Con Vista al Mar Roma

This place can’t be rated anything less than 5 stars. I am now in Baja Mexico and Con Vista al Mar Roma is STILL top of the list of best seafood in my life. I loved everything about this place - from the cocktail de mariscos to the lovely atmosphere and service.

Con Vista al Mar has genuinely very good food — flavorful, fresh, and well prepared. Unfortunately, the service experience did not match the quality of the food. Our order was extremely slow, mistakes were made, and there was no acknowledgment or effort to correct them. The most upsetting part was that a 9-year-old ended up without lunch because of these errors, which is unacceptable. I understand restaurants get busy and mistakes happen. What matters is recognizing them and making things right. I hope management takes situations like this seriously, because the food truly deserves better service.

Had an incredible meal! It’s so rare to get warm, friendly service in CDMX - Rafael was attentive and super warm and made my experience here different from most places I had eaten. The seafood is super fresh: go for the Pacifico Tostada 🤝🏼 and the guacamole with squid was also great. Can’t wait to go back! Also they gave me a free beer so 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Wonderful experience here! A member of the staff recommended an amazing ceviche to go with our tacos. We also had a variety of tacos which were incredible (super fresh fish, great flavors, etc), and the folks working here were super attentive and kind.

Awesome food. Fish was really fresh and is the highlight of the tostadas. Outside seating is great but also sought after. We settled inside which has it's pros and cons. The biggest downside is the heat from the kitchen for me.

A nice place, good food, not a fan of getting my aguachile served on those plastic bags, doesnt look appealing, but the food is good and the service was really nice.

The burrito Vallarta has smoked fish, octopus and shrimp, and hits the spot. We had the mojito and mezcalita and both were well balanced, excellent cocktails 🤙🏼 gracias amigos

Terrible. Place was empty with only 1 more table occupied besides me, I ordered 1 tuna tostada and 1 fish taco with esquites as an entree. Took them 1 hour to serve that food. I would have not minded at all if the food was good but to my misfortune it was tasteless. Tuna tostada was even worse than sushi. The fish taco was soooo average that I could have done it myself better. But what really upset me was the Esquite which is sold as gourmet with a measly price of 230 MXN and it looked like they just poured one of those corn cans into it with 3 little pieces of octupus. I felt robbed. Paid 600 MXN for that food and 2 beers. Ridiculous.
