Conch Island Key West Bar and Grill

Excellent food! Excellent service! Nice atmosphere went on a night w live music lots of fun! Food was awesome!!! Service was 10/10

While visiting family, I had the opportunity to visit this establishment for happy hour. Judging by the outside (strip mall appearance), I definitely was not expecting such a well decorated place, not to mention great food and drinks. The space is big and spread out, it is SUPER clean and beautiful on the inside. The happy hour menu was not only great and quality but it was dirt cheap, something I’m definitely not used to. $7 crushes and $10 meals. I had the 3 daughters burger which was cooked nothing short of perfect the way I asked for it. Was delicious. Others had the Buffalo Chicken Flat Bread, clams and sliders which they enjoyed. Our waiters were fantastic, fast, polite and personable. Played some great tunes and they have a very nice stage for live music. Also have neon signs lining the walls with famous lyrics. Do yourself a favor and stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

Great live music venue! Vanylla Godzylla had a performance here and they put on a phenomenal show, they drew a very fun crowd. I also had a delicious orange crush drink here, very good and I will definitely be back when the band plays again!

We stopped in after a long day of outlet shopping on our annual girls trip, on a Sunday evening. We were greeted by Mike, who had a long list of happy hour deals for us. We had a party of 8 but the service was so fast, it was like we were a party of 2! Mike let us know that there was live band karaoke that we should 100% stay for. This was an incredibly talented band, playing any song you could think of, with ease! The crowd was definitely a lot of regular locals, but the talent that came in was AMAZING! The food was top notch. I had a shrimp pasta dish, for $15!! So many Happy Hours deals (and happy hour didn't end until 7!) The Nacho appetizer was H U G E! Mike warned us it was definitely to share, but this thing was a mountain of deliciousness! Long story short, if you're looking for a great bar/restaurant with the best food around, at a great price point, awesome entertainment, this is it!

We tried this place because some friends were going and asked us to join them. I had passed the place many times and never thought of going there, but I was pleased to find a great bar with excellent food and service. The entertainment was top notch and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back!

The owner Mike was very nice, had there clams chardonnay for an appetizer, and NEVER saw a clam so small in a not flavorful white broth. The music was Very loud for 4pm in the afternoon. Was very disappointed.

Not a bad crowd for the Tuesday after Labor Day. They were hosting an open mic night, so always a crap shoot. We were in the area and stopped in. Nachos were just okay.

Not a bad place to grab a few drinks. We stopped in waiting for a table at a restaurant down the road. Overall prices were not bad. Got a $5 margarita and the wife grabbed ab orange crush. A fresh squeezed orange cocktail. Kind of a nice place to get a drink and chill for a little bit.

Came here just for the band and cocktails. Service for as busy has they were was very good. The band for the songs they knew were very good. I had to laugh a little on the ones they didn't. ( they floated through them well)Drink selection was good and server was very knowledgeable. For night life in this area for my age I recommend this place. I would come back.

We really like the HH - sad it's not on weekends - so if we want a weekend HH it's Conch Island!

Conch Island is a must-visit for us every summer, thanks to its lively atmosphere and the unbeatable Clams Chardonnay--the best in Rehoboth! Despite being busy during our last visit, the owner's personal apology and attentiveness made us feel valued. Their burgers are also fantastic, keeping us coming back year after year. Can't wait for next summer!

My bf and I went here after our beach day at Rehoboth. Would love to come back!!! As soon as we got in, the bartender said to pick a seat anywhere, so a very chill vibe. The server was fast and friendly and we didn't wait long for our food. I had the three daughters burger, and my bf got the key west chicken sandwich and both were fantastic! The fries were the crinkle ones, which are meh, but the sandwiches made up for it. We were then convinced to get the cup r cone cookie sandwich, and it is to DIE FOR. Absolutely get it, you won't disappoint. After eating, I was expecting a hefty bill, but I was pleasantly surprised that I wouldn't have to take out a loan to pay for it. When we're in the area again, we would love to come back for some live music.

I'm giving this a four-star based on how it was as a bar. It was really fun, they had this gong gimmick where if you ordered 10 shots you get to hit this gong in a really theatrical manner. The service was super fast especially considering that the bar was packed for an awesome 80s band. The food was great for being bar food and ambience and people were friendly and fun!

So we came for midget wrestling. We wanted to get there early to get a good seat, so we ate there. I read the reviews and went in with low expectations. Well, the reality was way better than my expectations!!! Order the shrimp, mussels and clams. Then dip the shrimp in sauces that come with the mussels and clams. Delicious! The nachos are made with real cheese, the shrimp are judge and the wings were on point. Ahi tuna was ok (a little too cooked for me, and did not like the sauce, and the crab dip was made with canned crab. Again, the dish was OK, but probably would not order again. The staff was incredibly nice and on it!! Even with a full house, we never waited long for a server...and the drinks were great! Not too strong but you could taste the liquor. Finally, fair prices!!!! We were pleasantly surprised when we got our bill. We will be back to watch a band. Great vibe!

If you are going to come to Conch island - (which is now located down the street on rehoboth ave from the previous location). Make sure you go on a Thursday night!! Matt Avery performs on Thursday's and he is the absolute best. Awesome three hours straight of music - no breaks. Tons of 80s 90s and 00s hits all off the cuff and whatever the crowd wants to hear. Pair that night with a bunch of great drinks from the beautiful bar and you have a great night on your hands. Make sure to get a shotski if you have a group!

Second time at the new location of Conch Island, both experiences were less than mediocre. Calamari was way over cooked and instead of apologizing and taking it back the waiter tried to convince me that they use panko so it comes out crispy. Crispy is great but over cooked to the point that they are dark brown and leathery. The Mahi tacos were horrible the fish was not fresh and had a bad odor as soon as the plate was placed in front of me. The bathrooms were dirty. The band Robin and the Hoods was amazing can't wait to see them at a different venu.

Ended up here because my first three choices of restaurant all had an hour wait for a table. My friends and I were feeling fortunate to find somewhere that could seat us right away, but could that be a bad sign? We decided to take our chances. As the band for Sunday night did their sound check, we ordered drinks. My frozen pina colada came topped with whipped cream and a cherry- an indulgent drink, but so yummy. The girls opted for more adult cocktails, which were stronggg! We sampled a few things off the appetizer list for dinner. The crab dip, tuna ceviche, and an order of mango habanero wings. The lumps of crab were awesome, but the thick layer of cheese on top of the dip was not melted enough creating a tough barrier to scooping the dip. The tuna of the tuna ceviche was delicious, but the "crostini" it was served on top of was actually just mini pita breads, which had been soaked through by the juices, making it very difficult to eat. I would have preferred crostini on the side to avoid this level of soakage. The wings were good- I really liked the sauce. We left after hearing a few songs from the band. A fun place for drinks, and for some bar nibbles but I might wait the hour for a table somewhere nearby next time I'm at the beach.

Great food and great music. The corn nachos were excellent!! Minus two plus one, the band performing that night were also excellent!! Great place.

Had gone to the previous location and always enjoyed it. Went Sunday night for a quick dinner and were pleasantly surprised it was Live karaoke night. Food was fresh and my husband could barely finish his Blackened Salmon BLT it was so large; I got Crab Quesadillas and had lots of ( real) Crabmeat. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Stopped in on a rainy day to get away from kids and rain. Dark atmosphere, with a stage for the band and key west Florida and 80's paraphernalia all over. Had steamed shrimp and Asian wings. Both items were fantastic!!

Conch Island in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. Low expectations win the day and remain undefeated. This was a Cheesey cheesesteak. Yes it is a beach town so the cheesesteak was small, a little overpriced and the place was loud. But the loudness was mostly coming from Matt Garvey former lead guitarist for '80's pop start Tiffany. The good news is that the cheesesteak came with waffle fries, had a good roll, the meat was seasoned nicely, it had a lot of cheese and the raw onions gave it a nice surprise crunch and flavor. I was with friends Jeremy and Jadine owners of the boutique hotel, Ocean glass inn. The Ocean Glass Inn where I think they are far too nice to the guest with a free breakfast, free happy hour, free use of boogie boards, towels and beach wagons. Overall it was a very good experience.

Went to hear Rob Benton(for the third time here). Great music and service! Loved the bar tenders. Food just average....Great bar drinks

We have been going to Conch Island for years and it never disappoints! The new location is bigger and better with huge neon lights hanging and a very spacious area. The food, well the food is always amazing!! The 1/2 off peal and eat shrimp is a must.. and the steak.. and wings... burgers.. or even the crab legs! We have never received a bad meal here, it is truly a hidden gem. The staff... oh the staff... amazing.. quick speedy service!! Year after year the manager always recognizes us and is sure to stop over to chat for a few. He can be seen cleaning tables, running the bar, greeting customers, or waitressing. A absolute must when you visit Rehoboth beach!

Thanks , I thing it was a communication issue, we visited there for few days. we came from Northern Virginia where everything was mostly open. I think it was the way of delivering the massage, it should be polIte. It's not personal but we liked the place, the waiter was amazing and deserved the tip.

This place is not good. There was a booger on my menu. Our waitress looked like she should be working at Hooters (not very child appropriate with my 6 year old around.) The waitress was very confusing because I said I wanted chicken tacos with just the chicken and the tortilla. She made me pick "a style", and that was so incredibly confusing. This place caused me to get into so many arguments with my family, so thanks. For some reason, they were playing Let It Go, from the frozen movie, on repeat. My chicken tacos were not good. I had one lousy hunk of chicken in each tortilla.

This was one of our favorite places to enjoy music while in town. The bars owners or management brought in some great performances while we were there, so much so we have followed them on facebook hoping to see them again. The place gets packed but everyone is there to have a good time. Music volume was appropriately loud without being obnoxious. Definitely coming back here. Food was the typical bar variety but reasonable prices on food and drink.

One start because they won't let me leave 0 stars..... at 12:30 today there were 3 people at the bar that were being told they couldn't get any more shots.... Packed up and walked out..... don't need that... they need to rethink their strategy of who to call customers.

We stopped into this bar to grab a quick drink and some dinner. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. My husband got a beer and I had a mixed drink - the mixed drink was so bad that I couldn't finish it. My husband went to the bathroom and there was a dirty bath towel on the floor. At that point, we decided not to try the food and left. It was a very disappointing visit.

This business will be lucky if I don't report it to the better business bureau! Two nights in a row my Son has experienced trouble with his tab. Multiple times he was overcharged for drinks! 9 tequila shots, rum runners ect they never ordered? Last night he tried to explain to the owner that he was again charged for two girls drinks that were not on his tab. The cops were called because my Son refused to pay it! Employees and the owner simply don't care. They care about their almighty dollar but remember many are not working right now including my Son. If you go here check your bill and make it clear who is on your tab! If you are younger; beware! I do feel like because my Son is only 23 he was being taken advantage of! To Courtney, your comment is BS! All of his friends say it's untrue! The bar called the cops! Your bartender was being dishonest period! Your bartenders need to be better humans! Don't scam customers! I don't care if it's Covid or not!

Awesome Ny strip & a twist on vegtable medley, Friendly staff and a worthy pour! Pleny of space to shake a leg and a great atmosphere.

A group of us went to to conch a couple of times. Once just for drinks and music and a second time for drinks and food. The food is amazing and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the peel n eat shrimp, wings and the crab cakes which are amazing. The place is cool. They have managed to pull off the key west vibe and the music was good. Got to listen to Matt Avery who was really entertaining. The staff are all super friendly and the service in general was great. We had a great bartender both times - Olivia if I recall. Super attentive, friendly and really took care of us and our group. I am glad that this place is open. We will definitely be back.

Was not impressed. It's such a shame because I had high hopes. Was there yesterday and my boyfriend and I were not treated well. The server was great but what I'm assuming was the manager was not friendly at all. Food was fair at best and the drinks were your typical beach drinks. I felt like the environment lacked welcoming vibes..will not be returning.

What a complete disappointment. Service was good (mike). Everything else was horrible. The owner and his daughter are above everyone else Amazing if you donate to the cops they just turn a blind eye. I have never been in a place that thought their shit did not stink but smelled bad. POO POO to youl We were very uncommfortable due to the lack of covid protocol. They could care less about anyone. Decent drinks and amazing musician! I loved the experience with the musician but they cut us off too early. they followed all COVID guidelines to my knowledge. Great job and a decent time but they cut us off for no reason???? Have a room at atlantic sands and not really all that drunk. wouldn't go back again, not sure why the bar would cut you off when you're tipsy and they're barely open with covid restrictions???? oh well. lost a customer.

so tonight, i literally just showed up to appreciate staffand music after a terrible week, and i met some people. next thing i know, the bar tenders and who knowswhat else wouldn't let me stay. no explanation no cause. paid bill. danced. was gracious with staff. i will be contacting the aclu because i was just trying to enjoy the music and dance. they messed w/the wrong person. u will b hearing from my lawyer.first amendment

We went in on a Tuesday night so it wasn't really happening yet. Lindsey did a great job taking care of us. She was attentive with the service and timing of the food and drinks. Conch fritters were nice but small. The entrees were flavorful and appropriately sized. Bonus Point: Lindsey noticed us on the Boardwalk the following night and stopped to say "HI"! She could have very easily kept walking by and not say anything but this is what will bring me back to see her and stop by Conch Island again. Those little things matter to us in the industry. We noticed that on Friday the place was packed and live music was playing.

Loved it till tonight. Their main act, Matt Avery, made it clear that gay men are not really welcome there. In Rehoboth. A town whose name that means "A place for everyone". Was just playing around dancing with my straight friend Jason who said " we can totally go dance together " when Matt says from the stage " well the gays are here...they are welcome"... Then pulls the microphone away and says "NOT". Loudly. So everyone can hear. As. A. Joke. It's 2016. Rehoboth. Wow. You are in one of the biggest per capita LGBT towns in the US. Sad and disappointed. Edit: I'd like to say that Bryan Derrickson, the owner, reached out to me personally within two hours of the incident and sincerely and thoughtfully apologized for what had happened. It is clear from what he wrote to me that his view for his business and what he believes is antithetical to what happened. I always want to be fair to any public business so I hope you take that into consideration.

stopped in for a drink at 8 pm on Friday 11/4/22. Sign on door said anyone under 21 needed to leave by 9:00 pm. Ok fine, our son who will be 21 on 12/17 was with us, no biggie, just wanted to show the place to a friend visiting from out of town. WE ARE LOCALS. The bouncer immediately jumped up and stopped our son by putting his hand on his chest and asked for ID. We said it's only 8:00 pm we will be gone before 9:00. At 8:40 pm a family arrived with with 2 young girls, one was maybe 10 The bouncer was super friendly shook dad's hand etc. We were honest with our waitress about our son's age and he ordered an ice water. On our way out I stopped and asked the bouncer If the little girl was going to have to leave by 9:00 pm. he said oh I know her and they're here celebrating a birthday. I said again yes but no one under 21 can be in here after nine remember you jumped up at 8 o'clock and stopped my son. Which he freaking denied doing and then told me to get the fuck out of there. So guess what check your freaking security cameras because I will never spend another dime in your restaurant!

The artist tonight, Matt Avery, is an asshole. He very ignorantly pointed out our group and asked if we speak English (being the only non white people here). He threw random curse words & drug references in songs, trying to be funny I guess, but wasn't. My 5'0 friend was sortve manhandled out of here for no good reason after commenting on his asshole ignorant comments. Drinks aren't very good (sangria was terrible actually: i literally saw the bartender dump a mini bottle of wine in a glass, a shot of Triple sec afterward, some juices & a cut orange. This isn't sangria) take home message: don't bother with cocktails & Matt Avery is a dick

Absolutely disgusting. First time dining and had high expectations. Sat at a table near by tonight and watched an older women who kept saying she was an "owner" harass a young woman at a near by table. As they left the restaurant another woman who I was told was part of management repeatedly gave them the finger as they paid the bill and left the restaurant peacefully. I honestly have never seen anything like this. Our server was amazing and my experience was fine. But I will never return due to the matter that I witnessed tonight. If she is an "owner" you should rethink your team and buy that lady out.

0 stars. This place has no class. The bartender, Olivia, doesn't know what the word hospitality even means. She disrespected my sister for wearing a bathing suit & cover up when their bar is a couple blocks from the beach? She thought that gave her the right to harass us & call my sister derogatory names. Even though they treated us like dirt we still tipped well over 20% because we've all worked in the service industry & understand the business. DON'T RECOMMEND & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I'm not sure of her name, but she was a female bartender and was so rude to me and my friends. I'm a local and work down the block and will not be back. You'd think during desperate times like these you'd treat your customers with respect and kindness but she was a total b**ch.

I finally found somewhere with great customer service and great wings!! I moved to the Rehoboth Beach area from the DC, MD, VA area and I've been hurting trying to finding decent food and an establishment that acts like they want you to return! Yeah.. I've even had bad chicken wings here!! Some many places act as if you're here for the wknd..you gotta eat somewhere... we dont care if you come back..there will be other tourists.

Been vacationing at rehoboth since I was 25- loved this place then and love it now that I'm 33. Good strong drinks, great bartenders, and a hoop shoot! Also now that I'm a parent, going out to eat is an adventure of it's own. We pushed the stroller right into this place at a table, ordered happy hour shrimp which were huge, delicious, and cheap and were in and out no hassle in about 30 minutes!

Great job of social distancing and Matt Avery id the best! If you're looking for live music go here!

Went in for happy hour. Had the steamed shrimp and cheese fries. My wife and I thought the food was very good. Happy hour drink prices were on point. $3 shock top. Friendly bartenders too. We will be back again

This is our go to place when we are in town. We love, love, love the shrimp appetizer during happy hour which is served warm with clarified butter and cocktail sauce. This is seriously high quality huge shrimp. We also had several very well-made cocktails by Mike. He's a wonderful bartender, and he always has great suggestions for us. We also enjoyed the happy hour filet mignon with a salad and potato. Again, very good food and excellently prepared! We closed our tab with Mike and he allowed us to move to the other bar where we would have a better view of Matt Avery. We enjoyed singing and dancing in our seat along two hits from the 70s to present. They do a great job of upholding the Covid safety minutia while still allowing you to enjoy your food, drinks and the music. Wish the same could be said for other places in Rehoboth! (I got followed around the store like a common criminal at Browseabout Books today because I was holding my mask 2 inches from my mouth while my glasses unsteamed-- I had my mask fully on, but the mask police felt it necessary to chide me publicly!) Ha ha!

Had the best time!!! St Patrick's Day celebration was amazing. The singer was so much fun we couldn't leave. Great people- great drinks friendly staff

Love this bar. This is the second time we have gone. I love Mike the bartender. He was amazing and super helpful. The love music was the best I've heard at a bar. The environment is great. The food is eh 6/10 but drinks are amazing! Definitely coming back!

Awesome place we just walked into. First time in rohobeth. Happy hour was awesome. Steamed shrimp was amazing at half priced. $ oysters. Bartenders mike and Michelle so friendly and great!!! Loving rohobeth so far!!!

GREAT service, Bar and drinks- however they get a 1 start because my $8 dollar beer with tip was charged by the merchant for $50 and is still pending that much 2 days later. Why do they need to charge that much to make sure I have the money in my account?

My friend and I were having a great time listening to music and enjoying a mini vacation. The bar tenders were jovial and witty, even though that had a very limited selection to work with. We were mostly talking to each other and occasionally would be social and talk to our neighbors. Guys would periodically come up to talk to us, since we were single females, but every time the did the bouncer would run them off. I get it, covid and social distancing whatever. At the end of the night, I think it was a manager, but I was coming back from the restroom and enjoying the music they were playing and dancing on my walk back. Apparently this isn't allowed and then she proceeded to blame us for people coming up and talking to us. She made up a bunch of crap about having to "talk" to us multiple times throughout the night even though it was the first time she ever came over and we were in our seats the entire night, except for an occasional trip to the restroom. All in all, she completely ruined our experience at this place. She was a horrid individual and there are plenty of other fun bars to experience in the area. It's a shame that her staff has to deal with her, because there is so much potential of having a great time. I also love giving fellow pilots (the boss) support in there endeavors, but I will not be returning.

Was in Rehoboth last week and visited Conch Island EVERY night for 3 reasons.....the drinks, the food and the band....They had a Key West band, The Durtbags, playing all week. They were Awesome! Mike, Michelle, Lyndsay and Heather were our bartenders and were all Fantastic! This should DEFINITELY be a stop while you're in town!
