a lecture on tipping etiquette in Canada. I won't be back.

Yelp
Woah. This place is absolutely huge. If your group cant decide on a music type for the night just come here. They have different floors and different rooms with all types of music! The first floor is a very large open space with same tables and a full bar. I was not down here very long as they were playing salsa music. Its just not something I am really a of or know much about. there were not many people down here. If you venture up the next flight there are 2 rooms on this floor. The one to the right was playing a mix of hip hop and pop. This would be the room with red lights. The room to the left (blue) was playing mixed top 40 which was pretty decent. If you venture up to the top floor, this is were you will find the massively long wait for coat check. like a super long wait. There is also a huge dance floor which was playing EDM/house. The music up here was great but there were only 3 people up here which made it feel awkward which is why I spent my time on the middle floor. I really did have a fun time here. The coast check takes a really long time and the middle floors get busy and hot! There is TONS of security which made me fell a little uncomfortable but I did not have any issues. The drinks were very cheap 3.00 for mixed drinks! cant go wrong there! I was also told this was a gay club. I went with my partner and did not feel out of place but, it di not seem like your normal gay club. I think its more of a everybody is welcome type of place.

Yelp
In the heart of the Village - Rue St Catherine's. Bar/club of four floors. Main patio in front and on the street- with lounge feel on main level. Second floor full of rnb/hiphop. Third floor electronic and dance. Best was the roof top. Patio like feel on the roof. There was a pool but no patrons in it :). We sat in the mid bar and bar tenders and patrons were friendly. Spoke both English and French it was easy to just hang out and communicate. We only had a few drinks no food. They do serve food and have a vast menu. We took son great photos at night but probably best to check out in day if weather permits. Bathrooms found on 3rd floor, co Ed. Cost check also on same floor. We did not pay cover Friday night. Lineup seemed long but got in fast. Able to walk in with my cane and no judgement :). Be prepared to walk some narrow steep stairs both up and down ;)!

Yelp
Cool club, didn't know it was a gay club. But that's no problem went in here with my girlfriend and her sister and her sisters boyfriend. It was pretty cool, good music. Had a neutral vibe, drinks were good, not overpriced like other places. Everyone was friendly, and super accommodating! They have all types of music for all goers! HipHop/Techno/etc!
google avatar

Elena C.

Yelp
Always a fun place on a Friday night. It's good silly fun on the Cabaret floor with standard pop music. There's also hip-hop across the hall and housey stuff upstairs. 4$ cover for these floors. The pub floor has a great 5 a 7 every night and during the summer they have a nice terrace on the street. There's also a latin night on Saturdays on this floor. Not my thing, but it's really popular and free! The roof top terrace has to be the best in the city. It's huge, they serve giant pitchers of sangria (standard red, white, and apparently now blue, although I haven't tried that one). It's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. It's also a nice place to watch the fireworks on Saturday nights and get served drinks at the same time! If you want a table though, get there early, it's quite a popular fireworks-watching spot. The only reason I am taking away a star is that sometimes it gets a bit too hot in the cabaret because of all the dancing boys packed in there. That alone wouldn't lose them the star, but I've had a few waiters on the terrace who weren't the brightest boys in little undies.... Overall, there's something for everyone music wise, and the crowd is pretty mixed...guys, girls, gay, straight (although mostly gay), and all ages.

Yelp
First night in Montreal, was buying shots from a fat drag queen. I handed her my coins (shots were only 1 dollar) and asked her if it was enough for 3. She started yelling at me saying "it's doesn't include gratuity, I'm not doing this for free." I had plenty of money to tip her, I just could not read the value of the coins in the dark. It was quite embarrassing, so I just asked for my coins back and walked away. I would rather have sex with Precious the fat drag queen then go back to that shit hole in the Sky.
google avatar

Cat N.

Yelp
There are three levels: the uppermost had the best music and was accordingly packed; the middle was house music pounding out to an empty dance floor and where you check coats; and the ground floor had the cheapest drinks at a more standard bar area, with some latin music coming on later in the night if that's your dance scene. Since the drinks are priced differently between floors but you can wander at your leisure, we started on the ground floor with four drinks for $15, and went up to the top floor once we were good and drunk. There's also fortunately no cover charge! We had such a great time here on a Friday night that we brought our friends back the next night. Great crowd just out to have fun - and a lot of good dancers if you just want to people watch.
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
I loved the concept of having multiple dance floors. We checked out this place on a Saturday and it was packed with people! Unfortunately the crowd seemed to be a bit dull, and not a lot of people were actually dancing, which seemed a bit strange to me.
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
Great bar for drinking. Bad bar to eat. Drinks are amazing if a bit pricey. Sangria 4 liter pitcher? Where else can you find that not anywhere I've been in the US. As for food this place was the most disorganized system of any establishment. A help yourself buffet for 3rd graders is more effective. Basically you seat yourself then hope a waiter or waitress notices you. They make you pay before the food even arrives and stand there asking to be sure to tip too. Your food might or might not come out right and might require 3-4attempts asking random waiters what the status is. And bees OMG bees bees everywhere all over the bar the staff basically ignores them. I don't smoke but would be willing to take up smoking just to ward off the swarm. Come here to drink by a pool on a rooftop. Do not eat here.
google avatar

Pema J.

Yelp
Fantastic terrace in summer. Very large, excellent view, decent selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Nice vibe, especially on weeknight. Good for a straight folks and women too- diverse crowd can be found there. Def check out this terrace all the way upstairs
google avatar

Spiro P.

Yelp
I had some great times at this nightclub. There is so much to do at this mega complex. The first floor has a drag revue and later they play a lot of salsa and meringue. The second floor is a discotheque and there is a strip club. The third floor is a bigger dance space. The rooftop has a bunch of lounge chairs and there is a pool and hot tub. People are really friendly here. This is a great place!
google avatar

Tyler G.

Yelp
Teach your security guards to not be so aggressive. If someone's partner is using the restroom and they are waiting for them to finish, don't tell them to wait on the other side of the room where said partner can't see them. Just chill. Great DJ's and bar staff, rude security. Beyonce was not in the house, so no need to be so serious. Be better because you have the potential to be amazing.

Yelp
My second favourite bar in Montreal. Went on a slow night (Tuesday) at around 11 and stayed until 3 AM. WOOHOOOO, I didn't know a cosmo could be so strong! I kid you not, within one sip, my world started to whirl. So I got two. (9$ for one, but well worth it.) Despite not many people being there, I still found somebody to talk to and had a great time taking in the ambience (Very cool lighting. Very pink!). Hetero friendly! Not that yours truly belongs to that group. ;) Just thought I'd let any of you out there know. Plenty of specials, especially with beer. The taps are right in front of the seats, so it's a bit cool and makes for an easier selection if you're new to beer. The man I was talking to that night said he had a great distaste for the "house wine," (a chardonnay) so I didn't try it, myself. My bartender, David, was very welcoming and paid well attention to everybody at the bar. Disco ball, fountain, plenty of dance floor, pool upstairs along with a patio, (bottom, outside patio, also) art, and television are some features of the bar. So take a seat anywhere you like, you're bound to have a good time.

Yelp
What can I say about Sky? Now, I don't go out like I used to since turning 30 a few years ago, but, while on Vaca with friends we decided to check it out. I lament the days of my early twenties, but I digress. Back to the task at hand. Sky reminded me of Manhattan clubs from the early 2000s! There was variety. You don't see that much anymore. Each area/room of the club was a different atmosphere. I also enjoyed the outdoor portion. I heard Biggie Smalls - I was set for the night. I would suggest paying a visit to Sky if you're visiting Montreal!
google avatar

Dan G.

Yelp
Places like this remind me of why I am not a huge fan of Boston night life. Sky has an amazing roof deck. I mean, amazing. Its huge, and not overly lit so you aren't blinded at night. They also have a pool and a jacuzzi (I think). This was the perfect place to just hang out and chat with your friends or possibly even meet new people. If you are not on the rooftop, then you are on the sidewalk people watching which is just as fun. If you are not there, then you are inside in the dance club. One word of caution. Bring cash as you cannot use a card on the roof and the ATM probably will not accept american cards.
google avatar

Yelp
We are visiting Montreal for the first time and knew nothing about where to eat. We walked past here, saw the menu outside and was then seated by a hostess telling us we could sit anywhere. After about five minutes, the bar tender/waiter came over and took our drink order. When he brought the drinks, he seemed annoyed when we asked for dinner menus, stating the bills for drinks and food are different. We had to then wait 15 minutes for the bar tender/waiter to take our food order. Despite the place being practically empty (there were about 20 people total there), it took another 40 minutes for three dinner salads to arrive. The bathroom is definitely an "open concept." At the bottom of the stairs, you are practically standing in the men's room. For both the men's and women's bathroom, there was one functioning sink, located in the men's room. So, if you are shy about women walking in to wash their hands while using the urinal, you're out of luck. The plus here is that the Caesar and Greek salads we ordered were very tasty. But, the service was ridiculously slow. We waited another 30 minutes for the check before having to go up to the bar and ask for it (as we had tickets for a show and had to leave). While the space and food are great, the service is so disorganized that I will likely not return.
google avatar

Joshua S.

Yelp
Stinky & Sticky If you enjoy the smell of washrooms, then go to Sky Bar. That aside, drinks are good, shows are entertaining, especially Shakira, and the upstairs patio is worth a visit. I would go back for the show and drinks.

Tarryn B.

Yelp
Was very disappointed in the staff and how rude they were to customers. I was manhandled by a security guard who pulled me away from my friend at coat check when i had my coat already and they separated us even when I said that i was just waiting for my friend. In addition one of the bartenders was incredibly rude and charged me for a drink that another client knocked over on the bar as it was sat down in front of me (not to mention it was a 4$ shot of jameson- Overpriceds drinks) The music was not good (think katy perry and despacito remixes), and for some reason theres a bunch of straight guys here trying to dance with girls (hello, its a gay club). Will not be coming back again.

Damien C.

Yelp
The place is good looking BUT : - most of the dishes of menu are not available, the restaurant was half empty and we arrived early so I don't understand why most of the menu is not available. - the plate was fat (cheese topped with oil, what's the point ? Cheese itself is fat enough) - the waiter take my plate away but I had almost finished (again the restaurant was not full, so no rush) Not to mention that we are still waiting for our bottle of water. To conclude, very disappointed. I gave a tip, only because it's the rule in Canada.
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
We arrived around 12:30am and there was a huge line that went to the end of the corner. We made friends in line that said there isn't usually a line at that time but it was Huge and we didnt get in until after 2am. We were almost to the front of the line and a group of girls tried to cut us. We didn't let them but they were very rude. Once inside you have to check your coat if you aren't going to wear it. They had different dance floors with different music, which was nice. When you check your coat and pick it up its a huge cluster fuck of stinky sweating people. If you're looking for a fun casual place to dance and drink then this is the place. Just be prepared to wait in line.

Yelp
Was visiting Montreal for a few days and after dinner at the Saloon, my local friend suggested stopping here. As soon as we walk in we are directed upstairs to coat check and pay $1.50 for each item we check. (pretty cheap, eh?). The two top floors are empty, but they were bumping hip hop in one room and Top 40 in the other. We head back dowstairs where we saw the most hubb-ubb and to our delight they are playing Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton and Cumbia - IN MONTREAL? It was awesome! The dancefloor was a decent size with two large bars on either side. It was a busy night but not overly crowded or obnoxious. No pretense here, just a fun "Boys Town" hangout, and being from LA, this is super refreshing! I could see large pitchers of neon colored drinks all over the place, but we were having such a blast sans-cocktails that we didn't partake. Bottom Line: Good Music. No Cover. Cheap Coat Check. Fun time!
google avatar

Patrick R.

Yelp
I went last night with my good friend for a drink there. We were mortified to see that the price of their 2 for 1 special was 12$ for 2 glasses of Molson. I don't mind paying that kind of money on beer but is has to be better than that. I really doubt that I will ever come back to SKy considering how expensive cheap products are there.
google avatar

Ape L.

Yelp
Nice rooftop patio, HUGE pitchers and lots of people watching spots. Server told we HAD to tip her 20% because they get taxed. Cheap drinks when dancing. Went back for lunch the next day downstairs.. Menu could be improved and ATTN: MANAGEMENT- get more servers on backup. Poor server was working the ENTIRE floor and had people yelling at him even though there was supposed to be more on that night but for whatever reason they didn't show (he told us). Would go back to dance but that's it.

Yelp
Uh, WTF is up with the terrible music in this place after 9pm? Wack. Glad that there are lots of 'mos having a good time in this megacomplex... it seems aight... but really. It's 2009. Get a better DJ.
google avatar

Raquel Kristin O.

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting for the weekend and went here for a Saturday night. Cheap drinks (grey goose mixed drinks under 6 dollars), no cover, no dress code, spacious dance floors...what else could you want??? There's three levels of dance floors- the first was salsa, second was top 40 house remixes, and the third had two rooms which were mostly empty. The rooftop was filled with mostly smokers and no music. Music on the second floor was fantastic. We would definitely come here again!!!!

Dana W.

Yelp
This was THE WORST club I've ever been to in my ENTIRE life. I walked in bought one $1 shot and the VERY first thing a bartender did was demand for tip. The security guards were extremely rude and herding is around like cattle all night. The nicest employees were at coat check. The club was not even fun to make up for the rude staff members. It was -20 degrees outside and they wouldn't let us wait inside for our Uber. Keep in mind, it was my friend's birthday so this was a big disappointment to all. Do not suggest you ever go here.

Yelp
Overall slow service, small portions for the price. I got my burger when everybody had finished eating. The burger was overcooked and had pieces hard as rock... Not really tasty either. At least the fries and Shock Top were good.

Yelp
Very bad service, portions were crazy small, too expensive and food wasn't even good. Should've been to McDonald's instead - better money for the buck!

Yelp
Great for straight and gay people. Great rooftop for smokers.

Yelp
We had a great time at this bar! Three floors were open while we were there, 1st floor was Latin night, second was top 40, and third was house music. The roof top patio and smoking area with a pool was closed because of the weather. The atmosphere was awesome, the place was busy but not crammed so there was room to dance and mingle. AMAZING whisky sours by the way. Would recommend this bar if you wanna get out and dance or lounge and listen to music. Every floor had an area with chairs or couches to sit and chat on. I liked that that option was there as well!

Yelp
Cheap drinks, great music, spacious, and friendly crowd. Multiple levels with all different types of music. No music on the rooftop terrace, but all the smokers hang out there. Best part of all - no cover!

Yelp
On a three night stay in the Le Village du Montreal, we found the Sky Bar. I understand the bar is very busy on the weekends, but for Monday and Tuesday nights, the crowd was thin. However, it was the week after Labor Day and everything was very quiet. There was no cover charge on Monday or Tuesday and only the front ground floor bar was open. The Happy Hour bartender was very good and worked the entire bar alone... serving the 2 for 1 beers. The evening bartender (Chris) was a blast. Even with the few people who remained late to drink, he kept us entertained and we really enjoyed his company. He is the main reason we returned Tuesday night. The bar itself was clean and the staff was friendly. The cocktail drinks were weak (drink beer), then I notice why....the bar uses the magnetic pouring device that measures each drink exact. I am used to being served by a free pouring bartender that knows their customer and makes the drinks accordingly. To the Sky Bar's defense, every bar we visited on Rue St. Catherine used the measuring devices and drinks went down quickly making for an expensive night out. We enjoyed the bar, spent alot of money and have no regrets. We will be looking for Chris at the Sky on our next visit.

Yelp
Drinks are $2.50 on Friday nights?!? Fun bar -- actually, bars. Drag show downstairs, dance music in one upstairs bar, hip hop in the other. Diverse crowd all having a good time.

Yelp
Best gay club in the city and one of the best clubs in Montreal! Always a fun time, cheap drinks and 4 dance floors.
