Concord Equestrian at Red Maple Farm

I can't recommend this program enough! I've been working with the team at Concord for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier, my horses and I have improved in these last few months more than I have in the past 10 years I’ve been riding. The tailored exercises and consistent guidance not only improved my posture and communication with my horse but also helped strengthen them and myself in a way I hadn’t seen before. Coming to Mark I had no confident on either of my horses. After my trainer of 9 years passed their behavior, and my technique declined rapidly. Not only did Mark and Taylor‘s program take me from being on the verge of quitting to finding my spark and helping me love this sport again. I’ve never seen my horses happier and more comfortable in their own bodies. And this was all done in a few short months, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us!

I moved to Kentucky in early 2021, until I found Mark, Taylor and Chico I struggled to find a trainer who had the knowledge I was looking for , one who had a proven track record, one with proven experience. Mark is so different from the other places I have experienced or met with while looking for a trainer. His knowledge base, experience, and ability to pass information to riders and horses is incredibly impressive. I wish I had made the move to his program much sooner than I did.

I cannot recommend Mark and Taylor enough! As a person who has ridden for 20+ years on nothing but spooky, green, confidence breaking horses, I came to Concord Equestrian with the intent of just having flat lessons. Mark has worked with me and has given me the confidence not only on the flat, but also jumping. I truly cannot thank Mark and Taylor for everything they have done and continue doing for me as a rider and overall horse person. Once I am ready to have a horse again, I know exactly where I want them to be.

We recently moved to Lexington from North Carolina and interviewed many barns and trainers. Mark and Taylor along with London and Chico made us feel right at home within 10 minutes of arrival. Their horse first mentality is exactly what we were looking for. Within the 1st month we noticed positive changes in our horse as well as our daughter found a deeper passion to continue to learn and progress in this sport. Fantastic training, staff and facility! Recently moved to KY from TX and started lessons and training rides at Concord. I am so happy with progress both myself and horse have made in the past 2 months. Lessons are positive and relevant.
