First Korean Cafe M

Korean café with a wide variety of drinks. • When we visited it was quiet, with soft K-Pop playing in the background. • We ordered two iced Americanos: very large, refreshing, though the coffee itself wasn’t the best (seemed like Tesco beans). • A nice spot to chill, but the service felt a little disorganized..they didn’t have the toilet key when I asked. ✨ Good for a casual pause, less for the coffee experience.

What an incredible coffee shop! Located perfectly next to Chinatown is this quant and delicious authentic Korean cafe. The atmosphere was calming and the service quite impeccable. Our cashier Libby went out of her way offering WiFi and a charger (my phone was about to die). The cheese bread is to die for! Tasting straight from Korea. If you want a chill spot to sit down and immerse yourself in culture…. This is the place for you!!

Ordered the chocolate bingsu and it was perfect for the recent hot weather. My friend ordered the vanilla bingsu and we were a little surprised to see cashews sprinkled on top. I would be careful if you have any allergies. I hope the restaurant put basic allergens on their menu. I would visit again for the grilled toast

Ordered an iced dolce latte and it is pretty sweet. I usually don't order sugared coffee so it is pretty refreshing. However, the star of the show is definitely the tiramisu bingsoo. Its portion is big and it tasted amazing. I would love to come back for seconds. The Kpop music playing in the store also radiated a really nice atmosphere. Can't believe its located right next to the national gallery. The only concern would be cell service is semi weak in where I'm sat

Excessive wait times for drinks due to there being only one staff member, though, typically for single person cafe's the speed is many times faster than this both in other establishments I've been to in London and other countries and even back in Korea where a lot of smaller cafes are single staffed . Most tables were unclean so me and my partner had to sit on side stools that were too small for the window ledge table they were placed next to, this meant when sitting, the ledge was almost at my shoulders whilst sitting on the stools next to it and for clarity I'm 6ft4 so something is clearly wrong here. I explicitly ordered a non-dairy milk drink due to allergies, waited 30 minutes for my drink only to be told that it was made with dairy, I had no choice but to take it and give it to my partner rather than wait an hour for coffee which in the end both tasted lackluster. This place is an embarrassment, far from authentic.

Had a Blue Lemonade and a Bulgogi Toast. The toast for some reason had some weird smell but it was eatable. Young lady at counter was friendly and helpful. Also it would be helpful if they had a sign outside the store. Unless you look at the window you wouldn’t tell it’s a coffee shop.

Stopped for a very quick bite to eat and was rewarded with a tasty brioche sandwich. Exactly along the lines of what I was hoping for. Thank you!

What a find! I’ve been wanting an Egg Drop sandwich for ages since seeing them on the drama Hospital Playlist. It was such a lovely experience, staff were so nice and smiley and all in all wonderful. Thanks so much for the recommendation @rollinjoint1
