The Best Restaurants for Fish and Seafood in Montreal - Eater Montreal
"Despite the city’s love for all things beige and fried, good fish and chips aren’t that easy to find in Montreal. However, this beloved Mile End restaurant — now expanded, with locations in Verdun and the Plateau — has you covered. There’s a fish and chips trio option, where golden battered cod comes with sides of fries and salad." - Dahlia Snaiderman, Ashley Joseph
Excellent fish and chips. I love their Paprika sauce and their side salad is good too. Would love to dine again if I'm in that area. Staffs are friendly.

We were looking for a restaurant in Mile End, plenty of choices there. But then we have seen this chippy and we were craving for some. We had 1 fish and chips and also 1 poutine with sausage. I totally recommend the fish and chips the sauces are incredible.

I come here from time to time on work break, I'm a big fan of fish and chips. The atmosphere is nice, even though the place is compact it doesn't feel that way. Although the fish choice is limited, the quality of the the food is delicious with a variety choice of sauces to go with it and you can replace your fries for a delicious poutine. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Been to the one on Wellington street in verdun, first time I eaten in the mile end district. Great fish, fried to perfection and not super greesy. Fries are super crispy and ambiance is great.

Cozy environment, friendly staff and fresh fish with assorted sauces. If you are not crazy about fried fish, definitely try the comptoir 21 salad that comes with sautéed cod fish. The clam cream soup was amazing.

Love this place, one of the best Fish 'n' Chips restaurants in Montreal, they have different types of dressings and fish, besides they offer a delicious clam chowder that goes great specially when it's cold, also different types of local beer, Boreal IPA which is quite decent, portions are generous and good service.
