The 27 Best Breweries in Denver | Eater Denver

"At nine years old, the 2019 GABF Small Brewing Company of the Year has numerous other festival awards to its credit, most notably for Superpower — one of many IPAs it offers at any given time, from Powder Session to the 2022 gold medalist More Dodge Less Ram. Other seasonal favorites include the jalapeño-infused blonde ale Yellow Fever, Koffee Kream milk stout, and imperial stout Quit Stalin." - Eater Staff

Google
Really great beer, and they had Pizza the day I went. Looks like a permanent thing but not sure. I didn't try the Pizza cause I was not hungry for that today. However the beer was excellent. The atmosphere is very chill, they have games people are just playing, feels like a very local brewery frequented by local people. I'm definitely coming back here, the staff was very nice, bathrooms very clean, very chilled vibe as I said. I kinda wish I lived closer.

Google
what a great neighborhood gathering spot! Very spacious, lots of seating Obviously a great selection of beers! My favorite: the stouts! As I said during my visit "10% ABV? Fuck yeah!" Friendly staff (who appreciated my comment - ha!). They also offer pizza which I can't wait to try because I'm a huge fan of thin crust pizza and the pic looks like it's wafer thin - yay (stay tuned for an updated review) Tons of parking!

Google
One of the best, most relaxed environments I have experienced in a brewery and a long time. Come here to chill out and drink some great beer.

I stopped by tonight for a beer with a friend of mine, and we had a really good experience! The girl behind the bar was wonderful. I don’t typically care for beer, but we talked for a minute and she recommended a grapefruit super power, and it was great! I’ll absolutely be back and recommend this brewery to anyone.

Easily one of the best, if not the best, breweries around. The staff is incredible, as is the beer. Andrea is always a blast and offers great insights into new beers. Have been coming here regularly for many years and hope for many more to come. Don't sleep on this hidden gem. Always a good vibe.

Comrade Brewing Company is a fun place to get great beer. I’ve visited multiple times and it’s always been a wonderful experience.

We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon. The man at the taps was very friendly and talkative. The venue is rather spartan; apparently a converted repair garage located in the middle of a small cluster of local businesses. It has the tap bar, a number of wooden tables and metal chairs as well as higher standing tables. There were a few other customers. It was apparent that they have loyal regulars. They don't offer food, but there were menus from a couple local places that I assume deliver. We sampled several brews: Redcon Red Ale, Darkmode American Stout, Supplication, a brown ale aged in pinot noir wine barrels and their hefeweizen offering. All were surprisingly excellent. Not being a fan of IPAs We didn't try them, but I'd expect that they will compare well with any others. We will definitely go back given the opportunity.

Google
I love going out local breweries and this place did not disappoint. They have a lot of space and different types of seating (high or low tables, bar seating and some seats on patio outside. They’re also kid & dog-friendly, though dogs must stay on outdoor patio. The beer-tenders are super friendly and helped me find the beers I like there and are awesome to talk to. I have come here a handful of times since moving to Denver from Florida and I’m comfortable reading a book on my own, sitting at the bar and chatting with the beer-tenders or regulars (who are super friendly to newcomers), or watching a game on TV. It’s a Welcoming atmosphere and has a good selection of different beer styles (e.g., hazy and west coast IPA’s, blondes and wheat ales, jalapeño blonde ale, red ale, barrel aged stout, Sour, & limited editions). Plus several of their beers are gluten reduced and one of the beer-tenders who has celiacs says she and others with gluten intolerant folks are fine drinking them. It’s definitely become my new home brewery after living here just 5 weeks! They also have a bookshelf of board and card games you can play if you want to make it a game night!

Yelp
this is quickly because my husband's new favorite brewery. Their IPA is pretty good and the red ale was just what I needed on St. Patrick's Day. The staff are incredibly friendly even when they're busy. They don't have a ton of food, just Rocky Mountain Pizza, which is pretty average.

Yelp
This is a spacious brewery with plenty of parking. We recently held a potluck gathering here and there were plenty of tables and seats and space for us to set the food up and enjoy our drinks but also interact away from other patrons. If you want a space to gather, Comrade brewing is a great place to host. They do not have a kitchen and due to the landlords, food trucks are not allowed on site. However, you can bring food to enjoy with your drinks. All the vessels at the brewery are made in the US. There are lots of in house options to choose from. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great space to entertain and interact with friends. Take a moment to look at all the decor on the walls as well.

Yelp
Heavy on the IPAs, but super super friendly staff, and the sours are to die for. Nice atmosphere lots of seating.

Yelp
I was in the area and decided to stop for a beer. It was a warm day. The garage doors were open and the beer was cold! I had there award winning IPA and it was so good. I was surprised and shocked to find a beer in this area that I crave for now! The service was amazing and they are very friendly. The amount of beers brewed was pretty big. I noticed a lot of German style beers. Seating was open and clean. Very nice place. Overall, if you're in the area grab a beer! Totally worth it. I have been to many breweries and this one is on my top 5!

Yelp
Fantastic hoppy beers and a fun pizza special! Bartenders are patient and very knowledgeable. Located in a strip mall but sometimes that makes it a little less busy. Their patio is very small, and unshaded which is definitely a downside but they do have plenty of seating inside on hot days. Definitely will be back to try more.

Yelp
Fantastic establishment! I've been here several times and every time is always better than the last! This place shares a parking lot with other businesses so plenty of parking. You can bring in outside food so that was nice and convenient. The staff there is great and kind! Very friendly! Definity a fun environment!
google avatar

Camille H.

Yelp
I've been here twice and liked the relaxed chill vibe. The staff were nice and attentive both times. The establishment is always super clean inside and out. I'm not a huge beer drinker. Holy crap I live in CO and don't like IPAs?! What a travesty I know. This place has lots of IPAs but I did try one that was not, I believe it was a blonde and liked it pretty well. I do like some sours and I think I tried that the second time and it was very tasty! I am also a big fan of wheat beers and I see other website it'll be ready for pouring soon! Crossing my fingers that they'll have a cider too one day! Last I knew they didn't serve food but I do see food trucks there on occasion and you can bring in food as well. They have lots of parking available too. We were told they had a trivia night there too which I've been meaning to go to since we live close by!

Yelp
Met here for book club. Solid beers as always. Superpower is always a go to! I sipped my Superpower while we discussed our latest book. Fun times with good people.

Yelp
First, good grief, I saw a review 'somewhere else' that mentions 'not sure about the Communist thing' - ?? How old are you, 90? It's a play on USSR sure and I think it's clever and fun. And it also per the staff it is about COMRADERY, comrade!! Get a sense of humor or maybe, just drink more beer and chill out. OK well I hadn't been to Comrade (damn Ruski's!!) in a couple years and it was such great beer (SuperPower IPA) and friendly and fun place, I loved it. We had a small company event there, brought in pizza etc and it was a big hit with everyone. It's in a kind of strip mall so there is parking, a few tables out front too, no dogs inside but I assume they're ok on the patio. You can catch any business on a bad day and/or just get a not so great server - these days that's not unusual, good staff have become a real challenge to find and keep. Cut a little slack eh? Go and enjoy.

Yelp
As for the pros, the beer was tasty, and I wish I was able to sample more, which brings me to the cons. My wife and sat at the bar, and it took a minute for the bartender to spot us. Normally not a problem but we were one of two parties at the bar on a slow Friday night. I had a question about one of the beers, and the guy seemed to know his stuff. But that was the extent of his service. He seemed very into his conversation with the next group over, and he didn't seem too concerned about us. He did find the time to pour himself a snifter of light beer, which he drank below the security camera. When he came to rinse the glass I attempted to order another drink, but he walked away from me mid sentence to continue his conversation with the other guest. The other guest had two employees in the conversation while I was looking for a drink. It was an overall frustrating experience. I gave 2 stars just because the beer was excellent, and I really wanted to try more. I only hoped for the most baseline of service. Staring at an empty glass for 20 minutes while the bartender was 3 feet away was just a miss.

Yelp
Good beers and super friendly staff! Brought the two babies and the staff was super sweet to get to know us. We will definitely be back

Yelp
This brewery came highly recommended, it surely didn't disappoint. The bartender was very nice and welcoming. I ordered the flight of four beers. Each beer was a hit, my favorite was the Yellow Fever. It's probably the best pepper beer I've ever had. That jalapeño flavor lasted long after I left the brewery. Just magnificent. I love the theme and decor, very interesting. This is one of the stars of the Denver craft beer scene.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love this place!! Their new beers, Spring Fling and Lost Shaker are awesome! Kai and Corrie are AMAZING!! Bring food because food trucks are not allowed on the property.

Yelp
Given the glut of breweries in the Denver area, it's a rare thing to find a brewery where they are actually hitting the nominal style of beer (according to the Brewers Association Beer Style Guidelines) they claim to be serving. Comrade is one such place. They've won multiple GABF awards and there's never been any off flavors in any of the brews I've had, and I've had quite a few over the years. I have been going here probably half a dozen times a year since they opened and have always had a pleasant to great experience. The beer-tenders are usally outgoing and friendly, the sitting area is quite spacious, and they have good hvac for the increasingly scorching summer days. (If it's a temperate spring or fall day, they will open the big garage door in the front of the space.) Empty glasses are quickly collected, and tables are wiped down to spotless. Bathrooms are very clean as well. One slight ding on the space is it can get a bit loud and echoey when totally packed. Dogs are no longer allowed inside the facility, but they usually set up a few tables outside under a shade tent. Kids are allowed, which I've never had a problem with. They used to have food trucks, but at date of writing (7/25/2022) they are in a dispute with the landlord. They welcome you to bring food (homemade or restaurant) as you wish, or you can get delivery to there as well.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Went here on 10/29/22. Met some friends there cause it was to their place. You can bring food in cause they don't have food trucks because of the parking lot owners. Good amount of tables. Smaller patio. Bartenders were friendly. Looks like they have a few guest taps. Which is good because at the time I went they had 9 IPAs on tap. So if you don't like IPAs you'll have to get a guest tap which all the people in my party did. They got the sour from Little Machine. Still don't understand the hype of this brewery. So many better breweries in denver and better IPAs.

Janice K.

Yelp
Fun place with good beer. Dog friendly. Supportive of local nonprofits. They do have a little food now too.
google avatar

Nick A.

Yelp
Not a bad place to have a beer, and lots of people must agree because it was packed on a weeknight. Still, it didn't take long to find a place to sit, and even though it's packed, we didn't have to yell to be heard. Many choices of beer here and the prices are reasonable. I'm not going to go on and on, it's an OK place to have a beer and it shouldn't be difficult to find one to suit your taste buds. Dogs are allowed inside and there were lots of them. Some of them barking up a storm. Too bad some dog owners are clueless that not everyone loves the sound of loudly barking dogs. Also, kids are allowed, which I don't think is a good idea. I saw a little kid carrying empty beer glasses. Good that he's learning a good work ethic, but I'm not sure it's the right environment for it. The staff is great and they were all really cool. They don't serve food, but there's a place right outside the door that serves food you can bring inside to enjoy with your craft brew.
google avatar

Sydney B.

Yelp
Really enjoyed coming to this lil brewery. I really enjoyed their blonde. Not a big IPA gal so I didn't try theirs but it had glowing reviews from friends. They allow you to bring in food from other places which is really nice. Would definitely come here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh Comrades. Let me count the ways in which I'm so happy you're in my neighborhood. *super friendly and knowledgeable staff *wide variety of beers to choose from *dog friendly --even indoors! *tons of board games to play *food trucks on site *huge space, lots of seating options In addition to all those highlights, I enjoy that Comrades offers crowlers and really enjoy taking advantage of this. My favorite beer is their superpower IPA but I also recommend trying out their wet hop beers. Just a friendly note that they are usually packed on their trivia nights. I've accidentally found myself here on Tuesday nights and had to wrangle my way to a few seats at a community table. No big deal but if you want to avoid it, you were warned. In summary, Comrades is an awesome brewery nestled in SE Denver! Not sure why others have reviewed them so low but definitely agree their vibe is pretty unique. I happen to enjoy the friendly service and beers and have found myself here for happy hour meet ups and weekend outings. The food truck option is always great as well. These folks know how to do beer right and they do it well!
google avatar

Min-Ru G.

Yelp
I came here for my first time for a meetup event. I asked for recommendations from the pourer and he suggested the superpower IPA. Unfortunately, my taste palate still doesn't like the flavor of IPAs. I taste-tested one of their sours and it was ok. I really liked the Oktoberfest Marzen and Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, so I ordered an 8 oz pour each of these two beers. That was more than enough for me and I enjoyed the delicious flavor of these two beers throughout the whole event. I would definitely come back to this brewery to try out their other beers.

Victoria B.

Yelp
Trivia was really fun and Corrie the bartender was really cool. Great place to make friends and be social
google avatar

Matt R.

Yelp
Some of the best beers around, and their wall of awards proves it! Comrade is an amazing brewery in southeast Denver on the border of Aurora. They have numerous Beer Awards for all of their delicious beers they make. My all time favorite is the Superpower IPA which might be the best IPA in Denver. They also make a great chili beer called Yellow Fever which is a Jalapeno Blonde Ale if you want a little heat for all this cold weather we're having. I haven't found a beer I don't like here and I doubt I ever will. Cheers!
google avatar

Alden C.

Yelp
I really enjoy the concept and theme with this brewery. In fact so much I had to purchase two of their t shirts. The beer... well it's ok. Perhaps the flavor features or recipes aren't quite to my liking because I didn't feel like the beer was the most memorable in my mind. With Comrade I had their Superpower IPA and their Redcon, a red ale. While neither beer was bad it just didn't "wow" me which was unfortunate. I see they have a blonde ale and a more spicy beer with jalapeños but those weren't available at the time. At any rate it is what it is.
google avatar

Mark A.

Yelp
Come for the Superpower. Drink the Superpower. Feel the Superpower. You now have Superpowers. It IS the best IPA in America, again. Just don't expect food, ambiance, outdoor seating, or a place for your dog. Still a must visit on a Denver beer tour, but, man, could they use a second, larger tap room location.
google avatar

Mateo E.

Yelp
Ever been let down unexpectedly by an old friend? It stings. That's exactly how I feel after my visit to Comrade last night. We've been friends since 2015 and I've attended each anniversary party. Every year, I salivate in anticipation of their Superdamp fresh hop IPA and get my butt over to Comrade within days of its first annual pour. It's the best of its kind. Last night, they advertised a release party of another great brew, Hype Machine, as well. I arrived at 8:15 and left empty-handed minutes later. What? In brief: While the front door and their website say they close at 9pm and groups of people were drinking, I was told "We're getting ready to close," denied a pour of Superdamp, but offered it to go. Since a crowler costs about the same as a small steak at Shanahan's and 32oz was more than necessary, I declined and left, feeling unwelcome and disappointed. After this experience, I won't be having a 2021 Superdamp. The taste left behind tonight won't wash away easily. I think most people will have a great time here. They make solid IPAs with "Super" or "Dodge" in the name. I recommend calling ahead to see if they plan to stay open for their advertised hours.
google avatar

Wes M.

Yelp
LOL with beers this good the staff can smell however TF they want. Home skillet was probably just smelling those dank dank hops.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
It's a nice brewery with a laid back atmosphere. I'm not a drinker. Only 4 starts because there's little for the nonalcoholic menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing experience and beer, I absolutely loved the friendly staff, thank you! I will definitely be back
google avatar

Yelp
Tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. I was really impressed with their beer, and the environment was good. When we arrived, we were some of the only people, then it filled up fast with families. (Obviously, it's family-friendly and popular with parents!) The staff handed my kids a couple board games, which kept my kids happy and occupied. Will be returning!
google avatar

Nate B.

Yelp
The beers they do brew are on point, no doubt. HOWEVER. I went here this past month and was highly disappointed with the customer service and overall "vibe." I'll explain. I had no idea there are brewers out there that are whole-heartedly against specific types of beer, but I'm not an expert or a purveyor, just a guy wanting a cold beer. So, I guess you would say I "mistakenly" asked: "Do you have any hazy IPAs on tap?" Reasonable question...I thought. Until I was met with two large signs from behind the counter and pointed to the hats they have which resemble MAGA but read something like "make IPAs clear again" or something to that regard. Then one of the guys said we don't really do the "haze craze" here. I mean come on. You don't want to brew a specific beer...fine with me. But to shame for merely asking, not cool man. I won't go back, TOO many options out there. Make beer makers mellow again.

Yelp
I'm really digging the vibe at Comrade Brewing Company! I stopped in at the recommendation of a couple friends and I have to say I am super impressed! STAFF/SERVICE: As I approached the taps and began to browse the offerings on of the beertenders struck up a conversation with me and offered to both assist me with any questions I had or sample any of the brews they were offering. As my glass neared empty one of the beertenders asked if I was wanting another cold one. While I politely declined, I appreciate that they approached me; even though I wasn't seated at the bar. BREWS: I opted to sip on the Koffee Kream stout. It was so tasty! The perfect mix of coffee notes while still being a little sweet. Totally my kind of coffee stout. There were many other types of brews on tap during my visit including Yellow Card (blonde ale), REDCON (red ale), Superpower (IPA) which are all part of their year round menu. They have a TON of rotating and seasonal taps too! SPACE/LOCATION: The space is HUGE! Featuring many different types of seating to suit any sized group. This would be a great place to bring a larger group of friends. Love the large Russian-esque hops mural on the wall of seating area as well. Not to mention it is dog friendly too. So bring your furry friends! Comrade Brewing Company is located in a strip mall off Iliff and Trenton/Rosemary, surrounded by auto shops. Perk of being tucked away in a shopping center: there's ample parking as a result. Always a perk as many breweries in the Denver metro area are lacking convenient parking. I know I'll be back Comrade Brewing Company to try some more brews and perhaps even pickup a sweet insulated growler! **Pro Tip: They offer a selection of merchandise (including insulated growlers, bottle openers, and mechanic style shirts) for sale to the left of the main bar area!

Cameron D.

Yelp
If you like IPAs, this might be the best brewery in the country. Yes, in the USA. If you doubt this, go to the brewery and try Superpower, Honeyman and whatever else they are pouring for yourself.
google avatar

Peter G.

Yelp
Tons of seating, both small and large tables, and good beer. Their award winning Superpower IPA was great and we also enjoyed their seasonal Quit Stalin imperial stout, the Hive Mind honey beer, and the Cashmere Sweater autumn ale.
google avatar

Melissa H.

Yelp
Good beer selection, friendly service, great seating options inside and out. They have a very good COVID program going as well.
google avatar

Chelsey F.

Yelp
When deciding where to meet up with Katie F. and her hubs, we decided to check out this brewery due to it's central location for both of us. The space is open and huge! There are plenty of tables and bar stools in the tap room. It seems it would definitely be a good place to host an event. It's decorated uniquely with Russian murals on the wall and the vibe is a cool industrial style. We all opted to share a flight before deciding on a pint. I really enjoyed the Honeyman and Blackberry Saison - although I opted to try a pint of the Irish Red Ale and loved it! While it looked like they had a food truck outside, we were was less appitized by the menu options and decided to just stick with our beer. Tip: They are dog friendly, so you can bring your furry friend! Overall - it's a chill vibe and the beers were on point. I may not go out of my way to come here, but we did have a good afternoon trying their brews.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
Comrade is solid as always! Superpower IPA, Koffee Kream Stout and Hops and Pie 10th anniversary are stellar. Comrade is one if not the best in Denver and here out West due to their consistent quality control and refusal to delude the market with cans. Helps when the owners are on site and not just caring about the beer but also their customers overall experience. Stay gold and yes making IPAs not hazy again.
google avatar

Danielle W.

Yelp
Meh. It's nice for those who love IPAs. The staff were mediocre. They seemed pretty bored honestly. They had 12 beers on tap and 8 were IPAs. The rest were pale ales. If you like spacey outdoor areas and dark beers this isn't the brewery for you.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Wednesday's (3pm-8pm) are the BEST reason to go to Comrade right now! Good beer, great fun & awesome food Truck. X'tabai Yucateco
google avatar

Dana D.

Yelp
We moved to the area six months ago and I wish we knew about this place sooner! The staff is very friendly and eager to help you out. They are very knowledgeable about their beers and let us sample a few before we decided on a glass. They also take the time to check on you once you've sat down, which I thought was really nice. The brewery has board and card games for entertainment and a food truck outside if you get hungry. Another plus is that they allow dogs. We will definitely be back to try trivia that they host on Wednesday's!
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
I have been to Comrade a couple times now. I really like stopping in there for a pint, and sampling some of their limited brews and of course their Superpower IPA. For a limited time they have a fresh hopped version of the Superpower called "Superdank IPA". It is really really good. They have beer for everyone here. If you don't know what you want or cant commit to a pint, go for a couple samples. The space is nice and open. There is one TV usually playing local sports or ESPN. They have a rack of games by the door so you can pick a game and play while you enjoy some pints. They don't serve food but have a food truck rotation which they publish weekly on their Facebook page. They are very dog friendly as long as your dog is friendly, there are usually a couple dogs in there hanging out while their owners enjoy some brews. ProTip: Follow their social media so you can get notified about their limited releases, they are worth it!
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
Their beer is great; their financial support of right-wing anti-mask, anti-bikelanes, anti-public transit Glendale Cherry Creek Chronicle, regrettable.
google avatar

Dale Z.

Yelp
"Sometimes - history needs a push." --Vladimir Lenin I have been here a couple times now. I particularly enjoyed the place on my most recent visit (then again, beer always seems to taste better when you drag Doug Y. along for the ride). The beer here is quite good. And that is the reason most of us will keep coming back to a particularly brewery. The core offerings of Comrade (year-round) include a solid blonde ale (the No Tone "Yellow Card"), the malty red (the DEFCON Red), a wonderfully rich stout (the Koffee Kream Stout--which uses Kaladi beans!), and the obligatory IPA (Superpower IPA) which does not please my palate, but others tell me is mighty tasty. These four strong and varied offerings would be enough to make Comrade a respectable brewery. But, wait, there is more! The variety of "Seasonals, One-Offs, Rotators, and Collaborations" Comrade offers is quite impressive. Three of my personal favorites currently on tap include the Moneypenny (English Summer Ale), a nice crisp German Hefeweizen, and the oh so spicy and flavorful Jalapeño Blonde, AKA "Yellow Fever". The taproom is of a good size. The staff are friendly. The parking is ample. And, if you are not put off by the sheer amount of auto-servicing related businesses surrounding the brew oasis that is Comrade, the location is fine.

Yelp
I dig Comrade! It's been on my radar for awhile so I'm stoked I got to try it out courtesy of the Dumb Friends League holding an informational session there about one of their walks. Very minimalistic vibe here and love that you can bring your pup inside! They have a rotating list of food trucks parked outside so you can enjoy your grub with a cold one and I saw some people bring their own food in, so it's the best of both worlds! It was an interesting crowd--I felt like I was on the plane in the movie Airplane! There were motorcycle guys, priests and elderly people enjoying craft beers next to young professionals, kids and dogs, tres interesting. I tried the Superpower IPA which was delightful and Lemondrop Wheat, equally as delicious. I will definitely be back to try out more beers and hang with the dogs! They only thing that would make it better was if they had a patio space and a little chattier staff. The girl helping us really didn't give us any information or give off a vibe of wanting to let us know about the beer.

Yelp
Big, spacious, clean (so far), large garage doors that opens to let the fresh air in and at the same time giving the open patio look amd feel. Got the word from dear yelp friend of "grand opening" and made out to out of the way (only on weekends) this fine weathered Sat. 3 garage doors were open, guys sitting on window seats enjoying the brew amd looking out at passing cars, i had to hurry in and check out the place my self. Friendly employees pouring elixir from god and i was ready to taste their offerings. I'm not the sophisticated beer snob so almost anything and everything goes except coors lite or anything resembling that. My $5 of 1st four were great. Don't want to mention the names but Yellow Card Blonde Ale was surprisingly good with perfect nose and color with lower ABV which will be great to have on hot summer day. p.s. Chicago dog from Sonics nearby is great complement to IPA. They will deliver. ..on blades Defcon Red, Koffee Kream Stout was pretty good but being IPA die hard fan, Superpower IPA at 7.9% ABV was the winner. Strong hoppy flavor to taste and to nose but not as bitter compare to other IPAs, it was my choice of beer at this joint. Saturday afternoon, place is half packed with more people strolling in as I write this review. Great way to socialize and enjoy the beer. Munches from Wiki Pita food truck parked at the front. Good luck guys, hope to make this joint my favorite.

Yelp
I moved just down the way from this place. I'm not the biggest fan of IPAs, but they have a few other options that are really tasty (I'm a fan of the Eisenhower and Yellowcard) The staff has always been super cool and welcoming. I'm a fan - I'll keep coming back to fill my growler and hanging out with folks when that's a thing again.

Yelp
This neighborhood spot is my go-to when meeting up with friends around the area, they have plenty of seating and games if you desire. They always have food trucks outside, different ones it seems every week! I have not tried any yet-but will one day. The atmosphere is what I come for, it's a reliable place to grab a pint with friends without being tight as a club or loud as a sports bar. I enjoy their beer and have always had good experiences with the beer-tenders. The bonus is that they allow dogs inside on leash, great for the wintertime.
